'Cause I feel like I can do anything when My head is spinning and my feet off the ground When I can't stop dancing like no one's around 12 JULY 2025 Peyton had decided to sign up for the Blishwick Blind Date again, after already having done it twice in the past. Jimmie had always told her against it, but it wasn't her fault that she found it fun. Sure, the past two dates hadn't turned into anything but friendships - but she was grateful for the experience. She didn't do this looking for love; she did it looking for adventures and a moment to come out of her shell. Plus, with everything that was happening in the world right now - from the firework explosion and Hag's Fever - she wasn't sure what to do with herself. When she got the note in the mail that matched her with someone and was sending her to Hayward Gallery - she was excited. She had never been, though she had always thought it would be fun. Thus, dressing up in a cute sundress, placing her feet into sandals, she left the house. Her long blonde waves were pulled up in a high ponytail that slapped at her neck as she walked. It wasn't long before she arrived, the letter in her hand as she read it over and over again. She hoped that it would clue in whoever her date was, this Ryuunosuke, that she was the person they were looking for. And the fact that she was standing outside of the entrance, now that would help...as long as the person wasn't already waiting inside. MADE BY VEL OF GS

Ryuunosuke was not here by choice. He wasn't in this country by his choice, and he had not signed up for some stupid blind date. His current guardian Mei had done all that "for him" The main idea was that he may meet some blue blood wizard in the area and help with an alliance for the family. That's what she said. But he knew the truth. She wanted to get him out of the house. The real reason came to light as he begrudgingly got ready "Tell me what you did to your hair, and how..." She said in their native Japanese with a fox like smile "I can get you out of this." He glared at her. Knowing not to talk back he looked in a mirror with his white hair standing out. Along side that, the British Isles seemed to be going crazy. Though he didn't want to do it, his resolve was set. He changed his hair for a reason, and he wasn't going to back down. Not for expulsion, and certainly not for a date.
He looked at the note that he had received. The date was with a girl named Peyton Bainbridge, and it was meant to be at some gallery. That wasn't a bad thing. There had been some talk about him staying in the area and transferring schools, but that was a worse case. The family would not have another disgraceful expulsion in their family. Not if they could help it.
The boy was escorted to the gallery by the old witch and her last words, in Japanese, to him were "Be have, and come right back when you are done. No lingering" He nodded, and bowed respectfully to her. Walking up the steps he spotted a fair haired girl with a familiar looking envelope. He walked up and gave a polite bow. "I am Ryuunosuke Kameyama, I believe that you are the one that I am here to meet."

'Cause I feel like I can do anything when My head is spinning and my feet off the ground When I can't stop dancing like no one's around Peyton wasn't sure what to expect with this date. The past two times she had done it, she had fun. Sure, her first crush on her first blind date was still fresh in her mind - but nothing came of it. And Jacob was just a nice and funny guy. Was there a chance this one could be a dud? Would she get lucky for the third time? Worry filled her being, but she had to stay positive. She bit her bottom lip, rocking on her heels. A few minutes later, someone approached her, giving her a bow. She looked around, surprise on her face as before he spoke his name, and her attention flew back towards him. His name matched the one in the letter. A smile fluttered on her face, "I'm Peyton Bainbridge. It's nice to meet you, Ryuunosuke," she said, stumbling over his name a little bit. She bit her bottom lip. Great Peyton, way to start this...mess up his name, why don't you? She thought to herself. MADE BY VEL OF GS

Ryuu wasn't nerveless about the so called "date". it wasn't something that he necessarily wanted to do. He had been singed up by his guardian, then escorted to the place at the time of the date. As if he would ditch. Honestly, his plan was to ditch. But being taken to the location by the ever watchful old woman, he had lost that opportunity.
Without a choice, he found the girl and introduced himself. He was hoping that he had the wrong girl, but that didn't seem likely. He might as well make the best of things. She then introduced herself, it seemed to be the same girl that he was meant to meet here. He game a smile as she attempted his name. It wasn't bad, but she obviously struggled with it. "You can just call my Ryuu" He realized that his name could be hard for those that couldn't speak his language.
Feeling the eyes of the old Japanese woman, drilling into the back of his head, the boy motioned towards the door. "Shall we"

'Cause I feel like I can do anything when My head is spinning and my feet off the ground When I can't stop dancing like no one's around Since she was able to, Peyton has signed herself up for the Blishwick Match Making Blind Date, something that each time she did, Jimmie had something negative to say. She knew that Jimmie didn't quite enjoy what her father did, let alone that people participated. The first time she had done it, Jimmie gave her an ear full about it. Of course, she had gotten something out of it - she had talked to Daniel and told him that she had someone that wanted to interview him. The second time, she hadn't mentioned it to the blonde, and she didn't have to hear the same conversation. She loved Jimmie, she was one of her best friends, but it seemed she didn't understand that Peyton did this for fun. If a relationship came out of it, amazing; if not, it meant she knew someone new. Each time, she still got nervous. Butterflies that swelled within her stomach, fluttering against her rib cage as she waited for the male that would appear. And each time it had been someone friendly and quite enjoyable. The moment that Ryuunosuke, she felt as if he didn't want to be here. But she swallowed that feeling; she was going to attempt to have fun. But the moment she butchered her name, she wanted to run and hide and forget about the date altogether. Thankfully, he smiled at her struggling of his name, quickly giving her a nickname that she was welcome to use. She nodded her head, "How far off was I?" she questioned, quite curious how badly she had said his name. He motioned towards the door, asking if they should head inside, and she nodded her head. "Let's go," she said, a smile upon her pale pink lips, tucking a strand of blonde locks behind a pale ear. "Have you ever been here before?" she questioned, both of them starting off to the door. She, of course, had never been - but it would be interesting if he had. @ryuu ● i am sorry for the wait! MADE BY VEL OF GS

Ryuu understood that those in the area seemed to struggle with saying his full name. He still had issues with people calling him by his first name, and not his last name. But it was the culture here, and if he never mentioned his last name, maybe no one would know. His family was a highbrow wizarding family in Japan. There had to be someone here who knew of them , and who had dealings with them.
"How far off was I?" He shrugged. She hadn't been exactly right. But he new his manners, and didn't want to start things off on too much of a sour note. "Not that bad. It's pronounced ree-oo-no-skay" He said it a little slower, pronouncing each syllable.
She agreed with him, ready to go in. With a small amount of relief, as they headed towards the door. "Have you ever been here before?" Ryuu shook his head. "No, have you" This would be a good place for him to visit, but his family discouraged his art, so Mea-Sama was careful not to let him go. She saw it as a reward, and she didn't want to reward his actions. The date was a special instance.
