Oscar wasn't arguing with her, wasn't saying that he wasn't worthy of her or that other people wouldn't approve and Anna felt relieved. She didn't want him to feel that way and hoped that what she said really did help him. She laughed softly after Oscar told her that he loved her. "Now where would we be if we hadn't finally said that to one another today?" she teased with a smile meant just for him. She couldn't believe how free she felt after their discussion, after learning that he cared for her just like she cared for him. It was amazing.
Oscar told her she would be brilliant without him and Anna shrugged, her eyes shining with mirth. "I know. I can't help it," she knew he was serious when he said that, but she couldn't help herself. Then she looked at him, her expression more serious. "But don't you dare take that as a reason to leave. Brilliant or not, I need you." There. Now, even with her teasing, her feelings were clear and he knew it. She needed him, no doubt about it.

Oscar smiled back when Anna grinned at him, teasing him slightly. “We would have been lost.” Oscar replied simply when Anna asked where they would have been without saying I love you. He didn’t know what he would have done, if he had to continue to hold on to how he felt about Anna without saying anything about it. Lost was a good word for it, Oscar thought. He would have been somewhere, but not the place he wanted to be. It was strange, how three little words could put you in the place you wanted to be without ever moving you at all.
The Beauxbatons boy let out a little chuckle when Anna said that she couldn’t help but be brilliant. There was no way he could deny that. “I will not leave you just because you are brilliant without me.” Oscar assured Anna. “Because I am only brilliant when I am with you, and I enjoy that feeling.” Maybe Anna didn’t see it that way, but Oscar had much more to lose by leaving Anna than she had to lose by leaving him.

"Well I'm glad we're not lost." Anna didn't know what else to say, so she just told him the truth. All she wanted was to be with Oscar and the fact that they were now dating was a bigger relief than she could have explained in words. The fact that he felt the same way for her was even better.
She smiled when he said he was brilliant when they were together. "We're both brilliant together, but I think you're brilliant on your own too," she told him, reaching for his hand. "Do you want to go back in? I think it should be time for dinner about now." Which meant that Anna was hungry, though if he wasn't ready to go in yet, she would stay out here. She'd rather be hungry out here with Oscar, than be full inside without him.
@oscar (you want to end it after this one?)

Oscar nodded when Anna said she was glad that they weren’t lost. He would much rather be found, with her. Hell, he wouldn’t mind being lost, if he was still lost together. Anna then insisted that they were both brilliant together, and though Oscar wasn’t sure she was telling the truth about him being brilliant on his own, he nodded again when she said it anyways. “Dinner is good.” Oscar said, standing and pulling Anna up with him, too. “Let us go, mon amour.” He said, turning to the castle so he could have a meal with the girl that he loved.
