Considering her job, Heleen had considered it vital to learn occlumency. Not only had the Dutch government seen it as an obligatory skill for all their unspeakables, it seemed like a very good skill to have. It had taken her a while to find somebody willing to teach her and she'd made sure that it had been a ministry (Dutch ministry, mind you) approved official that had signed a NDA to ensure that if he had gained access to any information regarding the department he would not disclose it to anybody. Today was a good day, as today she'd finally rounded off her training and her master had congratulated her on her graduation. As she left the little studio where they'd mostly practised she felt pretty good about herself. Today was a good day. She got on the tube on her way home, not in the mood to take a faster magical mode of transportation. She wanted to enjoy the day and the scenery.
As she was staring out the window she suddenly felt a tickling sensation in the back of her mind. She recognised the feeling all too well and her defence were up before she'd even consciouly registered the threat. Now that she was aware that somebody was trying to enter her mind, her guard was up. She mentally started checking for invasion into her mind and checking if she'd left any openings. The sensation got stronger and she could feel the pressure. She would not yield. She would not be distracted now that somebody actively tried to gain access. It was a silent and mental war that lasted about fifteen minutes. At that point Heleen had gotten to her stop and got off the tube. She was slightly surprised to find her master standing there, waiting for her with a big smile on his face. She gave him a suspicious look. "Did you orchestrate that?" She asked him suspiciously. He merely shrugged. "That was the final exam and I am happy to say you passed. My associate did not manage to steal any information out of your mind." Heleen, while clearly relieved, also shot her master a playful glare. "That is brilliant, but also mean."
