@dominique <3 Olivia was on a search. Her twin brother had found a certain candy that he absolutely adored and sucked on all the time. She personally found them to taste terrible, but decided to be nice and buy him a large pack for Christmas so he didn't run out for a couple of weeks at least. They were the sugar quills. For Olivia they were way to sweet and reminded her of muggle candy called Jolly Ranchers, which she also didn't like. They left a sticky, gross taste in her mouth and she couldn't stand them.
Honeydukes was her first stop on this Saturday visit. She wanted to get them and get out, because there were some item inside this store that she herself would love, like the chocolate frogs. But, she couldn't concentrate on that. Even if she had thrown a handful into her own small cart and a couple of things to send to her parents with her owl. She turned the corner, and couldn't find these dang quills! With a small huff, she turned around again, eyes searching high and low.

Dom loved Hogsmeade days. It was always pretty easy for her to find some way to entertain herself when she got to leave the castle. Not that she didn't entertain herself inside the castle; she was a professional at it, but it was always easier outside Hogwarts. As she walked down the main street she saw Honeydukes and ducked inside quickly, glancing around for something to snack on.
Glancing down the aisles, Dom looked at the people around her. People watching was one of her favorite things. Mostly because she loved to watch people, predict what was about to happen, and be right about it. She knew people so well. So as she glanced at the candies, Dom couldn't help but look around at the people too. She grabbed a few bags of licorice snaps before spotting a friend from Ravenclaw. "Hey Olivia. You look frustrated," Dom commented, leaning against a shelf as she looked at her friend with a curious smile on her face. "What's up?" Dom kept her voice cheerful, even though she noticed the frustrated expression on Olivia's face.

@dominique <3 Searching for these quills were a battle, but Olivia had to find them. Her brother would be ecstatic and Olivia always tried her hardest to make sure her gifts for her siblings and her family were perfect and exactly what they wanted. Even if they took months and months to plan and make, she'd do anything to see a genuine smile on their faces.
A cheery voice stopped her search and Olivia looked at her housemate Dominique and smiled. "Hello Dom! I'm just trying to find packages of sugar quills, I can't seem to find them anywhere." kicks Olivia's annoyed face quickly disappeared and she began peeking around Dominique. "Do you know where they are?"

Olivia was so focused on whatever she was doing that she didn’t even notice Dom approach until she said something. Granted, that made sense. Why pay attention to people who were approaching when you had so many people surrounding you? Dom nodded and smiled at Olivia’s greeting, but she wasn’t about to say hello again. She’d already said it after all. Dom’s smile widened even more when she realized what it was that had Olivia upset. She was looking for sugar quills, but she was looking in the wrong place. “They’re over here!” Dom said cheerfully, pushing off the shelf so she was standing upright before moving a few rows over and grabbing a pack, handing them to her friend. “Is that all you’re looking for? I’ve got this place memorized,” she said with a confident shrug. She could find anything in here in a very short period of time.

@dominique <3 It was as if Dominique had this store down pat as to where everything was. Olivia's eyes widened and she dropped the item she was holding and immediately began following her classmate. And there they were, right where Dom showed her. The one place Olivia hadn't looked, or, she didn't think she had looked there. Olivia could've just missed them. But either way, there they were. Finally. Grabbing multiple packages, she threw them in her small cart and looked at Dominique with a big grin. "Thank you so much, I'd been here forever looking for them. And no...I think that's all. Do you need help with anything? I've got to return the favor."

Dom liked helping people. Really, she did. But she also liked being able to call on favors when she was in the mood. So when Olivia asked how she could help Dom, wanting to return the favor, Dom smiled and shook her head. "Don't worry about it. I'm just here to help a fellow sweet-seeker," she responded sweetly. "But I might come and ask for your help with something later, if you don't mind." Really, that was just a warning. Dom definitely would be coming to Olivia for help with something, whether it be asking for relief from boredom or something else, she wasn't sure. "What are your plans for Hogsmeade today?" Dom asked curiously. Not that she was trying to crash the girl's plans, but she was curious about them. Maybe she'd tag along for a bit. After all, Dom wasn't really doing anything big.

@dominique <3 Olivia smiled. That was nice of her. "Well thank you, Dom, I really appreciate it." Olivia had only spoken with the girl a few times, but they were in the same house, year, and both on the Quidditch Team so they saw each other quite a lot. She was sweet, but Olivia was one to keep to herself. Not out of shyness or anger, just because she liked her freedom of being on her own. "No, I don't mind at all!" Olivia would help her if needed, the other redhead seemed to be quite genuine and Olivia liked that about her. "I haven't got much else going on, just some last minute Christmas shopping. This is for my brother." She held up her basket.

Olivia thanked her again and Dom shrugged this time. She wasn't going to comment on it, but she always found it funny when people thanked others more than once. Sure, it meant that they were really grateful or something, but wasn't it easier to thank and then just move on? But it wasn't a problem, just something she didn't entirely understand. Dom grinned when Olivia said she didn't mind if Dom tagged along. "Great! I love Christmas shopping! What else do you need to get?" She asked, curious about what the other girl was going to say and nodding when she told her about the gift to her brother. Dom didn't even know if Vic or Louis were partial to those. Hmm ... maybe she should figure that out. It could be fun to surprise either/both of them with little gifts like that. She already had her Christmas gifts for them.

@dominique <3 "Hmm..." Olivia thought for a moment. She already had her gifts for Bernard and her parents. Her sister, well, she still needed to get something for her and her other brother. They definitely wouldn't be too difficult, but she hoped she'd be able to find something today. "I need something for my older sister, and my other brother. He likes sports, mostly football. But I'm not sure what to get my sister." Olivia wondered if Dom would even know what American football was, as it wasn't anything similar to what these Brits all called football.

Dom watched with a smile on her face as Olivia tried to decide what she wanted to get for her family. It was interesting to her. Dom never really had to think about her gifts. She merely had to go to a store (or a few stores) and gifts just popped out at her. That made it fairly simple for her to get Christmas shopping done in one go, which was a relief. She didn't know what she'd do if she actually had to plan things out. Dom wasn't much of a planner. "Football," she commented, not quite sure what the game was, assuming it had something to do with a ball and playing with your feet, but she'd never heard of it. "Well would you get him a ball or supplies for the game?" She asked, pretending like she knew what she was talking about. "Well what does your sister like?" Dom asked diplomatically. Maybe she could help with that somehow.

@dominique <3 Dominique's suggestion was helpful, and Olivia nodded her head. That would definitely be a good idea for her other brother. It was a tradition for the three triplets to get clothing, generally a sweater or shirt. They all said, 'The Big Three' on them, and that was always from their parents. So Olivia tried her hardest to get her older sister something she would love so she wouldn't feel so left out even though they did buy her clothes as well. "She likes a lot really, dancing is one thing she does a lot. I could get her some music, but I'm not sure if that would be enough..."

Dom cocked her head at the girl in front of her curiously. "Why wouldn't music be enough? If she likes music, isn't it more the thought that counts? Like, if you can find something she likes, then why would you need to get more?" She didn't understand that kind of an attitude. Granted, Dom did tend to be more impulsive with her gifts, getting the first thing that occurred to her, or the first thing she saw that she liked, but she'd never seen anyone be ungrateful about the gifts she gave them. That would just be rude. She smiled, trying to make sure she hadn't offended Olivia. "I'm sure your sister will like anything you give her," she reaffirmed confidently. "But if you really want something else and can't think of anything, you could give her a letter with a promise of spending some sisterly bonding time together if you wanted." That always worked when Dom struggled to find something to give to Vic, but maybe Olivia wasn't as close with her sister as Dom was with Vic. Who knew?

@dominique <3 Olivia wasn't offended by Dominique's comment, but she did understand where she was coming from. It should be enough, but where the three triplets get a very special gift, she wanted to do whatever possible to make sure her sister felt just as special. And in her own personal experience, she didn't think any music would be enough to make her sister feel important. "It is the thought that counts. Though, I'm not sure if you knew this but I'm a triplet, I've got two brothers. And we get these sweaters every year that say 'The Big Three' on them. I just want her to feel as special as those sweaters." Olivia smiled, and laughed at Dom's next suggestion. "Now that is a good idea."

She was a triplet? How did Dom miss that? She berated herself internally for a second, but on the outside she kept on smiling. She would need to pay more attention to the people around her, she decided. Or find out ways to ask about their families and such. Dom liked being on the inside, not the outside. She liked knowing almost everything about people, and knowing how they would respond to situations. All the same, things with Olivia were going just fine. She nodded. "That make sense then."She smiled when Olivia seemed to really like her second idea. "Then do it! It's definitely something original and it would definitely mean something to her because she would get the opportunity to spend time with you." She laughed and winked at her friend, "And besides, it's cheap, for now. You mind spend more on it later though, when you're actually doing something with her."

@dominique <3 "That is true. I'm sure she'd enjoy it, especially getting away from our brothers." Olivia knew that many people didn't know she was a triplet. Maybe it was an American thing to have multiple children, she wasn't sure. While Olivia wasn't embarrassed about her siblings, there was also another thing others didn't know. One of her brother's was adopted, as when her and Bernard were born, their third brother had passed away during birth. Their father had seen another baby in the unit who was brought in, and their parents adopted him. Olivia would always consider him her brother, and her triplet no matter what. "So you said your Christmas shopping was done?"
