Sav had just joined Puddlemere united, so even if his team had made the championship that year, he wouldn’t have been playing with them. But the whole team had come anyway and were all sitting in a box together to cheer on the two teams who did make it. He couldn’t help but dream about this time next year. Maybe then he’d be out on the pitch with his team, playing in front of almost everyone in the wizarding world. Decked out in a wasps jersey that they sold at the stands, Sav left his teammates momentarily for the only thing almost as important as Quidditch: food. The concessions stands were packed, but he didn’t mind. The wait would give him a chance to say hello to people he recognized. He knew quite a few people so he expected to see a lot of them here.

Katherine had come straight from her apprenticeship, so she had to meet Sav at the game. She wasn't crazy about crowds, but she really did like watching Quidditch... even if she had given Sav a hard time for it in the past. She hadn't confirmed with Sav whether she was coming or not though, because even if she did like Quidditch to an extent she did not like the idea of meeting his entire team, who he would be sitting with. She was insanely nervous about that. She decided to suck is up and support her boyfriend, though. Because he had asked her to come. He wasn't pushy about it, which was part of the reason she had decided to come. If he had been pushy she would not have done this. She had replaced all of her earrings across her ear in the colors of his team, just because. She wasn't sure which of the two teams they were supporting, so it was easier to just where Puddlemere colors for his sake. She had a light pink crop top sweater and high wasted, light blue jeans and kegs. Of course. She entered the stadium, looking down at the ticket Sav had given her earlier. She started to talk that direction, but on the way she caught sight of him, decked out in a Wasps Jersey. She smiled, took in a deep breath, and started to walk toward him. She offered a small wave, hoping to catch his attention. @sav

Sav could barely believe his eyes when she saw who he thought he saw. He had to blink and then look again and make sure it was here. But there she stood. He made his way over to her, leaving his spot in line. “I never thought I’d see you in a place like this!” he exclaimed. I was crazy to see her here since he had really assumed that she wouldn’t want to come. And while it did mean a lot to him, he didn’t want to force anything on her. But then she came and that was one of the biggest surprises of his life so far. His face lit up. “I’m really glad you’re here.” he admitted and leaned down to kiss her. He wasn't someone who was huge on Public Displays of Affection, but he was happy and couldn't help himself.

He caught site of her and at first didn't do anything. Though, she knew he was probably stunned by her presence or just stunned by how cute she looked, she believed either way could be possible. He reached her, leaving the line and saying he never thought he'd see her there, she shrugged a little. He continued that he was really glad she was there, leaning down to kiss her. She accepted it, smiling against his lips as she always did and returning her face to one of amused boredom when he pulled away. "I figured it was high time we made all your teammates jealous with how hott your girlfriend is," she joked. She reached a hand out to take his and looked around. "A lot of people. Sorry you lost your place in line, babe," she winced, nodding toward the concessions. @sav

Sav knew that look on her face, and he appreciated it. Even though he knew there were so many other places she would rather be, she was here with him, suffering for the greater good, at least for the good of their relationship. It really did make a huge difference to him that she was here at all. He was expecting to just be with his teammates, but this was better. And there was loads of room in their block of seats since he had an extra seat for his guest ticket anyway. “Nice earrings.” he noticed and couldn’t help but smirk at the color. “Ehh - You can make it up to me.” she shrugged when she apologized for making him get out of line, The lines were long but seeing her made waiting all the more worth it. “You can buy me a pretzel. Or let me get you a jersey.” he teased. He knew there were a lot of people here and it would likely cause her stress, so he wrapped his arm around her shoulders as he walked her back over to the line.

He complimented her earrings and she bowed her head in thanks. "All for you. I'm clearly very supportive," though her tone was sarcastic and monotone, the words were true. She was usually the queen bee in a relationship, the one who got all the attention and didn't give much. Lance taught her that she didn't have to be so stone cold all the time, which was now proving to be a valuable lesson learned in this relationship. As for the concessions, he said she could make it up to him with a pretzel or letting him get her a jersey. She grinned leaning in closer, "I had other ways of making it up to you in mind," she spoke in a low, sultry tone. Then she switched to her usual tone of boredom, leaning away, "but those options are also good. I'll wear a Jersey if you reeeeally want me to," she rolled her eyes but, really, she looked great in Jerseys. When he wrapped his arm around her she leaned into his side, grateful for the protection from the crowd. She didn't mind social events, but sporting events? That was a whole other ball game. @sav

Katheine was being such a good sport about this whole thing and it, as he kept thinking, it meant a lot to him. She said that her earrings proved that she was supportive and he smirked. She then insisted that she had other ways of making it up to him in mind, which made him smirk down at her. He was sure that he could guess what she was thinking and he couldn’t believe that the thought in his head was: now’s not that time for that. Man, Quidditch really captivated him. “Then a jersey you will get.” he decided, taking her over to the tents where she could pick one out. He didn’t mind for which team she got one, since neither were his team. He was a harpies fan, but he’d let her make her own choices. “Go ahead and pick one and then we’ll go up to where my team is.” he told her.

They moved to buy a jersey and she pointed at one of the Harpies ones. What? It was a girls team, that was obviously the right choice. Once they had it all purchased and she threw it over her crop top they headed back over to the seats with all his friends. She hadn't really met any of them, and she wasn't sure what they were going to think of her. Obviously they'd approve her looks, like, who didn't, but what about the fact that she was NOT graceful in her ability to make small talk? That was always the hardest thing for people to get past with her. Normally she wouldn't give a single fuck, but these were her boyfriends teammates... @sav

Katherine had chosen to get one of the harpie’s jerseys and Sav nodded at her choice. “I like your style.” he admitted, paying for the jersey and letting her put it on if she wished before he led the way back to the stands where his team was sitting. They had a little box type of thing close to the top where they could watch all the action from the best view. They didn’t say much as they headed over, but it was kind of hard to even hear yourself think with all the noise from the pitch and from everyone in the stands around them. As they got to the team, he introduced her to them and them all and led her over the seats he had already claimed before he even knew if she’d show. “So, what do you think of all this?” she asked.

Sav approved of her choice of a Harpies jersey which made her smile, even if she was a little nervous. The introduction went quickly, thankfully, and she kept silent and waved at the teammates. She was a confident person in her looks, though, so she didn't mind the way some watched her walk away when she followed Sav to their seats. She sat down, leaning close to him as he talked. "It's not too bad, I guess. I like being with you," she elbowed him, hard, in the side and then laughed. The game was entertaining enough. Kat leaned toward Sav, rubbing her hand over his knee and bringing her lips closer to his ear, but before she could whisper in his ear there was a loud sound that burst through the air and suddenly the floor was shaking beneath them. @sav (okay reminder of the plan: that works. he visually saw her safely away from stuff falling but then got crushed and didn't see what happened next and she gets hurt anyway and he gets buried)

Sav could tell that kat wasn’t having the best time, and he was already planning on telling her that she could leave early if she wanted to, and assure her that he really wouldn’t be upset if she did decide to, but then the stadium started to shake, which wasn’t entirely uncommon since there were thousands of people on it and a lot of action happening within the vicinity, however, this was a very aggressive shaking and then the floor fell through and flames seemed to engulf most of the wood supporting a greater part of the wizarding population.
Kat was already leaning towards him but he gripped her hand, instantly pulling her up and moving in any direction, he just knew he needed to be moving. People were flying everywhere, and not on brooms. Bodies already seemed to be lining what was left of the stadium. They were almost to the stairs when he felt the wood crack under his feet. Great numbers of people were running down the stairs. He pushed their way through the crowd, feeling badly for leaving others behind him, but wanting to take care of the person who meant the most to him in the entire world first and foremost. Sav heard the beam above them break off before he saw the thousand pound wooden block falling. In a burst of adrenaline, he pushed Kat down the stairs, hoping she’d get swept up with the crowd and make it out before it hit and crashed the landing down. The last thing he remembered was the heartbreak of letting go of her hand, as the beam crushed him beneath, sending him and countless others, falling from their level to the pitch below.
@katie (Wannah do her action/injuries and then close this one out?)

Kat had no idea what was happening until suddenly he was shoving her down the stairs. "SAV!" she screamed, watching the beam crash on top of him and the entire section crumbling into the stadium. Katherine was shaking and tried standing. Were her siblings here? She didn't even think to check if they were attending the game, what kind of sister was she that she didn't even check if they wanted to say hi? Now she had no idea if they were even here or if they were even safe. Was Lance here with his band? That was possible too, that thought made her stomach sink even more. She tried to stand, the stairs were cracked through but hadn't fallen like the rest of the section. She grabbed the bar, and that was her big mistake. The bar came loose, coming off the steps and smacking her right across the face. In another situation it would have looked kind of comical, but the blood that burst from her head as she fell unconscious on the stairs was anything but funny. @sav (the end lolol)
