September 3rd, London
It had been weeks upon weeks of preparation. Perhaps even months. She'd worked alone for the most part and was certain nobody could actually figure out what had really happened by the time she was done. A sighting here and there, using muggle technology and magic to grow a few limbs with her own DNA to leave at the scene and making sure none of the scientists could retell the tale of how they'd worked with her, or even seen her. So with a bag with several limbs with her own DNA she had walked through London.
It was only a matter of time. She had everything, including a bomb with just enough of a delay mechanism to ensure nobody would see her escape and to ensure it would make sense that she was dead. It was a double layer, first a fiery death to consume her body (except for the fire resistance potion she'd had) before exploding with enough force to severely damage a building.
To ensure the reliable witnesses she had gathered some aurors and law enforcement that would no doubt try to take her in and help her plan without knowing it. Everything was ready and had gone according to plan so far.
Lúthien grinned at the law enforcement officials as they stormed forwards, wands out despite being in a muggle area. They were intent to bring her in without too much damage. Lúthien cackled like a mad woman as she pulled the bomb out of the canvas bag. She saw their faces tense and their faces grow pale. "I'M NEVER GOING BACK!" She yelled and finished her plan.
One fiery boom and a few hours later Lúthien opened the evening prophet to find her own picture along with a news article that declared her dead. It had almost been a little too easy. At least she could finally start over now. She smiled as she looked in the mirror, seeing her new face. It wasn't the same, but it was the best she could do. "Come on Mel." She said to her reflection as she grabbed her purse. "Time to find a job."
