Let 'em sell what they are sellin', there are no buyers here So gather all the rebels now, we'll rebel-rouse and sing aloud We don't care 1 AUGUST 2025 Isabel was excited for this date, more so than she ever was for her ex-boyfriend's dates. Was she still bitter about the way he broke up with her? Yes! Was she still embarrassed by the way she acted during that Valentine's Day Ball? Of course. But that didn't stop her from signing up for that Blishwick thing and hoping for the best. When she got her letter in the mail, telling her what she was doing and where to meet, she was excited. To say she didn't plan a nice outfit for a ghost tour was the year's understatement. She went with fancy-casual, and she was ready. When she arrived at the location, she waited. She had a ticket in hand, but slowly, the meeting time started to pass. And the tour guide told them that they would be leaving in ten minutes, so it was time to head onto the bus. She swallowed, looking around. Did she honestly just get stood up? Her...Isabel Oliveria was stood up on a blind date? @madeleine ● i know, i know, took me forever to start this blishwick date stand-up thread. MADE BY VEL OF GS

▲ Staying out of her family’s new, tiny, rental flat as much as possible was literally all Maddie could do these days. It was absolutely suffocating being within a few rooms from them at all times. All they did lately was talk on the phone with their banks and lawyers, trying to figure out a way to recover everything they had lost. How they thought that was productive was beyond her, because the buildings that were home to the hotel chain were already being gobbled up by muggle companies. She tried not to pay attention to it anymore, and every time she was within ear shot of it, it pissed her off even more. Escaping that hellhole meant she had to bring her brother’s dog, Charles, with her. He was a giant of a Great Dane and unbelievably well trained, mostly Émile’s doing. In actuality, it was usually Charles walking her, taking her for strolls down long streets and clearing a path the entire way. Today was no different, and the Great Dane had taken her on a route she had never been on before, leading her to a more touristy side of London that she normally would have steered clear of. Her dog’s commanding walk drew a few children running up to try and pet him, but she shot looks that could kill before they even had the chance to ask. She was not in the mood to stop or do the baby talk thing with little kids. They annoyed her. Turning a corner, Maddie almost turned around because she saw a good portion of the sidewalk blocked off by a line of people getting onto a tour bus labeled ‘Ghost Tours’. She paused for a moment to marvel at it, chuckling a little at the fact that the muggles heads would roll if they ever had a chance to see a real ghost. While Beauxbatons didn’t have any, Hogwarts certainly showed her that some individuals had a hard time separating from the mortal plane. Before she could fully leave though, one of the tourists standing away from the line caught her eye. It was the girl that had messed up her shoes during Halloween the previous year! Maddie had never bothered learning her name, because why would she, but she still remembered her face. What was interesting about this though, was the fact that she couldn’t come up with a reason why the other girl would want to do a muggle ghost tour. They weren’t likely to see the real thing anyways, and it was only a month until Hogwarts started again. Still, Maddie was interested in antagonizing her a bit more, mostly because she was bored, and also because the girl wouldn’t be able to do anything with Charles there. While he was ultimately a giant softy, she could get him to bark on command. And he wasn’t a pretty barker. “Love the real thing so much that you can’t wait?” Maddie asked as she walked up to the girl. On closer inspection, the way she was dressed sort of gave it away. “Wow. Riding in a bus with sweaty tourists will be real romantic. Where’s the lucky winner?” She looked around but didn’t see anyone in particular that wasn’t the two of them or the people in line. If they were already getting on the bus and she was standing a bit away, did that mean…? Maddie let the grin on her face grow as she looked back at the girl, toying with the idea on what she wanted to taunt her about next. MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOX 2.0
