Was it a shock to anyone that Oona O'Toole was in the library? Not really. It probably would have been more of a shock if she had been anywhere else, though she nearly always had her nose in a book. Well, that was usually the case, unless she was in class. Then, she was usually taking notes or reminding her classmates that they really did need to be quiet instead of talking so much.
Happily, though, the back corner of the library wasn't exactly crowded on a Friday evening, which was exactly how she liked it. And people were talking, unfortunately, with her House and year as a major focus. Priscilla Rosier, who had been her roommate, had been expelled from Hogwarts for attacking Kinsey Bainbridge, and the news had made that morning's paper. While she—along with everyone else who had been at the engagement party—had seen how distraught Priscilla was over Riley Fudge's sudden announcement that he wasn't going to marry her, she hadn't thought that Priscilla would ever do anything like that.
Oona felt bad for Kinsey and did wonder who would be leading the SPMH in Priscilla's place, but she still had schoolwork to do. So, with numerous books spread out on the table in front of her, that was what she was doing with her time—ideally without being interrupted by anyone.
