(Closed to @charlene, and later.... Elaine Lyra Dupree)
James Matthews stood on the first floor of Hogwarts, waiting not so eagerly for a girl named Charlene. Why? Well, he wasn't proud of it, but he had no other options, and wanted to protect his mother from a dangerous enemy. That being the Purifiers. He had to. He also needed to know what they were planning. He'd play the long game if he needed to. He stood and paced for minutes on end. He sighed sitting down on a nearby bench. Okay, get yourself together, Matthews. He told himself repeatedly. He paced and sat down again. He had been told to meet him there.
Of course, this took a long time to do. He had to get through a lot of barriers to get this meeting. And when I mean a lot, I mean a lot. It took almost a month or so. And every day he wondered if it was a good idea to do this. What if he was discovered? What if he was found out and his mother was killed? That would be the worst punishment they could bestow upon him. But he really had no other options. He needed to do this.
The Gryffindor sat there for a few more moments before standing, hearing footsteps.
