Elaine was BORED. Her special surprise for Hogwarts wasn’t due to take place for another few weeks, and the other plans she had weren’t quite….full grown to be of use to her. She lounged on a long, velvet couch as Anise, the serving girl at the Hogs Head pub, brought her a glass of red Elf-made wine. Without saying thank you, she snatched the goblet and drained it in one gulp. “More,” she commanded, and Anise curtsied before going to refill her glass. Elaine sighed exasperatedly as she twirled her wand between her fingers. She wished that she had a Time-Turner in her possession; she would go back in time and speed up the process of some of her plans so that they happened faster.
Anise brought back the refilled goblet, and Elaine paused before taking it. She surveyed the girl in front of her. She had three women that were at her beck and call, three women whose identities she could take and go out with. So, why not? She could go to Club Indigo to start, find some unsuspecting, perhaps not so innocent person she could entice to going to do something more fun. “Anise, you’re to stay here tonight, I’m going out,” she decided. Leaving the full goblet, she crossed over and plucked a hair off Anise’s head. The girl said nothing, but sat on the couch and began to watch the crackling fire. Elaine refrained from rolling her eyes as she went upstairs to where she kept the cauldron full of Polyjuice Potion. Within a few moments, Elaine was now Anise, and with a wave of her wand she wore a tight black minidress and boots. She added a leather jacket for that extra level. Checking that her hidden flask was full of the potion. Elaine apparated to the back of Club Indigo and, after flirting with the bouncer, was allowed to cut the line. She flounced in, and set her sights on someone sitting at the bar by themselves. Aerick had just poured them another drink, and she winked at him as she sidled next to her target. “I’ll have what they’re having,” she said, looking over and smiling at the person.

Sarah had been having a grand evening this far. Sure, she knew some of her family wasn't too keen on her job, but it paid quite well. Not just hourly but tips. And all she had to do was make sure the patrons had a good time! Still, periodically she would need to take a break and lounge about. It was during one of those short breaks she spotted a familiar mass of blonde hair. Was that Anise? One of Elaine's girls. What was she doing here?
Sarah's curiosity got the best of her and she followed the witch. She kept a small distance at first (not that Anise was observant enough to notice her... or post people. Sarah was excellent at sneaking around.), but crept closer when the witch approached the bar. She knew who this was now, and she couldn't help but smirk. Anise wouldn't be so confident. So it looked like someone was playing pretend right now. She'd gotten close enough to hear 'Anise' ask Aerick for a drink, the same one as the patron next to her. Sarah saw her chance and took it.
Sarah slunk up behind the blonde, quiet as death itself and slipped her hands around the blondes waist, thus announcing her presence. "Aerick, Im sure our guest would prefer something a little stronger." She spoke up finally, though to the bartender and not the dark witch she'd wrapped her arms around. Was Sarah playing a dangerous game by doing this? Most certainly. But dangerous games were oh so fun.

Elaine tensed, ever so slightly, but relaxed as soon as she heard the voice behind her. Sarah Oliviera, one of her most loyal followers and dancer here at Club Indigo. The woman had likely seen her come in as Anise, then surveyed her before coming over. Sarah was one of the select few who knew the...extent of Anise and her other disguises loyalty to her and how she kept them in line. It would be obvious to her by now that it was Elaine; Anise was a little fool of a girl, and would never openly flirt with someone at a bar like Club Indigo. But for now, she’d play along; she was still intrigued by the person next to them. “Oh, my goodness,” she explained, fluttering her hand in front of her face and laughing airily. “Well...I suppose if you have a very SPECIAL kind of tequila,” she consented, batting her eyelashes. Aerick would know what she meant, and she caught the ghost of a smile as he bent down to grab the tequila bottle and a little potion Elaine had placed behind the bar for special occasions, like tonight. It was a translucent potion, tasteless and odorless, but it would give the target next to her a feeling of euphoria and desire to say yes to anything.
Aerick placed three shots of tequila and sliced limes in front of the women. “One for you,” Elaine exclaimed, turning around and handing Sarah the shot, her face very close to the womans. “One for me!” she declared, putting the middle one towards her as she saw Aerick flick his eyes towards the last one. “And this one is for you lovely,” she purred, pushing the shotglass towards the stranger. She held out her shotglass and beamed. “To an unforgettable night!” she cheersed, and downed her shot without the assistance of the lime.

Elaine couldn't fool her. Not after all the time she'd watched Anise. But she wouldn't blatantly call her out on it. She'd play along and pretend just like her leader. It'd be fun, so why not? Sarah kept her arms around Elaine's waist as the girl giggled and commented about a special tequila, her dark gaze flickering to Aerick as he seemed to understand the request. Some secret between the two of them. What did she care though? Surprises were always fun.
The shot glasses were filed and Elaine turned in Sarah's arms to hold one out to er. For a moment Sarah just raised an eyebrow, extremely tempted to see if she could convince Elaine to feed (well... drink) her it. Deciding that it would ruin the whole Anise charade she finally took one hand from Elaine's waist, took the glass and downed it at the same time as Elaine and the visitor Elaine was currently infatuated with.
With a sigh, Sarah removed her other hand from Elaine's waist and leaned against the bar on the other side of Elaine and her target. "Just how unforgettable will it be?" she murmured quietly to Elaine, eyes sparking with interest at what the Dark Lady was up too.

Elaine watched as Sarah took the shot, then with an encouraging smile, watched as the stranger shyly took her own shot. “Just wait and see,” she breathed back to Sarah after hearing the question tickle her ear. Elaine had been graced with the gift of immense patience over the past year. Not that she had had much choice of course; with the Ministry pooling in their resources to find her, she had to lay low, and perform her deeds in small doses. First it had been Imperiusing Alastor into giving her control of Club Indigo, then came the double murder of Abigail Shacklebolt and Theodorus Nott, and of course who could forget the sickness of Neville Longbottom? Elaine had dearly wanted the blundering fool of a headmaster to get his comeuppance, but she didn’t want him dead. Not yet at least.
Tonight’s little game though, had been a stroke of brilliance in her own opinion. Elaine watched as the girl rolled her shoulders back, looking immensely more relaxed than she had five minutes previous. She declared that Aerick pour them more shots, and Elaine laughed gaily. One flick of her eyes and Aerick knew to pour her a shot of water; she didn’t need to be that intoxicated to have some fun, and her mind needed to be clear in order to study the effects of the little gift she had slipped this girl. They took their next round of shots, and Elaine clapped her hands together. “Let’s go dance!” she exclaimed, leading both Sarah and the girl, who announced her name was Destiny, to the dance floor. How amusing, Elaine thought to herself as they all began to dance. She gave a wink to Sarah after a few songs; the fun was about to begin. She bent down and whispered something into Destiny’s ear, slipping something into her hands. Destiny nodded and went over to a man skulking in a corner. A few words and some choice hand placements, and he was following the girl out back. Elaine danced for thirty more seconds, then motioned for Sarah to follow her.
They slipped out into the night to hear the sound of something gurgling, like a brook was nearby. Of course, there was no brook, as they saw Destiny hovered over the man, bloody knife in hand. The man went still, the large rip in his jugular the culprit. “He was saying very nasty things about Elaine Dupree as we were going into the club,” Elaine said sweetly. She reached over and tucked a stray strand of hair behind Destinys’ ear. The girl had a glazed look in her eyes, like she wasn’t entirely present in the moment. “Get rid of the body. Wash yourself up, then meet us back at the dance floor dear one,” she whispered, and Destiny heaved the body off into the shadows to dispose of him. Elaine turned to Sarah, smirking. “The night’s just beginning Sarah,” she declared greedily, eyes glinting in the moonlight.

Sarah could be patient when she needed to, but that didn't mean she was a fan of it. So she pouted out her bottom lip at Elaine's quiet words. She wanted to know now. But, she could wait. For now. A second round of shots came and Sarah downed her own with ease. No surprise. She could probably be a competitive drinker if she wanted, the woman's tolerance was extreme. A couple shots like this would barely get her a small buzz. Plus, she functioned well when drunk, so it was always hard to predict just how sober the woman really was. Aerick in particular was well aware of her toldersncd level. So she didn't need a water shot to keep her head on her shoulders.
Dancing though, was a good distraction. She was almost tempted to hang back a moment and get a shot of something stronger, but decided to be obedient... for one reason. Obedience usually meant Elaine might give her something fun to do. So, giving Aerick a shrug she pushed away from the counter and casually followed Elaine and her victim to the dance floor. She'd really intended to dance with them, but three was always a crowd and had soon found an all to rolling partner and placed his hands on her hips as they danced. She kept a very close eye on Elaine though, her curiousity keeping her vigilant so that she managed to push away from the man and follow when Elaine started to move.
"You know I would have been happy to take care of that, had you asked." Was Sarah's first reaction to the scene in the alley as she leaned against the wall. She'd killed for Elaine before. For Fenrir too. And sometimes just for the sport of it. And she certainly would do it again.

Elaine glanced over at Sarah when she said she could have taken care of that, and happily. “I know dear, but it’s just...oh, what's the worst I’m looking for,” she said, pausing as she tapped her finger on her lip. “Fun! That’s it, it’s fun making people do something they wouldn’t normally do. Especially when it involves a brutal murder she’ll likely receive a death sentence for when she’s caught,” she explained, smirking widely. Perhaps it was unjustly cruel of her, but Elaine had already levitated the dropped knife into the shop next doors rubbish bins. When the Muggle police officers found the decomposing body in a few days, their dogs would leave them straight to the knife, and then to Destiny. “You know how to make sure a body is never found my dear; when I have fun like this I like to be sure that we have proper scapegoats in place," she added, complementing Sarah on her methods. Sarah had a more brutal style than Elaine’s own, but the two women had an understanding of each other that put her a level above most of her usual followers.
“I promise, if there’s someone I don’t want found, you’ll be the first to know,” Elaine swore, reaching out and twirling a piece of Sarah’s hair in her fingers. Destiny returned then, clean and without the stench of death. “Come on ladies, I believe they’re playing our song,” Elaine said giddily, flouncing back into the club as ‘Devils Dance’ by Metallica riffed through the speakers. She laughed wildly as she threw her hands up in the air, spinning around as if she had no care in the world. And she didn’t - tonight she was Anise, the barmaid who was just looking to have a fun night out.

Sarah frowned just a little at Elaine's words. That it was fun to make people do something they wouldn't. She couldn't disagree with that. But this sort of act... Well, it was also her idea of fun. Sarah was a sick and twisted individual that took great pleasure in inflicting harm onto others. "The least she could have done was made sure it wasn't so quick." she finally answered. Make the man suffer a bit. Just a quick stab like that... Where was the fun in that? "He probably didn't even see it coming." And that was why Sarah liked to play with her victims. Like a house cat catching a mouse. It didn't need to hunt the mouse for survival. It hunted for sport and played with it because it could.
The woman hmph'ed softly at the promise, half ignoring Elaine's fingers in her hair, though she did lean a little closer and lowered her voice to a whisper. "Soon, I hope. I have an insatiable itch that's only going to get worse." Was Sarah blood thirsty? Yes. She most certainly was, and only a rare few knew how strong that pull was. Elaine's little pet soon returned and they energetically hurried back into the club, Sarah bringing up the rear. Instead of going to dance though she needed another drink. It only took a wave to the bar for the current bar tender to start fixing her a glasses that was ready by the time she reached the counter. Downing it quickly she leaned against the surface and watched Elaine and that muggle girl dance away. Amused, but irritated at the lack of her own violance.

Elaine kept twirling a lock of Sarah’s hair around her finger. “You know you’re my number one go to when I need things like these done for real, right?” she questioned, her eyes wide as she bit her lower lip lightly. Elaine was not one to play favori- oh, even thinking about it almost made her laugh out loud. Of course she liked to play favorites. She was particularly fond of Sarah’s body of work when it came to maiming and torturing, but she liked to use her for people who particularly deserve it. She could have chosen to make the man who had sullied her name suffer more, but she had been in a forgiving nature to allow him a quick death. Perhaps later in the night after a few more drinks, someone would cross her in a way that she wanted them to deal with Sarah. “The night is young S, there are plenty of opportunities that may arise for us,” she said, leaning in and pressing her lips against Sarah’s collarbone. She could practically feel the men in the rooms eyes on the two of them; she supposed Anise would be considered attractive, but she expected they were panting over the fact of two girls getting close in a nightclub. As if it was the first time anyone had seen that.
Elaine rolled her eyes, and pressed her hips against Destiny's. She would have to redo the spell soon enough, but she was enjoying herself for the time being. A new song started up, and Elaine decided she didn’t like it. Leaving Destiny to fend for herself in the middle of the dance floor, she made her way back over to Elaine and hmmphed. “I hate this song. Someone should do something about it,” she said, leaning against the bar and blew a piece of damp hair out of her eyes. She looked over at Sarah pointedly and jerked her head towards the DJ stand. “Wouldn’t you agree?” she asked her.

Sarah was quite confident that Elaine’s words about her being the number one go to for such tasks was true. She’d established her usefulness with the young woman so thoroughly she had no doubt when needed she’d be the one called upon. But that still didn’t mean she wasn’t a little… trigger happy. Bored when things were slightly more peaceful, and restless between targets. It just might make her lash out on her own if nothing satisfying came up soon. And she did happen to have an individual in mind for the next time she… Freelanced. Tilting her head just a little so Elaine would be unobstructed in her closeness. For now, Elaine’s words were enough to pacify her, in so much that Elaine would probably feel a subtle purr in her chest. ”Good.” was her short but content response. And if Sarah did lash out eventually… Well, would Elaine really be upset? She did need to keep her skills honed after all.
Eventually, Elaine joined her at the bar and made a comment about the song. Raising an eyebrow Sarah’s gaze followed Elaine's direction to the DJ. If that wasn’t a subtle command, nothing was. Those cold eyes moved back to Elaine after and she smiled. Just like a snake staring at its meal. ”And what would be a better choice?” She asked slowly. If Elaine wanted it changed than Sarah would need to know what song or genre Elaine would like.

Elaine pulled back a little, and looked at Sarah curiously. “You have a target in mind?” she asked, sounding a little more sharp than curious. She blinked, and briefly saw a flash into Sarah’s mind; her brother, Dakota. “Ah,” she breathed out the word more than speaking it, and nodded. “If you’re in need of a ...holiday, Sarah, I completely understand. Sometimes we need a little time away to sort out some...kinks in our lives,” she said with a low purr in her voice. Sarah would clearly understand what she meant; she was giving her follower permission to do what she wanted, with whomever she wanted. Sarah would also understand any consequences to her actions, particularly within her family. If it was a risk she was willing to take, then who was Elaine to stop her?
Elaine sighed, curling a long strand of Anise’s blonde hair in between her fingers as she debated what sort of song to play next. “Play something about the devil,” she suggested, grinning maliciously. After all, hadn’t the press called her the devil multiple times already? Might as well play it up. She wished that she knew a spell that she could cast over the club; she wanted to run her hands through her real dark hair, feeling someones body against her real body, not having to worry about her identity. As the idea formed, she knew that later tonight when she was done here she’d find herself in her massive library, pouring over spellbooks so powerful the Charms professor wouldn’t dare try to teach them to her students. Something to make Elaine actually enjoy a night out in her own skin.
