My power's turned on starting right now I'll be strong I'll play my fight song And I don't really care if nobody else believes 7 JUNE 2025 So much was happening in the Potter household, and one of those things was what her daughter didn't graduate. Ginny blamed herself, she had tried her hardest with her children while Harry was away, and it wasn't enough. But luckily, she would be given one more chance, a super-seventh year as she had heard it. At least she was getting that chance, something she was thankful for. Ginny just hoped that her daughter would try this final year, and she would be allowed to attend one last graduation for her child. But that was old news, something she learned before graduation was set to start. Ginny had woken up that morning, noticing that her bed was empty. Panic set in, something that hadn't happened in a while. But as she took some breaths, she reminded herself that Harry had promised never to leave again, and she believed him. Slipping out of bed, she slipped out of the bedroom and disappeared down the step. A smile appeared on her lips when she found Harry there, sitting at the kitchen table. She drew closer, wrapping her arms around his neck, her head leaning on the top of his own. "Morning, anything new?" she questioned, referring to the Prophet newspaper he was reading. Harry didn't sleep well. He rarely did. He got up early, went down to the kitchen, and sat at the table. He wanted to go see his friends, his family, and all with his own face. He couldn't believe he was dealing with both Witch Hunters and Elaine Dupree still being on the loose. He knew, better than most, what young people were capable of. Her age had no weight on her ability to cause trouble. Tom Riddle gathered followers and wreaked havoc as a charming teen, and Elaine was doing the same. He was sick to his stomach. Sick about that, sick about the hunter girl who had been following him, and worried that his dueling classes weren't going to be enough to save anyone. Harry was normally a confident person, he tried to be, but lately his spirit was broken. Still, his guiding light and grounding force was still there for him, appearing beside him wrap her arms around him and lean her head on his. "Darling," he greeted softly, reaching a hand up to squeeze her forearm. He looked down at the paper in front of him, shaking his head just slightly, "same. I think they're trying to talk about the Quidditch tournament coming up to get their mind of things."Ginevra Molly Potter

My power's turned on starting right now I'll be strong I'll play my fight song And I don't really care if nobody else believes So much had changed between the time that he was the infamous Harry Potter, The Boy Who Lived. And now, even though it had been years since Voldemorts defeat, there were still moments when that side of him came out. While they were getting older, no longer the spritely teens they had been during the last war, he still acted like he was. He was a father, a husband - and yet he had abandoned it all to protect them. And while Ginny was no longer upset about everything that happened, she still worried that he would do it again. She knew that he wasn't a great sleeper since returning there were times when he didn't come to bed, if at all. Or times when he got up early and disappeared through the house. It still freaked her out to wake up to an empty bed, especially now that he had been filling that spot empty for those months of absence. The warmth of him there, either just next to her or beneath her head with his arms wrapped around her, was something she was getting used to again. And each time it disappeared, she freaked for a moment. The moment she found him, though, that panic disappeared. And as he reached up, the warmth of his hand encasing her forearm and giving a squeeze, she smiled. 'Same. I think they're trying to talk about the Quidditch tournament coming up to get their mind off things.' She nodded her head, her chin rubbing against his hair as she did so. "It's probably the best idea. Fewer people panicking about the next attack, and focusing more on going to the tournament. Likely going to be a huge turn out because of it."MADE BY VEL OF GS

She nodded against the top of his head, saying that she agreed with the way the press was handling things. "Yeah... yeah, I guess. I just like to dive all the way into things so the distractions are... distracting," he explained slowly. "At least we'll be at the school again next semester," he sighed, folding up the paper and setting it down on the table. "I wish life was as easy as being a Quidditch player," he paused, shaking his head, eyes widening as he turned to look at her, "not that I'm saying that's an easy job, I'm just saying I wish I could enjoy a life like that, does that make sense? I swear I'm saying that I just... nevermind," he chuckled at himself for his babbling. Ginevra Molly Potter

My power's turned on starting right now I'll be strong I'll play my fight song And I don't really care if nobody else believes Ginny had always loved Quidditch, and while she didn't join the team at Hogwarts until later in her life, she had gone on to make a career in it. From what she had read after she lost her memory, she had made a name for herself in the industry until she stepped down after she had James. Instead, change to work at the Prophet and report on Quidditch. That had been what she was doing when she lost her memory, the dark wizards and witches taking them from her and leaving her in the dark about so much. It turned everything upside down and made losing Harry all the more painful, especially since she wasn't as close to her children as she had hoped. Those memories of raising them long since forgotten, straining their relationships. But it also left her with an itch for Quidditch again, which was why she had taken the job at Hogwarts. It wasn't Quidditch, but it was close. She nodded her head when he finished his thought and began folding the paper. 'I wish life was as easy as being a Quidditch player, not that I'm saying that's an easy job, I'm just saying I wish I could enjoy a life like that, does that make sense? I swear I'm saying that I just...nevermind,' Ginny laughed a little, "You're babbling," she started, a grin upon her face, "But yes, it does. Sometimes I miss playing Quidditch, sometimes I wish I could remember my time with the Harpies." She sighed, "You know, if teaching at Hogwarts isn't what you want...you could always play Quidditch one day...I'm sure there is a team out there looking for an amazing Seeker." MADE BY VEL OF GS
