Having spent more years at Hogwarts than almost anyone else—except for some of the staff—with her higher education on top of what had been the standard seven years at the time of her education through NEWT level, Ivanka Krum was beginning to realize just how much she was going to miss the place. It had only taken the equivalent of an undergraduate degree and almost the length of the equivalent of a master's degree for her to feel able to relax on a free patch of grass on the grounds like she had in years prior, but it was nice to just take it all in. Although it wasn't exactly the same, it really was astonishing how Hogwarts had been rebuilt in such a short time to be even larger than ever before.
Lying in the grass with her eyes closed and the sun shining down on her, Ivanka breathed deeply. The youngest Hogwarts students—the children who attended MYSTIC—were being let out of school for the afternoon, and she could hear them laughing and playing and conversing amongst themselves. Though it would be a long time before that would happen, she thought about what it would be like for the students who had started Reception upon the reopening of Hogwarts to work their way through the entirety of the primary school to university in its present form. It was strange to think that those little kids, being handed off to parents or herded aboard the the triple-decker bus to join the MAGIC students who didn't board at Hogwarts, would be her colleagues someday, but she preferred that to the alternative.
For now, at least, there was peace.
