It wasn’t a busy day for Beatrice; she got up later than she usually did, did some yoga at home in the comfort of her raggedy sweatpants, before taking a shower and making her way to her favorite coffee shop for some reading. It might seem boring to some, but it was the first Saturday Beatrice had off in quite some time. It was the holidays, so Quidditch was on hiatus until the following weekend, and secretly Bea hoped the Arrows used this time to reflect how they work together as a team. It had gotten rather tedious writing article after article about their losses; she could only do so much to make the losing team look good, so she really needed them to win a few to make things easier on her! Was that too much to ask? She also wasn’t a fan of Elliot’s smug look on his face every morning after she came into the office after a match. Just because he was an editor now didn’t mean he had the right to shove her teams losses in her face; it was aggravating enough!
Trying not to think about Elliot, Beatrice ordered her favorite coffee and pulling a paperback out of her bag. As she waited, a few people came in and out of the shop, but she paid them no mind until someone very familiar came wandering in, as if looking for someone. “Nova?” she called, surprised to see her best friend and Hogwarts professor. “Nova! Over here! What are you doing in London?” she asked, pleased to see her.
