To say that the Wildspear twins lived a charmed life was an understatement. Their mother had taken a fast track to creating her fashion empire. While the woman tried to work at home as much as she could, as things took off, it became much less possible. She loved her boys deeply, but it was hard to get all the work done that she needed to do, and instruct so many people with out being in the office. But with Orion's medical condition, she feared leaving the boys home alone. Each nanny was required to be apart of the wizarding world. Many being witches or wizards, but the woman had tried the occasional squib, just to see if that would work out better. It did not.
Orion pondered the chart that the boys had hidden in their closet. While their mother was aware of their acting up, and how fast each employee seemed to be leaving. The woman just figured that she needed to find the right person, and they still couldn't be left home alone. What if Orion got hurt and no one else was there? She knew Ocean helped to take care of the boy, but it was best to have someone who had some medical expertise. Ocean was cleaning up from their latest prank, which had sent the latest attempt of nanny running for the country. This penthouse was their world. It was their domain. Their latest victims had stayed later than the last couple combined. The chart showing the clear incline. Sitting on the floor the young boy pondered. As the wheels turned in his head about what they did wrong, what they could have done differently, and what they their nanny would be welcomed to.
He knew that there were many things that were against them on this endeavor. Adults could freely use magic, which they would simply have to avoid, or at least try. Perhaps there was a way that they could coax the nanny away from their wand. The boy also knew that their mother warned them, and even asked if they felt like they could handle her boys. They always felt confident. But they were always wrong. Many made the first mistake, by assuming that they were in charge. No, once their mother left, the boys were in control. Planning for the next day wasn't an easy task. Especially when Orion didn't know what they would be put up against. Some nannies tried to control them, and demand respect - which didn't work - and others foolishly tried to be their friend - which also didn't work. Orion knew the truth. None of them were their friends. Each nanny was the warden and the boys were the prisoners. They only succeeded when the warden ran away, preferably screaming.
Body switching was a favorite of the boys. As long as they could make sure that the nanny only had one boy in sight, the other could be doing just about anything. The question was, what? When a new one started, their mother, Andromeda, always made sure that she introduced both boys to start off with. The woman had also learned and ensured that both were in sight during the introduction. She had made that mistake only once. The boys had convinced that nanny, not only that there was just one boy in the penthouse, but that their mother was certifiably insane and was convinced that she had twins, while there was in fact one, and only the woman could see two.
Now that had been one of their best ideas. Unfortunately something like that could only be pulled once. Each new nanny presented new opportunities. It was much to hard to plan something without knowing what they were getting into. Plans could be made, but nothing should be put into play until they had met the newest player in their game. Orion heard the water stop, knowing that his brother was done cleaning up, the boy stood up and stretched. They could think of ideas later, but now that the other him would soon be joining him, it was time for bed.
