Ivy had been blind for many years and she was more than used to not being able to see. Magic helped her nagivate the world as if she could see. When she needed to find things, she took on her snake form and her brain could see more than ordinary. She could use her sense of taste to find things. It had taken a bit of getting used to the first time she'd transformed but by now it was almost easier to be a snake than to be a person. Half the time that is. Ivy sighed in annoyance as one of the cult member babbled on uselessly. She already knew they brought her a new sacrfice and wanted to know the next ritual.
It took her a few moments as she transformed into a snake to taste a future (sometimes seeing was easier as a snake for her) in which this man was dead. She ran through a few options and cursed mentally as she transformed back. "Bring him over to the valley. He can't be sacrificed the usual way. He's too high profile." She said, now fully irritated they had wasted her time. "You are to set him free with his memories erased. We'll try to find a less obvious way for him to be killed so your effort wasn't a complete waste of time."
She didn't mention she was about to take that step into her own mouth. She went to the clearing and soon enough heard the man stumble around in confusion, his feet making noisy impacts on the ground. She slithered closer, making sure to locate him and bite him, allowing her venom to sink into his body. It wouldn't take too long before he died. It was always better not to leave any dead ends. As she slithered away from the scene again she felt content. The venom always was such a nice taste and knowing there was one less muggle to destroy her precious earth was worth the sacrifice of sinking her fangs into his disgusting form.
