Rachel looked up at Hogwarts, the place that was basically like a second home to her and her twin brother Rob. They had wreaked havoc on the school and seeing it again brought back many of these memories for Rachel, not just the experiences that she shared with her brother but also the experiences that she had of being with her friends especially Constance, who was basically her sister in everything except for blood. And today after such a long time Rachel had off and so did Constance and they had decided to get together today and catch up. She really wanted to hear about how everything happened with Constance and Rob. There were so many questions about that she felt like pestering her brother about that. But currently she had no idea of how to get a hold of him since the letters that she had sent with an owl had been returned. She was beginning to worry about him. How could she not, she practically shared everything with her twin and now there was silence on his end. She was going to get to the bottom of this.
Rachel made her way towards the familiar pub, the Three Broomsticks. Ah it had been many, and by many I mean many months since the last time that she had been in here. It was one of her favorite places to go with friends. Now as long as Constance didn’t bring what was his name…Nathan with her that was for the better. Rachel wasn’t about to let Constance pick out men for her to date, or was she? Rachel wasn’t sure anymore and the thought about getting set up on a blind date kind of excited her. It was different and it was definitely something and someone new.
Entering the pub she noticed that there were many people hear, most likely to get an early lunch, and to get out of the cold. Here inside the pub it was warm and so Rachel took off her cloak and folded it over her arm before she went and found a table, or rather it just so happened to be the exact same table the she, her brother and their friends used to sit at when they frequented the pub quite often, even breaking the rules and sneaking off to the pub. Lucky for them none of the villagers ever said anything to their professors about them leaving the school grounds. However Rachel and Rob had the sneaking suspicion that at least their head of house knew about it but didn’t say anything about it. And now here Rachel was sitting at the all too familiar table that had their initials etched into it and so she signaled to the barmaid for a butterbeer. She checked her watch and noticed that Constance hadn’t shown up yet but Rachel hoped that she would soon for she would love to see her sister in all but blood, once more for it had been far too long.
