2014 Creevey Residence An eight-year-old blonde came running through the house; her giggles heard louder than anything else. Her father, Dennis Creevey, was not far behind, his hearty laughter heard as well. Not long after they reached the kitchen, Dennis had caught her, grabbing her by her waist and tickling her until she couldn't breathe. An older looking blonde, someone that Florence would surely look like when she was older, entered the room with a smile.
'Florence, come here a second.' The woman said, her French accent still thick after all these years being in London. The little girl wiggled from her father's grasp and ran towards her mother, grasping her hands and looking up at her. "Yes, mama?" she questioned, her eyes looking at the woman intently. The woman smiled down at her, kneeling before the young child. She knew that eventually, she would have to tell the young child about her heritage, especially before she started school.
'You know those stories, the ones with the beautiful women? The ones I used to tell you about when you were younger?' The little girl nodded eagerly, allowing the woman to continue, 'Well, they aren't just for stories. They are real. My mama was one...meaning I'm also one. Do you know what that means darling?' The little girl nodded with excitement, "I'm one too!"
The woman smiled, giggling lightly and nodded her head, 'Yes, my love...you are too.' It was from that moment on, until she started at Hogwarts, that Florence learned about these beautiful women, learning about her heritage and what it meant for her. While she was only an eighth of what her grandmother was, she still had the same blood coursing through her very veins.
February 2022 Hogwarts Great Hall
A now sixteen-year-old Florence stood within the Great Hall, her eyes moving around all the people that passed her by. There was someone that she wanted to ask to the Valentine's Day thing at Hogsmeade. She was nervous, almost scared because she felt like he may say no. She took a deep breath and slowly moved towards him, and once she was before him, she froze. Everyone was looking at her like she had three heads, and he sort of rolled his eyes at her. "Can I help you halfblood?' he questioned, his tone rude - but this didn't stop her, instead, she took a deep breath, cleared her throat and spoke. "I-I was wondering if you wanted to go to the Valentine's Day thing...with me?"
Everyone erupted in laughter, including the guy that she was asking to go. He looked at her like she was insane, and questioned why she would believe that he would ever want to go with someone like her. She grew angry, someone like her? She narrowed her eyes and felt a shift in her body before she huffed and turned on her heels. However, he stopped her, grabbing her arm and looking at her differently, as if he were under some sort of spell. "Actually...I'd love to go with you," he said, everyone around him shocked by this change. Quickly, her eyes widened and she realized what had happened. She shook her head, removed herself from his grip and took off running, her name coming from his lips sounding from behind her.
