Although Isabel had yet to adjust completely to living in a shared house with other LIFE students in Hogsmeade, one of the few benefits of being a witch as opposed to a Muggle like her parents was that she could use Apparition to travel considerable distances without having to pay for some other form of transportation. Getting from the Scottish Highlands to London wouldn't have been anywhere near as convenient otherwise, and Isabel was glad that she could spend some of her ample free time on the Muggle side of the city. It was like being transported between realities, but she was fairly certain that she needed the occasional break from being surrounded by magic for her sanity.
The first thing on Isabel's agenda for the day was to spend some time outdoors, given that the forecast called for pleasant weather. If the magical world had any decent green spaces available to her other than the Hogwarts grounds, Isabel wasn't aware of them. She had been going to Hyde Park since before she could remember, though, so she felt that it would be nice to stop by there for a little while.
Once she arrived at the park, she sat down on an unoccupied bench, mostly because she wanted to give herself some time to plan out the rest of her day. Maybe, she thought, she could pick up some groceries while she was out. The food in the magical world wasn't all bad, but sometimes she just wanted a bowl of Coco Pops for breakfast.
