While there hadn't really been much of a reply from Bjorn after her last letter, she'd gotten all the reply she'd needed. It was a little peculiar, but she guessed it was just a very convenient coincidence that his captain had decided to return and make port so soon after her letter. She knew Cosmos has tried to be faster and the owl was very talented but it hadn't been what she'd expected to get back. Just a very short note with nothing but a date, time and location. She guessed that was their next docking place, although she was a little surprised it was Hy-brasil rather than a regular harbour but she'd take what was available. She had rushed out of bed that morning and spent quite literally hours getting ready to see him again. She wanted to impress him. To look so stunning that he'd forget just about everything else and only have eyes for her. She just hoped his captain wouldn't ask too much of him in terms of docking. It could be quite the procedure of course but if she had to wait a little longer it wouldn't be a disaster. She knew that sailors led a very different life. Her family had encountered plenty of them on their vacations while she was young. As a child they'd treated her very different than the last few years and the other kind of attention, while flattering, had taken a little getting used to. Now, she couldn't wait to see Bjorn. She paced the docks rather impatiently, her eyes almost glued to the skyline. She'd been early by hours. She'd managed to sit down for a short while to have a drink but she was back to pacing. At long last she spotted a speck on the horizon and before long she'd recognised the ship. Her heart was beating hard in her chest as she longed to just apparate on the ship to find Bjorn. It was rude and dangerous and probably not quite legal if the ship wasn't protected against it to begin with. Those things were reason enough not to do so, but it felt like every second took a lifetime to pass. After a while the ship actually arrived and her eyes were searching the deck for the man that had completely captured her heart and mind of late. She had quickly checked her appearance and while she looked a little windswept it was nothing that should count against her. It took a while for her to find him but when she did it felt like her heart stood stil. There he was, just as promised. She smiled broadly, happy he was finally there and waved at him enthusiastically. Surely he'd seen her, since he knew she'd be there waiting for him. Now all he had to do was get down here. Hopefully the Captain wouldn't mind if he greeted her before finishing his duties to the ship. She wanted to be patient of course, but her patience had ran out hours ago. @bjorn

Bjorn's crew probably thought him insane. It had been late into the evening when that owl had pecked at his cabin window. He'd let the now familiar creature in, unable to help the flutter in his chest. A letter from Deva. It had become one of his greatest desires, to read her sweet words. He gently pet the bird's chest as he carefully tore the letter open (for he wanted to keep it) and began to read.
While there were many sweet nothings written on the paper, one thing stood out to him. Burned out. Sent home crying. And asking when he would be back. While he would have loved to take the time to respond in great length, he had something else in mind. Immediately he scrawled out a very short response, which only really included a date, time and location. Somewhere he knew they could get. Then, sent the owl on it's way. No, he didn't have time to waste on more sweet words when he had to make sure he got there in time.
Then, he left his cabin, pounding on doors as he passed and yelling at his crew to get up. He had a deadline to meet.
Two days later and he'd made it. His crew was angry, frustrated, and very confused, but they'd listened to him. As they approached Hy-Brasil the flying ship slowly dipped until it hit the water's surface, finishing it's approach by sea instead of air and docking. Bjorn stood up on deck, arms crossed. He'd cleaned up his beard and actually fixed his hair a bit, looking much more presentable then his usual rugged self. He tried to look interested in waht his crew was doing as they started the process of properly docking, but he couldn't help but let his gaze wander, scanning the docks. Had she come? There was a small fear that she would stand him up, not showing up, and making him look foolish in front of the crew. But... as he scanned those fears were put to rest. He moved without thinking, only one desire on his mind. The crew had just dropped the ramp, still working on securing it, but Bjorn didn't care. There were many protests as he walked across it, asking what his rush was, but he didn't hear them. His feet hit the dock and carried him swiftly to the beautiful dark haired beauty.
Bjorn didn't say anything to her, for now was not the time for sweet words. He reached for her, his arm snaking around her waist to pull her close while his other hand brushed her hair from her face... before he kissed her. Like he'd been so desperate too since those letters started. God, this woman had been driving him mad for weeks. And now here she was. In his arms.

While his coworkers were still putting down the ramp she already spotted her sailer rushing towards her. It felt like every step he took make her heart grow fonder and her smile increase in joy and delight. He looked straight out of a dream, well taken care of despite his time at sea. Had he been trying to look nice for her? The idea was there and it made her heart sore. Still she could see that his crew mates didn't really appreciate the fact he rampaged past them long before they managed to actually secure the ramp. She couldn't care less this time, as it brought him closer to her.
Then everything seemed to slow down as he closed the distance between them, wrapping one arm around her while the other brushed the hair from her face. She looked at him and was convinced beyond a doubt he'd gotten even more attractive in their time apart. She wanted him, so badly. It was almost like she could see her own desires reflected in his eyes for just a moment before they both found something better to do. He kissed her and she responded instantly and without any thought or hesitation. She'd been longing for this moment for weeks now and was happy that fate had brought him to the harbour. She didn't know how she'd been so lucky that their captain had chosen a course that brought him back to her so soon but she was overjoyed nonetheless. She leaned into the kiss, closing what little distance was left between them as she wrapped her arms around his neck. She was never going to let him go again. Or well, she was, of course, but not any time soon. Last time he'd left her wanting more and she fully intended to make sure that this time it'd be the other way around. She'd leave him addicted to the time spent in her company so he'd always want to come back to her. That was the plan.
After a while she regained her mind, just a little bit and broke the kiss rather regretfully. Who needed to breathe? Well, unfortunately she did. While fainting in his arms wasn't the worst possible outcome for the day she knew that free spirits ought not to be landlocked so she glanced over his shoulder at the ship. "Shouldn't you be helping your crewmates out? I don't want the captain to get mad and fire you or anything." She said, although her words were spoken with an undertone that made it very clear that she much preffered to stay in his arms. It was a far better place to be. She had a small gift for him back at her apartment but she figured it'd be more fun to give it to him at another point in time. Right now he was arriving and they had that on their minds. If the docking was over they could hopefully scurry off and leave the crew to drink while they entertained each other....

Bjorn really didn't care of what his crew, or sister, would think of his current actions. He'd tunnel visioned. Just like she consumed his thoughts, she'd now consumed his actions. Reason be damned. But it was a beautiful reality. After weeks of exchanging letters, she was here. Nothing between them and those sweet promises in those letters. Bjorn was trying to be a gentleman to her, to actually be respectable and courteous for once in his life but this woman would make it damn hard. Self control wasn't something sailors were known for. But Bjorn was more then just a sailor. He was also a pirate (though Deva didn't know that detail quite yet). Pirates had even less self control.
The kiss was like a breath of fresh air after almost drowning. A sweet, intoxicating, life giving kiss. It must be true, time did make the heart grow fonder. His free hand moved to the back of her neck, holding her close as she leaned into the kiss. Well, if she kissed him like this every time, he was doomed to sink into whatever this was between them. Happily so.
Behind them, there was quite a bit of noise coming from the ship, but Bjorn either didn't care, or didn't even hear it. Most likely the latter, as he was thoroughly intoxicated by this woman's presence. She was the one to break it, much to his annoyance. He didn't let her pull too far away though, his arm tightening around her waist just in case she tried to escape. No, his arms had been empty of her for too long, he wasn't ready to let her escape again. "They'll be fine," he responded slowly. "Any work can wait until after I've finished greeting the most beautiful woman in the world." He moved his hand from the back of her neck and lightly touched her cheek, his eyes moving almost desperately from her eyes, her lips, her hair, as if trying to take in every last detail.
The commotion was getting a bit louder, and it was clear the crew was calling for the "captain". Curiously, those shouts of "captain" were aimed in their direction. Now that the kiss had been broken, their shouting was getting a tad annoying. Until there was a very clear "BJORN!" from what could only be a fiery female. Bjorn let out a slow breath. "One moment," he whispered to her, before finally, and quite reluctantly, he let her go, taking a step back and a few back towards the ship. Up on the deck was a blonde with a striking resemblance to Bjorn. "What?" Bjorn called back to his sister. She yelled something about the cargo. "Why are you asking me? Go to the customs office." That answer didn't seem to go over well, as the blonde woman huffed from the deck. Then finally yelled something about "running them ragged for a woman.". "Just get it done, Lotten." Though she looked reluctant still, his voice had come out quite commanding. The exact tone a... well, captain would take when giving orders.
Bjorn turned back to Deva. It wasn't completely lost to him that he'd lost his cover of being just a "simple sailor" due to his sister's antics. But he didn't care.

Deva rarely noticed the background noise at first. It was a faint buzzing that kissing Bjorn easily drowned out of her mind. Yet it grew louder and didn't seem keen on stopping. Deva started to notice and she didn't like it. Yet her attention was consumed by the kiss far more than the noise. Even after they broke the kiss she wanted to stay in his arms and leaned her head on his chest as she breathed slowly. She needed to regain her breath as he'd stolen nearly all of it away. It was in that silence between them that the background noises grew even more loud and insistent. Still she ignored it, as Bjorn clearly stated that he wasn't needed until he was done greeting her. Perhaps he'd made an agreement with his captain? Although that didn't explain the dissatisfaction of the rest of the crew.
It was while Bjorn was looking at her as if drinking in her appearance that she started to notice that it wasn't just random background noise. The crew was shouting for their captain but oddly enough seemed to aim the shouts towards them as a couple. Was the captain coming their way to break up the commotion? She hoped not. Yet as she attempted to sneak a glance past him she noticed no approach and it was clear the crew was watching them and not some stranger she hadn't met before. What was she missing? Was she really all that dense?
Well, clearly she was since a woman that looked a lot like Bjorn shouted his name. Slowly, some of the pieces of the puzzle started to appear and she was putting them together in her mind as he was otherwise occupied for just a moment. The woman looked like him, so much so that they could easily be related. She could just as easily have been his sister. He didn't worry about the captain getting angry for rushing off the ship in such a hurry. He had not been worried about showing her the captains room, despite clear concerns with privacy that most people would have had. How had she not figured it out sooner? Everything made more sense and as he yelled his commands at his sister she looked up at him with her eyes wide in slightly shock and some surprise. "You're the captain, aren't you?" She asked, her brow furrowing ever so slightly. She didn't object, obviously. She could imagine why he hadn't told her, since he had clearly been keen to have her interested in him for the right reasons. Or at least that was the easy path for her presumptions to take.
She bit her lip as she glanced back at this ship, a pensive look on her face as she considered the implications and the last words that his sister had yelled. Suddenly that seemed to be the only important detail about the entire exchange as she looked up at him. She was utterly stunned. "Wait.... is your sister suggesting that you came back early and rushed here... for me?" It sounded far too impossible. This didn't happen to her. This kind of fairy tale romance wasn't her story to live. Still, if he did come back for her..... She almost didn't even dare finish that thought as her heart was already threatening to explode in her chest. Whatever lies he'd told her didn't matter if that was true. If he was willing to rush back just because she wrote him a letter complaining she missed him then he was the kind of guy she could only ever have dreamt of meeting and he surely wouldn't have been interested in her. It was like seeing a possibility for a future she'd given up the hope of having. She blinked a few times and then bit her lip to hold back a smile. She'd first wait to see what he had to say. One step at a time....

Bjorn was a little frustrated that Lotten and his crew had been such a noisy lot, interfering with his time with her. He'd been gone several weeks. He didn't have time for their nonsense when he needed to show this woman how much he'd missed her! And yet, Lotten hadn't cared, neither had his crew. No doubt he'd never hear the end of this either, since he'd so blatantly kissed her right in front of them. Pirates really were a rowdy bunch. While they no doubt respected him, they wouldn't hesitate to torment him mercilessly for his actions. He'd just have to remind them that they didn't have beautiful women (or men, depending on their preferences) willingly waiting for them at the docks.
Though, Deva had not missed the blatant hints his crew had just thrown at her. He'd never necessarily deny he was captain... Though he'd never told her he was either. It had been one of his many half truths. But to be honest, he hadn't wanted her to treat him differently just because of his title and ownership of the ship she so desperately admired. So, when she did finally ask if he was the captain, Bjorn smiled and bowed dramatically. "At your service." It wasn't a straight forward "yes", but it was definitely an acknowledgement.
The way she bit her lip was cute, though she seemed a bit conflicted, looking at the ship, then back to him as if finally connecting the dots of what Lotten had said. Curse Lotten. Revealing that he'd basically forced the crew to get back to the nearest port as soon as possible. "Lotten suggests a great many things that she doesn't fully understand." He started, as if to deny his sisters words... But then he continued. "In this instance, however, she's being dramatic. I simply rearranged our schedule without her consent." Well... that was one way of saying 'Yes, I totally came back early for a girl'.

Well, that cleared things up. She wasn't sure how she felt for a moment. Concerned he hadn't told her the truth? Not really, as it hadn't really been all that relevant what his position was. She wouldn't have found him more or less attractive due to his position after all. It had been rather nice to get to know him as a simple sailor as it made it seem like there wasn't a lot of pressure on their interactions. It had been better so she could hardly blame him for allowing her to misunderstand without correcting her. It was all fine, although very unexpected. It changed nothing about what she felt. His bow and playful dramatics made her laugh a little, although she was certain she looked rather strange in the moment. This was unexpected, but it wasn't a bad thing.
He said his sister suggested a lot of things she didn't understand, which made Deva doubt for a moment, although his next words suggested she'd guessed right. She couldn't help but chuckle, placing one hand on his chest as she stood on tiptoes to give him a quick kiss. "Well you didn't have to do so." She said rather calmly. How passionate that was and rather impulsive. He'd kept his promise in his letter and had not ammended the plan at any point. It was beyond a doubt the most romantic thing anybody had ever done for her. To so fully commit to something as simple as seeing her on a bad day. She held back the tears that came as she felt herself overwhelmed by the emotion of the moment. She smiled again and sighed a little. "I'm so glad you did though." She said, pouring her feelings into that one sentence and hugging him tightly. He was going to change her world, it was clear to her now.
It was perhaps in that moment that she completely and utterly fell arse over teakettle in love with him. In that moment he could have asked her literally anything and she'd have done it for him. It was impossible not to be fond of somebody that did so much for her all just because of a letter that said she'd had a bad day. Well, maybe a little bit more than just a bad day but it felt like all the stress from the last months had evaporated for the moment. She broke the hug, but only so that she might reach up and kiss him again, even more intently than the first time. They needed to get a room because she did not feel like waiting to at the very least make out a little. If he changed his schedule to be with her she wanted to make the most of it. Who knew when he'd have to leave again? Even if he could make the plans she knew that she couldn't ask him to stay forever. It wasn't fair to him, nor to the ship and the crew.

Was the boy a bit dramatic? Yes. Was it worth it? A resounding, wholehearted YES. Her laugh had made it all worth it. Despite his crew potentially seeing his shenanigans. He pulled her in close after his theatrics. Now that the crew had been temporarily pacified with his orders he could take his time with the beauty. Forgive him for his need to have her close, but it had been a very lonely few weeks. Plus, he'd refused to have his way with her, the way he wanted, during that last meeting. There was several weeks of built up tension now raging against him. But, he could be patient. He'd waited weeks. What was a little more time? The kiss she gave him was sweet, but frustratingly short. "No, but I wanted to," he answered slowly. Damn his crew and sister right now. He'd needed to see her and the prospect of her being off work for a time, free, had been too tempting an offer. "If I hadn't, I fear you might have found someone else to occupy your new found time. Forgive me, but I can be a very selfish person."
He wrapped his arms around her, pulling her in close. God, had it ever felt this good to have a woman in your arms? He was a little annoyed when she pulled out of the embrace, but that annoyance melted away as she kissed him again. He leaned down, so she wouldn't have to try so hard to reach his lips. His height was a bit of a problem, but they'd make due. His hand moved to her waist, the other tangled in her hair. If she was going to keep kissing him like this, then he really wouldn't have much restraint or patience. Not like last time. This time though, he was the one to break the kiss, reluctantly, but broke it none the less. He reached up, softly kissing her forehead. "I missed you." God, how did you miss someone who was still so much of a mystery? And yet, he had. Desperately missed her. He had the urge to just take her back to the ship now, locking them in his cabin for hours on end. But he should wait, just a few minutes. Let the crew finish their work, before taking her on board. While there might be private places they could speak on the island, none would be more private then his own cabin. Those few minutes would be painfully unbearable, but necessary to avoid at least some of their gawking. At the very least, he should wait until Lotten left the ship to go talk to customs.

She laughed as he suggested she might have found somebody else to occupy her time. All things considered it was almost impossible. She'd tried to tell Rhys about Bjorn but he hadn't really reacted much and they'd gotten in a fight (as per usual) so they weren't even on speaking terms for the next couple of days at the very least. Not to mention that nobody else was in her mind the way he was. Nobody else made her fell quite that good by thinking of them alone. She'd spend the last few days, ever since she'd gotten his note from Cosmos, doing nothing but dreaming of this moment when she'd actually see him again. She hadn't forgotten a single moment of their first meeting and her heart still raced while her head swam. "Inconceivable." She said, almost as if shocked. "There is nobody else that can take over my heart, mind and soul so utterly and completely in so short a time as you have managed. You're special and I'd be a fool to trade your company for that of just any other man. No, I've long since made up my mind. It's you that I want and I'll wait weeks or months if needed to see you. I'll travel the world and meet you on the dock if you can't make it home soon enough for my heart to handle the separation." She was being dramatic, but it was only fair. He'd had his turn and now it was hers.
She could feel it in the tension between them. They both lacked something that he'd had a very large reserve of when they'd met. Patience. She wanted him desperately and all his promises from their first meeting were begging to be realised. Yet it wasn't all that simple as his entire crew was still busy on the ship and Hy-brasil wasn't exactly the place to sneak off to find a hotel room to occupy. They'd have to be patient. She felt as though she was keeping him from his work but he clearly didn't mind. His sister might but she by now had figured that he could handle her frustration if it was needed. So yes, she completely surrendered to his kisses, drowned herself in the feeling of his arms around her. She felt completely safe and at peace there. He said he missed her and her heart skipped another beat before fluttering like crazy. She smiled up at him, her face flushing slightly. "I missed you too. It was cruel of you to leave me hanging the way you did after we met, knowing how soon you'd be setting sail again." She complained with a playful pout. She wanted him to fix that situation and make true on the many promises of a good time he'd given her. If he could race home from the Baltic sea to see her then surely he could honour her request this time?
Yet time seemed terribly slow, crawling even, as she glanced past his shoulder at the sailors that were busy emptying the ship. She noticed that his sister Lotten was glancing in their direction but she was glad that she couldn't really read the expression of the woman that well yet. She had a feeling his sister wasn't so glad to see or meet her as her brother had been. She turned her attention back to him, smiling slightly as she did so. "So, any chance I'll actually get to have a look around your personal quarters this time Captain?" She asked him innocently. "I want to show you just how much I missed you but it might be slightly inappropriate to do so here.." She gave a wicked little grin before she burried her face in his chest, hugging him close again. She never wanted to let go of this feeling. She never wanted to let go of him. She'd never felt this happy around another person before and she didn't want to give up the feeling.

Was Bjorn being a touch dramatic? Perhaps. But could you blame him? She was extremely beautiful. SOmeone was bound to try and swoop in and scoop her up, given the chance. But no, she was his. For how long... how much... Yet to be decided. But for now, his. Those sweet words had been for him, and his for her. Her reassurance was nice, and it made him smile, reached out to touch her hair lightly, his cool gaze quite intense. "So you speak just as sweetly as you write. Perhaps I have no need for your letters if you're here to speak them instead." He normally wasn't this... romantic. His crew would probably be horrified if they could hear him, but thankfully none were near enough to overhear the conversation. "I fear falling for a man at sea can be quite lonely. Are you certain you're willing to wait for me when I'm called away?" While the loneliness of separate was always difficult, he'd seen how many of his crew suffered from heartache and homesickness. Now he'd felt it himself. Though it was all worth it. Now that she was here.
Bjorn's crew was really starting to get on his nerves. Hearing them work behind them. Normally, it didn't infuriate him. They were a good crew. He trusted each and every one of them. But in this moment they were in the way. Patience. Just until most were off the ship, or off to other duties. Just so there weren't so goddamn many of them between them and his cabin. He could almost feel Lotten's gaze on his back. No doubt she was confused, annoyed, and curious. She'd probably jump him as soon as Deva was gone, demanding answers. But he'd deal with that consequence later. "If I recall, you're the one that had to work, love." He'd had time to spare, time to act on those promises. Her work had been the one to explode, pulling her away so she couldn't see them depart. "But I plan on making good on all those promises today." He lowered his voice as he spoke, his gaze never breaking from her own.
He wrapped his arms a little tighter around her as she leaned into him, her face against his chest. He chuckled. "Ah, I see. You're here for my cabin. I knew there was a catch." He teased. He turned his head as he held her, eyes scanning the docks. Lotten and a few of the crew were, finally, heading down the docks in the opposite direction. Towards customs. The druids were always a pain like that. But, Bjorn and his crew had worked a good relationship with them. The pirates didn't bring any trouble, and the druids were willing to use them for transporting goods. Usually long distance trades. It was probably the most respectable work he did, and it was only because it was lucrative. Druid wares went for a high price.
Now that he was sure the coast was, mostly, clear, he pulled away, taking her hand in his own and silently leading her towards the ship. There was a snicker from one of the crew, though it quieted when Bjorn shot them a glance. "Lotten's in charge when she returns. I'm not to be disturbed," he ordered. Despite the snicker being stopped, there was definitely a smirk on the crewmates face. He walked quickly, though forced himself to go a little slower then he usually would so Deva wasn't having to struggle to keep up. They reached his cabin quickly, Bjorn holding the door open for her, before entering himself. The sounds of the ship could still be heard, even with the door closed. But the moment he turned the lock, to keep our unwanted visitors, the sounds dulled. There was a muffling spell on the lock.

He made a very valid point in saying that falling for a man at sea could be very lonely. She knew that he would not stay with her permanently while he was still able to go on sea. She understood, his first love had been the sea and she'd managed to rob just a tiny part of his heart, for now. She wanted to steal more, but not steal him away from the ocean. Now that she realised that he was the captain she knew with certainty that stealing him away from the ocean would never turn out right for them. She knew, but there were always more important things than seeing somebody constantly. As long as he came home to her, what more could she really ask for? Was she willing to wait then? Yes. She was almost surprised at how certain she was the moment he asked the question. There was no hesitation in her soul or doubt that it could work. She knew it could, because they both seemed to understand. "I won't be lonely as long as you send me letters. I'll always have a part of you with me, no matter the distance. Even if I could convince you to leave the sea behind you wouldn't be happy, I believe. Why ask you to give up a part of you when I'm falling in love with all of you?" It was a simple and sincere statement and she said it without any sign of doubt, looking him straight in the eyes. "I'm a naturally loyal person when I care. Would you give up all other woman in exchange for having me be patient and waiting for you every single time you come back here?" She thought she knew the answer, considering the fact he'd raced here for her. It couldn't be good for business to do that for any random girl. He had refused to sleep with her, which was a complete waste of time and energy if he didn't want to see her more than once as well. If she was just a girl to him he was very good at playing games with her.
The mention of her work had her freeze up for a moment. She'd forgotten about work for a moment. She had forgotten about all the paperwork, the many responsibilities and everything that now got her coworkers ever so far behind. How she wasn't around to help them either. She almost didn't catch the rest of the sentence and needed a moment to drag herself back into the moment. When it registered what he'd said a smile grew on her face as she shivered slightly in anticipation. She couldn't exactly lie, she'd longed for this moment from the first time they'd met. While writing love letters was awfully romantic there were some things that were still better experienced physically than through words. If he was telling the truth about all the promisses she was in some very enjoyable but deep trouble. "Well....." She mused for just a moment, "I wouldn't object if you saved just one promise for another time. It was fun to have something extra to look forward to." She batted her eyelashes at him innocently, although both of them knew she was far from innocent. All the games of seduction she'd attempted to persuade him with last time had more than attested to her own, at times devious, nature.
His teasing and joking felt so familiar and good already that she was thrilled their bit of banter wouldn't have to stop. She smiled, although she kept her face burried in his chest. She wanted the proximity, especially while forced to wait for the ship to empty out at least a little. She guessed he didn't want them getting underfoot of the actual progress of the unloading and hadn't considered for a single moment that he was trying to give them a little bit of privacy in a situation where that was near impossible. It wasn't really needed, but that was more because she failed to notice the rest of the world when she was around him. "Yes, the cabin. Naturally this was all a ploy to take over your cabin when you were in port next. Before you know it you'll be strapped to the bed while I play around with all your toys." She said it in a tone that made it very clear she was not at all serious. She was teasing him back, but she was just too satisfied to make it sound any kind of convincing rather than half dreamy because she was finally in his arms again. Better next time.
Naturally Deva noticed the little snicker and she located the sailor responsible, giving him her best innocent smile, as if she had no idea what she was planning to engage in within the next few minutes. It was always fun to pretend a little. Apart from that she was far too busy enjoying the feeling of his hand holding hers while keeping quite the pace in order to keep up with him. He was quite a bit taller and it was noticeable. Not that she was complaining, she felt completely safe in his arms. They felt like he'd protect her from anything bad that came her way. The sound of the ship faded as she heard the lock turn. Now there were two things she could do, explore the cabin or it's inhabitant. She was tempted to tease him by pretending to find the cabin more interesting but well..... weeks of waiting hadn't really done much for the patience she hadn't even had to begin with. She hadn't walked very far in and the moment the lock had turned she laughed a small delighted little laugh, wrapping her arms around his neck to pull herself closer to kiss him again. She broke it briefly. "So about those promisses... which one did you plan to start with?" She asked in a low voice. Oh boy, she wanted him so much right now. She almost felt bad for dressing up nice, it was generally not the kind of outfit that went off with very little effort. Oh well, maybe that was good. Allowed for a little more time to tease each other.

There that word was. Love. That's what this was, wasn't it? Deva said she was falling in love with him and Bjorn couldn't deny his own growing feelings. The aching in his heart. The longing to see her that had made the last few weeks almost unbearable. How his heart had soared when he saw her on the docks. How could he be falling in love with someone that was still, to a degree, a stranger? There was still so much he didn't know about her, and that she didn't know about him. But these were the feelings his parents had shared with him. Stories of his mother, waiting for his father at home whenever he was off. Their aching hearts that could only be soothed when the other returned home. He just smiled, not speaking in return quite yet. In fact, he only spoke one single word to Deva before they reached his cabin. When she'd asked if he'd be willing to give up all other women in exchange for her. "Gladly." For he felt no woman would ever satisfy him now.
Deva practically jumped him. He'd just turned back to her after locking the door when she wrapped her arms around his check, to pull herself and him down, and kissed him. His own arms wrapped around her waist, to hold her firmly in place as he returned the kiss. She broke it after a moment though, and he immediately felt frustrated. Hadn't they teased each other enough? As if to silently voice those thoughts, he released her waist with one of his arms, bent forward to place it behind her knees and scoop her up into his arms as if she weighed nothing. "The one you've been so desperately asking for." He carried her across the room and set her down on the edge of the bed. While tossing her onto the bed had sounded like a great idea in his head, he was sure it'd be far more difficult to undress her from that vantage point. He leaned forward, kissing her once more. Only this time his own desperation was finally cracking the surface. His hunger and desire for the woman that had stolen his heart after only one date.

The question had been mostly rhetorical so why on earth did his answer seem to shift the center of gravity of the planet so that it revolved around him. He'd give up other woman for her even though they didn't know each other that well yet. She was feeling week in the knees as her heart attempted to depart her body at the intensity it was beating at. Gladly. Well that was her favourite word from now on. She had understated her feelings just a little, mostly because she didn't want to scare him off. She had fallen in love with him already, the process wasn't just starting. She just knew that certain other individuals would have straight out ran away at the mention of the L word. Not Bjorn it seemed. It was like she was getting addicted to him and just had to have her fill. She needed more of him, so much more of him.
Perhaps she could have been more patient, but she had other things on her mind. She could have pretended not to be so impatient but it wouldn't have been that hard to call her bluff or tell she'd been lying. No, she wanted him and she was done waiting. The few weeks they'd been apart had felt easily like an eternity and she didn't want to wait another one to share this moment with him. She let out a small yelp in surprise as he lifted her but she would have melted straight through his arms if her body had been capable of literally turning to liquid. His strength and conviction only had her longing for him more and mentally cursing herself for not choosing something that was both attractive and easy to take off. She'd just wanted to look the best she possibly could and well, this dress was her best by far. Not too girly but showed off all the right parts of her body. Not that it seemed that had been all that needed to remind him that she had certain ideas in her mind.
He promised the one she'd been desperately asking for. A part of her considered denying it had been desperate but all in all she knew that the first date had definitively been her trying to see how far she could go. She'd been begging in the more practical sense of the word, although he hadn't given in to her back then. Now he seemed more than willing to take her up on the offer she'd made weeks ago. That was indeed a promiss she was ready to see fulfilled. As he kissed her she ran her hands across his chest, exploring while at the same time torn between trying to take it off herself or wait for him to do it so she could enjoy the show. With how strong he was it was bound to look as amazing as he made her feel. Between the kissing she muttered, slightly frustrated in the best of ways, "You're overdressed, Captain." Yes, she was teasing him about the secret he'd been keeping from her in the same breath. He clearly knew how to take command though, that much was clear. Not to mention that was... really very sexy to her.

Three words. That was all it took for Deva to break his will. Had Bjorn ever felt so desperate for a woman before? Well, sure, when he was frustrated and needed a release. But this was quite different. Weeks of writing. Sweet promises. Far to many innuendos. It had all been building up to this moment. Would it all be worth it? All the tormenting, and teasing?
Bjorn pulled away, quite reluctantly. But if she was going to try and get one final tease in, then so was he. He slowly, almost painfully slow, shrugged his leather jacket off, tossing it aside before grabbing the bottom of his shirt and pulling it up... up, and over his head, tossed aside as well While Deva had probably seen hints of his tattoos (at least the ones on his arms) during their first meeting, most had remained unseen. Covering his back and chest. Along with quite a few scars. A sailors body, if you will. He moved back to her, leaning over the bed and this time using his strength to pull her further onto it. He'd had a reason for putting her there, but that reason had now been forgotten. It really was a lovely dress, and he couldn't help his eyes from wandering, following her curves. His hands wandered, lightly brushing those curves he'd eyed just a few moments ago. He leaned forward to kiss her again, his hands now searching a bit more desperately on how to get the dress off. Though, he wasn't quite finding what he wanted, and it was only making him more frustrated. It'd be a shame to rip the dress, but patience was not his friend today. "I love this dress, but I will rip it." It was almost a threat, but could you blame him? This beautiful but devious dress was between him and what he wanted.

No doubt, the expectations were high. For both of them. It had al been half a game in the beginning, the flirting and teasing. Her seeing how far she could push him and his relentless patience and unbreakable will to make her wait. The mood had changed and it seemed all bets were off the table now. They both had expectations that they had created for themselves and for the other party. Deva knew her expectations were high but it was near impossible not to expect great things from him after everything he'd said and teased during their first encounters and the letters that followed. She knew she was possibly setting herself up for disappointment but with how intense every single second had been since the room had been locked it wasn't exactly surprising that neither of them spent much attention on their surroundings.
Her eyes were glued to his body completely as he shrugged out of his leather jacket and Deva noticed she was barely breathing. She needed this so desperately. She needed him. Next was the shirt and as he peeled that extra layer off his skin so she could behold everything that was under it. The tattoos instantly caught her attention, in part because of how well they seemed to emphasize his body. Tattoos and scars, not quite the trademarks of a simple life like her own had been. She had few scars and none of them very noticeable. They were nothing but the small wear and tear of every day life where his clearly had a different source. Yet he shook her from her staring as he pulled her further on the bed. She traced her fingers lightly over one of his tattoos, in awe of both him and the things that he'd chosen to carry with him. She'd caught glances but like him, it never compared to what was underneath the surface.
Then came the threat to her clothes that really got her hot and bothered. The desire was in his voice and it made her heart pound so loudly she almost expected him to be able to hear it. She loved the dress but it came with a few.... complications. She usually used magic to close it or at times just hooked a coat hanger to the zipper zo she could actually pull it all the way up without twisting her arm out of the socket. She didn't really have either and she feared the zipper wasn't going to cooperate. She sat up and pulled a face as she managed to pull it down just a little. It was too much effort. She thought about it for a moment and then looked at him with a far too devious smile. "I'll mend it later." She simply stated as an open invitation for him to turn the threat he'd leveled on the dress into a reality. If he wanted her badly enough to literally rip the clothes of her body.... well, that would make for a very interesting experience.
