Rory smiled when he saw the look of relief on Rosie's face. She drank some of the blood, calling him a saint and obviously enjoying it. Good. That confirmed the suspected diagnosis. Rory didn't know of anyone that wasn't a vampire who wasn't disgusted at the thought of drinking blood. She was doing well with it. He sat down on the chair in front of her. "Okay, so there are some options for you. Obviously you don't want to go into the sun without long sleeves or an umbrella or hat to cover you. Besides that, you should be able to fit in quite well with people. There are blood banks you can go to in order to get your food," he said with a nod to her. "In addition to that, there are blood lollipops that blend in quite well. Most people assume it's just cherry." Rory hesitated a moment. "Do you have any questions?" He wanted to make sure she felt taken care of, like she knew what to do now. rose harriet granger-weasley @brandon

Rosie could tell his disgusted Brandon was with the liquid in her cup, and any other moment, she would have questioned whether or not he was disgusted in her, but right now she was too distracted by the satisfaction she was getting through her long, slow sips. It was who she was now. He’s just have to get used to it. The healer explained that there were blood banks where she could go to get more when she needed to and she nodded. That would be incredibly awkward. But she’s do it. Maybe she could get a bulk supply and keep it in the fridge or freezer until she needed it. “I already knew about the sun.” she insisted. She had found that out the hard way on the plane back from Russia while sitting in her window seat. Man that sucked. How she didn’t rip the head off of the muggle man next to her she’d never know. “no I mean, I guess not. Thank you.” she said again to the man. Their conversation had been short but mostly Rosie just needed confirmation that she wasn’t going to die and that she didn’t need to attack anyone to stay alive. This blood bank put her at ease entirely. “I’m feeling a lot better now.” she promised.

Brandon listened as the healer continued to explain things to Rosie, about where she could go to get blood. The reality of what happened to her still hadn't really settled on Brandon, but he wasn't worried about it. He'd figure it out, he and Rosie would work on things together. Still, he didn't feel like he needed to say anything. He listened to Rory talk about how she could stay safe from the sun and felt a little sorry for her. Always having to cover up whenever she went outside would probably be a hassle, though it was better than getting burned. Rosie said that she didn't have any other questions and Brandon nodded as he watched her. He could tell that she felt more comfortable with things now, and for that reason alone he was glad they came here. He just wanted her to be okay, even if he was a bit worried about what all this meant. They'd work through it. Brandon was positive of that. rose harriet granger-weasley @rory

Rory was actually pretty proud of Rosie. She seemed to be handling the adjustments well. She was drinking calmly, didn't snap at him anymore but listened to the information Rory had for her. She admitted that she already knew about the sun, which meant she'd probably gotten stuck in it or something. She didn't look hurt though, so Rory wasn't worried about her in that way. He nodded when she said she didn't have any more questions. "Okay, well her's a pamphlet we have with frequently asked questions and concerns and things. It has the addresses of a few of the local blood banks and such." He smiled, still trying to be reassuring for her. "And if you have any other questions, feel free to owl me directly, if you don't want to come in to the hospital. It's just Rory Williams." There. He didn't think he had anything else to tell her right now. He smiled, "I'm glad. Please let me know if you need anything though." Rory didn't want her to feel like she couldn't come back or anything. He wanted her to feel comfortable with her new change in lifestyle. "Have a good day then," he said, nodding as he left the room once again. @brandon rose harriet granger-weasley (end it!)

Rosie didn’t say anything else besides just thanking the healer in question a few more times. Rory Williams, he reminded her. He said she could send him an owl if she had any more questions and she just nodded with an additional thank you. That enough would show that she was feeling a little more like her normal, overly polite, Hufflepuff self. Rosie stood up and followed the healer out of the room. After they were out of the hospital she let him get them back home and when they got home she slept for hours.
