October 2025 As much as visiting Auguste's home in France had made her homesick for her own country and her parents, Camila knew that she had a job to do. She had never imagined that she would be in Britain after so long, but she had learned to make the most of it. Her team was still finalizing the European tour dates that had been cancelled because of Hag's Fever—both her own illness and the travel restrictions—which was its own process and out of her hands completely, but she had been asked to the Wizarding Wireless Network's headquarters in Hogsmeade to host a "takeover" for one of their programs. It was different from the usual interview (and honestly much more enjoyable), but it got surprisingly tiring to essentially curate a playlist of songs for the radio.
As she exited the booth after she had gone off the air, she could hear conversation coming from another part of the studio and recognized the voices immediately. One was Auguste, without a doubt, and… Was that Brandon? It couldn't have been. She had been spending plenty of time with Auguste and Sienna, but it had been so long since she'd seen him. Camila smiled, her high heels clicking against the floor as she walked towards the source of their voices. It wasn't like it was out of the question for two other musicians to be at the headquarters of the primary radio broadcaster in wizarding Britain, but it was great timing.

Working here with Gus again was a great opportunity. The song they created last spring was a hit and the public was begging for more. At least, that's how Brandon's manager explained the situation when he asked Brandon to write another song with the other musician. Brandon readily agreed. He'd enjoyed the chance to work with Gus and felt like the two were developing a good friendship. Besides, it was very easy to laugh around the other man, who seemed to enjoy trying to make Brandon laugh ... when they weren't working on a song, of course. So it was that today the pair were working together today. Actually, at the moment they were both laughing. They had just tried a new arrangement for a song and, for the first time ever that they worked together, it turned out horribly wrong. Brandon wasn't sure what exactly caused the problem, but it was so bad that he stopped in the middle of the song, busting out in laughter. He couldn't help it. He wasn't surprised when he heard the clicking of heels on the floor. Surely someone was curious about what was going on over here, though most people who worked nearby knew that Gus and Brandon could be loud when they wanted to be. Brandon looked up with a smile, pleasantly surprised when he saw Camila approaching. He hadn't seen her for a while. He waved to here. "Here, come ... join us," he invited amidst chuckles. He still wasn't in complete control of himself. camila calderón @auguste (OOC: Sorry it took me so long to answer. I'll be better from now on!)

Gus just couldn't figure it out. How on earth did this one amalgamation come to life? It was like everything sounded like it was designed to make people suffer. Oddly enough, Gus found that to be incredibly appealing and he'd been recording the entire horrid abberation, even as the fit of laughter from them both drowned out the actual music that had started the fit of laughter in the first place. This was nothing. It was messy, discordant and lacked any kind of structure yet Gus couldn't help but love every second of it. Gus wiped the tears from his eyes and looked at Brandon with a bemused smile on his face. How on earth had they managed this. "I'm saving this forever. If I ever need to torture somebody all I need is earphones." He joked, chuckling slightly as he leaned back in his chair, purposefully coaxing a horribly off key note out of his guitar. The poor intrument. In their brief moment of silence between the fits of laughter that seemed to be most prominent in the session of today they both heard the clicking of heels and Gus was surprised when he noticed Camila walk in. Well, he and Brandon had been excessively loud so it made sense she came over to say hello. He instantly stood up, spreading his arms and walking over to give her a hug as greeting. As was customary to the French he did 3 (rather than 2) kisses on her cheeks before giving her a big smile. "Bonjour mon ami!" He said cheerfully as he walked back to his guitar. "If you want to hear something absolutely horrible, we managed to coax a true abberation out of our instruments." He grinned at Brandon and winked. Though in all honesty, there were few things that brought Gus more joy than working on music with other people. There was a magic in sharing music and the experience in creating it that he hadn't found anywhere else. The only feeling that got close were the sweet and intimate moments he experienced with Sienna, although he understood that as easily as this. He loved Sienna, more than anybody else. He loved making and sharing music almost as much as Sienna. Combine making and sharing music and it was a match equal to his love for Sienna. In short, he simply loved sharing the process of creating music. Brandon invited her to join them and Gus nodded. "Yes please do join. It would be nice to just play around with some music for a bit. It's high time for some fun again." He'd been a little bit stressed for a few days due to his manager kind of chasing his ass around about what he considered inactivity. Gus called it being sick. The truth was that he just hadn't shared any of his work lately, having hit a bit of a rough patch in terms of writing. Things had been good for him, which he wasn't really used to. Plus meeting his brother again had severely thrown him off to the point half of his work felt discordant. It felt like the music they had made, even if it sounded much better than that. He wanted to be angry but he felt pressured to forgive, mostly by his father. The frustration wasn't doing him much good. Maybe this would help take his mind of things. @brandon camila calderón

October 2025 It was a good sign, thought Camila, that half of what she heard coming from Auguste and Brandon's direction was laughter. They obviously found something funny, or they were simply in a good mood, and she was happy to hear it. Both of them were pleasant to be around regardless, and getting to see them while technically "at work" was fantastic.
When she rounded a corner and saw her two fellow musicians, Camila beamed a little more, trying to figure out what it was that the guys had found so humorous before she'd gotten there. Auguste immediately stood up and went to hug her, and Camila almost wondered if he might pull her off her feet accidentally. He exchanged cheek kisses with her in greeting, as was also familiar to her as a part of her own culture, though the French pattern wasn't exactly the same as in Argentina. Fortunately, she didn't topple over in her high heels, and Auguste's next words clarified what had been so funny between him and Brandon. "If you want to hear something absolutely horrible, we managed to coax a true aberration out of our instruments," he offered.
Just because of how much laughter she had heard, Camila was tempted. Brandon had also waved to her and invited her to join them, so she knew that it hadn't been because they had heard her radio broadcast and were making fun of it. Neither of them were like that, though.
"Yes," Auguste agreed with Brandon, "please do join. It would be nice to just play around with some music for a bit. It's high time for some fun again."
It would be fun, Camila felt, and it wasn't as though she had disappeared from the premises if anyone on her team needed her for something else. She had just stepped away, and she wasn't needed in the booth for anything more. She looked between the two other musicians, still smiling in disbelief that both of them were there.
Camila pulled up a chair and sat down, leaning forward in interest. She kept a straight face for hardly any time at all, wondering just how bad whatever they had come up with truly was, and ended up giggling before she had heard a single note of it. They would have time to catch up with one another—especially her and Brandon, whom she hadn't seen in ages—but first… "New music?" She watched Brandon and Auguste. They were both extremely talented. How bad could it have been?
