PG-13 October 2025
Claudia was entering into her last year of Hogwarts, and that meant NEWTs. And since she had always just been a dancer and didn’t ever care about her test results and grades before - she now found herself in a bad position going into these exams. She had no fallback career. She was always going to be a dancer. But a muggle never recovered from an injury like hers. Not the same, anyway. No company would want to risk such a fragile bone, even if it had been magically healed. She could go to WADA, that was always a decent idea. But she knew her mother wanted her to do something more practical. So they made an agreement. If Claudia showed effort and actually tried on her exams, her mother would support her in whatever path she decided on. Which meant she’d pay for WADA, if Claudia wanted. So long as she passed some of her tests.
So she enlisted the help of an acquaintance. She barely knew the boy, but she knew he was smart. That was really all that mattered. Their agreement was… unconventional, but Claudia liked to use what she did have to her advantage, and she couldn’t imagine Nate would care. Plus it wasn’t as if word was going to get to him about it anyway. So she carried her books into the Library on a brisk, October evening and sat down at one of the smaller tables by one of the large windows, where she waited for her tutor.

((I AM SOOOO SORRY! I totes forgot about this for a while there))
Argentum had found that toturing was something he was pretty good at. Despite his lack of social skills (at least according to his sister) he actually managed to master the material of years beyond his own, although not to the level of NEWT performances he himself could be satisfied with. He understood it, but wasn't always perfectly capable of performing it yet. His newfound ability of learning faster due to sharing his brain with his sister had certainly proved useful, even more so in being able to learn more at a faster rate than before. It was peculiar that he now was helping out some people above his own grade to get up to speed. He knew he was clever and he'd managed to arrange a mutually beneficial situation. It was interesting really, the things one was able to trade of. He smiled ever so slightly to himself as he entered the library.
He walked over to the usual table he met the girl he was helping out and nodded slightly. "Which subject would you like to work on?" He asked in a friendly tone. He was in a good mood today, which always had him a lot mot malleable. He had noticed his mood always improved significantly after a nice little flight around the school. Nobody really noticed because one more owl never stood out at Hogwarts. It was all the freedom he had never known he needed and no fear of falling because a broom might mess up. When able to trust his own body it was a lot easier to fly. It only got annoying when students expected him to send letters. That really wasn't going to happen. Miss that much school? No way. He wouldn't even know where to start!

Silver walked in and asked what subject she wanted to work on today. She shrugged but then replied. “Potions I suppose.” there really wasn’t a subject that she didn’t need some sort of help in. Maybe charms, she was fairly gifted when it came to usual charms and wand magic, it was the academic magic she wasn’t gifted in. The magic that didn’t come instinctively. How was she supposed to remember to stir a certain direction for a potion or add a certain ingredient after the other, it was so tedious. But she supposed one could say the same thing about Ballet and yet she was a professional at that. She knew it came with practice, but she didn’t have the patience to practice.
