Remaking Alice got me emotional. SO I wanted to start this fun thread because of ~emotions~ and also because of all of the zombies coming back from the dead right now. So let's talk about our first borns. Which character was your first you ever made on the site? Do you still play that character? What are some of your favorite moments with that character? How much have they changed since you first created them? Do you have any specific plans or plots you would love to see play out with them one day? If you don't still play them, why? OR how do you think you would play them now or how would they be reacting to the current state of the wizarding world? This is all for fun and it can be an interesting way to see how much you have changed over time with your roleplaying!

Indulge me I love to reminisce and suffer from nostalgia.



For me, Alice is my one true bb love. I unconsciously put a lot of myself into Alice when I first made her back in 2014 (Hufflepuff, fact checking know-it-all with a larger than life love for animals.) She was a quiet, bookish gal who kept to herself. In love with her best friend James Potter and closed off to meeting new people and friends. She hated a certain Ravenclaw who had the last name of a soda with a fire burning passion (SUZIE ) Over the 3.5(?) years I played her, she got over James, got her first kinda boyfriend (Carcer Hagrid ayyyyy). She traveled to the states with the Scamanders and saw unicorns, she had two pygmy puffs, rode Abraxans, and actually started to open up. She went into training for magizoology sometime around the time her dad got sick. I didn't play her for a long time (or anyone lmao @ life) but I am so excited to finally bring her back and get to write her again.

I'LL ANSWER

grey xavier slater is my first. He's 10 years (almost 11 in a few months) worth of Harry Potter rp'ing. My one true original character that's been with me all the way. I think the best part of the journey so far was finally having him graduate from Hogwarts, and then sort of wonder what I was going to do with him next. Not going to lie, it felt like having my own child graduate hahaha

There are only a few things I can say that I've worked on or done longer than having him down on paper, but watching my own writing evolve with whatever site he has been on is extremely fulfilling. I think it'll be hard to forget the day I sat down and wrote his very short and terrible history for the first time. He was a transfer from the American school well before Ilvermorny had a name and was originally a Ravenclaw. But because the site had too many Ravenclaws being sorted through the quiz we used, I was allowed to change him to Gryffindor. He fits there better tbh. For those wondering, I believe I wrote the original app on my Wii's web browser.

Going forward? I don't know. I like his current state of existence and the things he's done and will probably do. I'm glad I've had a great host of people take up the mantle of his siblings and effortlessly bring them to life as well, both here, there, and everywhere. So thank you to all of you.
