Finn grinned at Dominiques' order. "I like a girl with a hearty sweet tooth," he said as they strolled outside. The night was warm and the streetlights gave off a soft ambiance. "Great appetite, sweet tooth, killer hair. Dominique Weasley I think you may just be my dream girl," he told her with a rougish smile. He was kidding of course, well, partly. They had had a fantastic time this evening, and Finn was sorry to see it come to a close. He didn't want her to be out too late though, and Jon would kill him if he was late to practice. If he wanted to win the Captainship he had applied for...well, being late was not really an option. They walked in a comfortable silence, eating their delicious ice cream. Sadly, it was gone all too soon, and Finn knew he had to say goodnight. "Well Dom, I must say, this date could have gone a lot of ways," he started, taking one of her hands in his. "But looks like Blishwick knew what he was doing." He squeezed her hand lightly, and leaned in to kiss her on the cheek. "I hope I can see you again soon?" he asked, trying not to sound too hopeful. He had a reputation to maintain after all. @dominique go ahead and end

Dom laughed when Finn said that he liked a girl with a hearty sweet tooth. Well, he'd definitely found that in her. She wasn't one to hide what she wanted or what she was in the mood for, especially since he hadn't. Dom would get what she wanted, and if he didn't want to pay for it, she'd have no problem taking care of herself. However, Finn was ever the gentleman, paying for her without hesitation. "Glad it doesn't intimidate you," she quipped back, unable to resist. Once they started walking outside with their ice cream, he started listing off things about her, telling her that she might be his dream girl and Dom couldn't help but laugh again. "That's all it takes to land a super-famous Quidditch player? Wow, I must be lucky," she teased right back with a wink. She liked Finn's attitude. He was easy to talk to and flirt with and she'd definitely enjoyed her blind date with him. She definitely would want to do something else with him after tonight ... assuming he wanted to as well. For the next little while they wandered around without talking and Dom was surprised by how comfortable the silence was. She normally wasn't one for silence. She filled it with mindless chatter, but right now she was busy eating her ice cream. It was as good as he said it would be. Then he was taking her hand, saying that the date could have gone lots of ways, but that Jimbo Blishwick must have known what he was doing. He kissed her on the cheek and she smiled and nodded. "I think you're right about that, and I definitely think we should be able to manage another meeting." Dom liked spending her time with people like Finn. As long as he wanted to spend time with her, she would definitely be up for it. "You have a good night then," she said, winking at him before apparating home with a sigh. It was a good date. --- the end --- @finn
