September 1, 2025 Monday Weekly wasn't sure how it was September already, though she supposed that she and her siblings—of all people—would have been the ones to keep track of the calendar. Somehow, they had managed to get everything together to return to Hogwarts for another school year and made it on the train. That was impressive, knowing them and the barrage of care packages they had received from their parents over the summer. Trying not to attract too much attention at King's Cross was a little bit harder, and Monday had been glad to reach Platform Nine and Three-Quarters, where she was able to use magic to handle her trunk with greater ease.
Finding a spot on the train for all eight of them would be a challenge, so Monday wasn't too concerned with trying. Six people could fit in a compartment comfortably, so—while they might have been able to squeeze in—it wouldn't make for a pleasant journey. Instead, she boarded the train and, to her surprise, found an available window seat at the end of the carriage.
She levitated her trunk up to the luggage rack above the place that she was claiming as her own, relieved that it didn't come crashing back down upon her head, and then retrieved her cellphone from her backpack once she was seated. Quickly, she sent a text to her siblings to let them know where she was: I'm at the end of the second car. Still lots of space here.

Chase, on the other hand, had been in disbelief at how long it had taken to get to September. For some, summer had gone quickly. For him, it had dragged on and on as he had been stuck in the British Isles. His twin brother had chosen to sit with a few new Hogwarts friends and there hadn't been room for him. Typical Blake. But Chase would be dragging his things, trying to find a nice spot. "Is this space taken? Or...reserved for anyone? I can go somewhere else if that's the case." He'd been pushed out of more than a few compartments, as people either reserved seats for friends or family, or they were already full to the gills with people. He had a sheepish and nervous look. "Hectic day, by the way, innit?" He had a nervous chuckle. Back-to-school was ALWAYS a little nervewracking to him, especially now that he was going to Hogwarts instead of Ilvermorny for the time. monday meadow weekly

September 1, 2025 Another student, whom Monday recognized as one of the other Ilvermorny transfer students in the year below her, entered the compartment soon after she had sat down. One of the perks of having so many siblings was that she knew or knew of most of the school in some way, shape, or form. The boy in question, Chase, had been in Thunderbird with her.
"Is this space taken?" he asked her, Or… reserved for anyone? I can go somewhere else if that's the case."
Okay, so it was true that the Weeklys tended to move in packs; even Monday couldn't deny that. And they probably were intimidating to some people for various reasons, but being a bunch of mostly adopted and mostly "half-breed" teenagers with famous parents did that to some people… Weird though they (and their names) might have been, it was their reality.
Monday shook her head and smiled. "No, you're good," she assured him. If any of her siblings happened to call dibs on anything in response to her text, she'd cross that bridge when she got to it.
"Hectic day, by the way, innit?"
"Oh, totally," she agreed, probably sounding like something of a "Valley girl" with her emphasis on the "totally". As one of the eldest, she'd had to make sure that they had everything they needed. As much as their mother loved sending care packages, there wasn't too much that she could do from California if they happened to leave anything behind in their London penthouse before catching the train to school. And that was without mentioning that Monday hadn't really anticipated finishing her school career at Hogwarts. A year prior, she would have been sure that they would only be at Hogwarts for the one year.
Obviously, that hadn't happened. They were on the train to Hogwarts again, one year later. "This is the easy part now," Monday commented, since all they could really do was sit back and enjoy the ride on the Hogwarts Express.
