FEBRUARY 22, 2025 The second term was moving smoothly, though there were still a few snags that have people worried. Because of the attack on Hogsmeade over the holiday, Aurors have started appearing at Hogwarts to make sure things run as smoothly as they have, but they haven't stopped the students from visiting the little town. Things were still a little bad there, but it wasn't too bad that places were closed.
Laurel had taken the opportunity to attend during February, taking the first shift on the 22nd. It was the same day that the supposed party for the engagement of two students was taking place, but Laurel wasn't attending. She was sure that her pureblood family would have loved to have attended - maybe some of her siblings had - but she didn't agree with the arranged marriage thing.
Hell - she was surprised her father and mother hadn't brought it up since her return, then again, she had already ruined their name.

SO MUCH HAD HAPPENED IN such little timing. Sari was pinning for Nate, kissing him behind the scenes, telling Eli of crude details, and then going back to the routine of avoiding the Slytherin boy. In actual reality however, Hogsmeade had been through a lot. Chaos, ruining people’s times and most definitely riling up Sari’s anxiety. For someone who appeared so confident, the Fawley was truly nothing from that. January rolled around and eventually by February, the brunette dropped her blonde act. It was tiresome and even conducting magic on her ridiculous waves was becoming tedious.
Even her Mystery Man from Gilderoy’s dance seemed to like it, despite not even knowing who she was, and the same was Sari. She kind of…missed him? Besides that, with the next Hogsmeade weekend lining up, the brunette decided to take the opportunity of a day away, hopefully see Hogsmeade in a new light…And most definitely see more Aurors around. Not that Sari minded. They were turning up at Hogwarts after all.
February 22nd, while Sari knew an important event was probably ongoing, she waved the day as the last. Simple and ordinary. Until the Fawley was in the queue, ready to depart with the rest of the groups when she realised this day wouldn’t be ordinary nor simple. Across from her Laurel stood, looking at the vast amount of people and Sari felt the need to hide there and then. She had been skipping her sisters class a little more lately, and some of her scores had dipped in other classes…She most certainly didn’t want to have an earful as of now.

Slowly students removed themselves from the transportation from Hogwarts, each going off into groups of their own. Laurel was left to watch them all, telling them to meet back at this spot at a certain time to return to Hogwarts. She pulled her coat closer around her, counting each head that passed her until her eyes landed on Sari. Their eyes met, and slowly Laurel lurched forward through the crowd.
Her sister had been skipping some of her classes. And from what she had heard from other professors, she wasn't doing so hot in class anymore. What had suddenly changed in Sari Fawley that this had come about? Sure, Laurel had been out of their lives for years since learning of her pregnancy. Had it gotten this bad? She smiled brightly at her sister, "Come to enjoy a day of Hogsmeade? Any plans?" she questioned, not wanting to bring up any disappointment. That was what their parents were for.
