QUARANTINE PLOT & GRADUATION

As you may have read in the most recent Major News, located HERE, the British Isles (and surrounding area) has been officially quarantined due to a new magical ailment that is affecting the magical community! This ailment is non-lethal, though it can be a bit of a pain to deal with depending on the severity of your symptoms. 

Now, here's where the fun begins. From May 12, 2025 IC until further notice all magical characters are limited to areas of the site that take place in the Isles. That is Hogwarts, England, Ireland & North Ireland, Scotland, Wales, and Residences. They may also post in Other magical places that aren't outside the Isles (aka, no posting in the Americas  and mainland Europe.). Non magical characters (squibs and muggles) are still free to travel outside the Isles. Ilvermorny transfer students will call the orphanage home during the quarantine. 

This does not affect threads that take place prior to May 12, 2025.

All members can decide who your characters will be affected by this rampant ailment. Whether your character falls ill, how ill they are, etc, is entirely up to you! The symptoms are laid out in the news paper article. 


In addition! Hogwarts graduation is going on as planned! The students that will be moving from student to adult are below. If the student had claimed a job in the 7th Year Career Plans thread located HERE, the student will be automatically changed to that job once IC summer begins. Any last minute changes to these plans should be messaged to Admin Sora immediately! The change of ranks will begin January 1st. If your seventh year doesn't have any plans by that date you will have to use the claim change thread to claim a job.
