James was stressed. Beyond stressed. He had been able to take a leave of absence from Hogwarts to take care of his sick and ill mother. He had no idea where the sickness had come from. It was so sudden. He was also a week or two in of being a Purifier, and it was driving him crazy. No matter what he did, it always felt wrong, or was watched somehow. He had to keep on his toes for days, and it was stressing him out. The Gryffindor was walking down the sidewalk to his home, but of course, he was taking the scenic route. Or the town route. He was carrying stuff for his mother. Food, medicine, those weird little chocolates she always liked to eat. he wasn't a big fan of chocolate, but it sure made his mom happy.
He was wearing jeans, tennis shoes, and hoodie, and a black shirt underneath that hoodie. He had that hoodie over his head, and of course, it was drizzling softly. He kind of liked it. But nature always kept him calm and made him feel happy. The bags felt light, but of course, he held it in a backpack he carried with him, as it was slung over his shoulder. James sighed, feeling a bit tired from all the walking, and sat down on a bench, his head leaned backwards and looking straight up.

TRIGGER WARNING: DEATH, MURDER! Kataleya wasn't feeling today; she wanted to kill something. Anything! She was itching just to cast a curse and watch the light leave someone's eyes. And yet, she couldn't. She couldn't make it seem like the murders she had committed back home with her brother had come to London. What would the ministry think? Surely they would be suspicious...but if the murders were to stop altogether, at least, the trend that she and her brother started after they murdered their grandparents...they would believe they were safe.
Walking among Muggle London wasn't her idea of a fun day, but alas, here she was. She looked around, distaste clear on her face as she watched the muggles move in their clusters. She rolled her eyes, crossing her arms over her chest as if they were the plague, and a simple touch would kill her.

James was still sitting on the bench. He was not unarmed. He had his wand safely tucked into his pocket. He knew how dangerous London could be, even with the Ministry. He looked into the bags and found that everything had been accounted for. The chocolates that his mother loved, the meds, etc. It was all there. He sighed gratefully. He was so wrapped up he couldn't even hear footsteps approaching him. But even if he had noticed, it wasn't like it'd be anyone dangerous, right? James then pulled out from the bag a keychain he had bought. This was for his mother, but it was also for him.
He was determined to give this to her. Out of everything in the bag, the keychain was the most important. It was a token of his love for his mother. Indeed, his mother was the most important thing to him, and if he lost her, that'd be worse than anything else. Even his own death would not be as terrible. And that is why he was almost against joining the Purifiers. If they found out where his mother lived, it'd be all over for James. Maybe they'd read her mind. Or worse, kill her. James shuddered at the thought,. He sat still for several moments on the bench, his head lowered to the keychain, fingering it nervously.

Heels clicked against the pavement of the sidewalk within London. It was much different from home, foreign to what she was used to. But she enjoyed the thrill of it. It was shiny and new, and it was aching to be hurt in the way that she had. She pulled to a stop by a bench, noticing another sitting there. She wanted to clear her throat and tell them to move, but she sat down next to him, crossing her legs and moving so that she had enough distance between them.
His face was lowered, his fingers fumbling over a keychain that he held in his hands. Was he nervous? What was his story? Did she care enough to ask? Not really. But she spoke, "Nice keychain...where did you get it?" her foreign accent still thick from her time in Greece.

James was so deep in his thoughts, he hadn't noticed a woman sitting down next to him. He only looked up when she spoke. Well, actually, he jumped a little in surprise. Then settled down only a little. He glanced at her, then his key chain. "Uh... um, from the store," he mumbled, nervous. He hadn't wanted this necklace out in front of other people and he thought he was pretty alone. It looked expensive, and it was. It was just to cheer his mother up. But it also seemed important to him.
He had gotten it from the store, but it was a bit difficult to tell her anything other than that. He could have offered his name, but he had no idea who she was. At least, right now anyway. It was strange that he was mumbling since he usually never mumbled, but he had bee worried and nervous for his mother. Who was a little sick, but also could be a target?

'Uh...um, from the store,' The woman internally groaned, and it appeared as a roll of her eyes to the outside world. Was he that stupid? Of course, she knew that it had come from a store; it wasn't like she thought that he was crapping out little trinkets like that from his butthole. She sighed, smiling as sweetly as possible. "I've assumed that kid. I meant where...as in what is the name of the store?" she said, her tone coming out as slow as possible. Was this kid serious? She instantly regretted making conversation with the child.

James realized what she meant with an embarrassed groan. "Oh. I apologize. I didn't know exactly what you meant," he told the other woman simply. No need to make things complicated. "I got it from..." he paused. He was trying to remember. He wasn't sure if this person was a muggle or not, so if he said something non-muggle, and she was a muggle, he'd look like a crazy person. But what if she wasn't? He knew he had gotten it especially made. Diagon Alley, he guessed.
He guessed he'd have to wing it. "I got it from a store, I don't exactly remember the name, I'm not really good with names," James admitted. He could tell though that the woman was getting uninterested. "Speaking of names, what's yours?" James asked, thinking it best to just ask her name so that the awkward moment of silence could pass.
