That was it. Felix was never attending a bottomless brunch again.
The only reason he'd agreed to go was because Madeleine had informed him she was leaving for Dubai in a week for the holiday festivities, leaving him alone except for his family. As a sending off celebration, she'd planned a bottomless brunch with her mates at an overpriced, overly pink restaurant to drown themselves in bubbles. Though Felix was particularly partial to whisky, any sort of libation that would take his mind off the fact that his girlfriend was leaving him for at least two weeks was acceptable. And so the pure amount of prosecco that he ingested within the course of an hour and a half was appalling.
Feeling rather ill, Felix took his leave rather than following Madeleine and the girls to another cocktail bar. He needed fresh air and time to regain his composure. They wandered off deeper into the heart of Mayfair, whilst Felix watched them go. He shoved his hands in his jacket pockets and closed his eyes, leaning against the cool stone wall of the building. This helped with the spinning, but only slightly. Felix thought idly of making his way to the Leaky Cauldron. It would be refreshing to be surrounded by wizard kind after spending so much time in the muggle world. But that was at least a 45 minute walk and he didn't quite trust himself to apparate. Instead, Felix pushed himself off the stone wall, wobbled, then trudged up the street looking worse for wear.
Perhaps he should have just joined the girls and stuck to water. But he only had a certain level of patience. Madeleine often dragged him around with her friends, though he much preferred spending time just with her. It wasn't like he could return the favour - he didn't really have friends. His leisurely pace directed him on the path towards Charing Cross road without a thought, Felix letting his mind wander as he walked. At some point, as he gazed up at the grey sky, Felix collided with something particularly solid. A wall? No, it was a human. "Sorry," he muttered, managing to get out the single word without it being particularly garbled. "Bottomless brunch, you see. Can't be helped," he added, though was unsure of if that was what he actually said.

into the flood again same old trip it was back then Rhys' head hurt. The hangover from just yesterday had honestly had him on the brink of considering never drinking again. But then, after an excellent breakfast and a hangover potion, he felt almost brand new. Well, physically, anyway. It hadn't taken long for his thoughts to catch up to him, and there he was with the whiskey again. This time he'd gone to a different pub, though. It wasn't odd for a friend to see him drunk or even drink to that extent with him, but something about Vasilia seeing him that way had left him feeling strange. She'd made sure he'd been safe for the night and then taken care of him the next morning, so unlike the last time's he'd drank to actually forget, he'd felt rather calm after. It wasn't something he was trying to think so much about, especially with the hangover he was sporting today. As his sisters might have recommended, he was taking a walk. Fresh air, sunshine, maybe some water--well, at least he had two out of three. There were pubs within walking distance of him, and he could at least get some coffee and food and then when the appropriate hour hit--some more whiskey. Rhys walked, avoiding the people that walked past and offering awkward smiles at those that looked at him. Despite how tired his face must have seemed, his eyes were their usual piercing blue. But he looked down when he felt his phone buzz in his pocket, and he took it out but kept walking and took his other hand out of his jacket pocket to unlock the phone and respond to a text message. Maria--naturally wondering what gutter he might have fallen asleep in. It was too early to deal with such a snarky attitude, but he figured he didn't have a choice now that she was carrying his child. Things had been better between them since he returned from Egypt, but she kept him at arm's length, and for once, they might have been closer emotionally than physically. He sent the message and return the phone to his pocket and thankfully did because suddenly he felt something collide with him. Rhys grunted as he steadied himself and also blinked rapidly through the pain that just seared through his skull. A voice apologized, and he realized it was a person and not, in fact, a pole or a brick wall as he might have suspected. "No problem." Rhys muttered, taking a small step back to allow all parties involved their personal space. "Bottomless brunch doesn't sound like a bad idea right now." He thought out loud, at least it would save him money even if it wasn't his usual whiskey. With the month he was having, he would take anything.

Felix was already regretting the brunch immensely. After all, it hadn't really been that fun. Madeleine was too engrossed in her friends to pay him much attention. He wished he was less of a trodden down puppy when it came to her. He would be sure to work on that over the next few weeks. The group split, and Felix wound through the streets of London, the chill air permeating his coat and refreshing his mind. However, he wasn't refreshed quite enough to look where he was going. The man was much more solid than Felix would have liked to admit, as he was muttering apologies. But his reply gave Felix pause.
Scrutinising him with narrowed eyes, Felix said something he never really thought he would. "Fancy a whisky? I think I just stumbled past a bar." There was something not exactly inviting about the other man, but a familiarity in his piercing blue eyes. A sort of tortured soul lay within, one that Felix was quite familiar with himself. One that could only be numbed with libations. "On me if you can tell me a bottomless brunch that isn't just a group of instagram girls who are uninterested in the food and drink and more interested in what their followers think." He was much more loquacious and daring plied with alcohol.

into the flood again same old trip it was back then The man looked at him, he didn't seem upset, however, about them literally running into one another, but he couldn't quite get his expression. And then the last thing he expected to hear from a stranger--well, at least a male one, but it wasn't that kind of situation. Rhys didn't answer right away, and his face went to one of slight suspicion. It wasn't what he had expected today, but whiskey sounded like a great idea to his mood at the moment and to continue to push his thoughts away until he wasn't able to anymore. But then he saw the pain in his face and expression, and it was now clear that he had just left a brunch with a group of girls as he had described. That sounded awful, Rhys may have enjoyed a woman's company, but even then, personality mattered at times. "Doesn't sound like you had a good time then." It was a bit amusing. He could imagine Maria or Deva or anyone trying to drag him to such an occasion and failing spectacularly. Maria would have to set him on fire to go. Drinking for him was about..well drinking obviously, but the company mattered, even if he was just alone. "A whiskey sounds good." He accepted. He'd spent far too much time drinking alone the past week even for his taste. "I'm Rhys."

As per usual, Felix was supremely unconcerned with the trite happenings of everything under his nose. The drink had addled his mind to the point that he could be friendly. Perhaps this knowledge would be useful in the future, provided he remembered it in the morning. It was surprising, therefore, that Felix found himself inviting the other man out for a drink. He had never invited a man out for a drink. He hardly had the courage to ask a woman, nor did he have many friends that would care to get blind drunk with him. As he was already halfway there, Felix decided not to worry about the semantics of it all, and was grateful that his counterpart - Rhys, as he introduced himself - agreed.
"I'm Felix," said Felix, twisting his head around to spot the bar he had just passed. It had not looked very inviting however, much too brightly lit. His head pounded just at the thought of it. "Hang on, give me a second to think of a really not rubbish place," murmured Felix, closing his eyes for a moment. A vague memory of a dark wood pub swam to the forefront of his mind. The Clarence, with it's wide selection of libations and crowded bar would have to do. "So er... what brings you to this part of London?" asked Felix, attempting to sound much more sober than he felt.
The unexpected duo entered the pub not long after they had set off, and Felix mentally congratulated himself on his exceptional navigation skills. He made a beeline for the bar and ordered them two Glenlivets. "Neat, please. Wait -" he turned to Rhys. "Neat? Or..?"

into the flood again same old trip it was back then The way this month and week had been going, his tendency to be more reserved and whatever attempt he had at maintaining control and distance had started to fly out the window. This extreme level of stress wasn't something he handled well, and he found it easier to run into a cave with something unknown in it than dealing with what his new future was going to be. The man introduced himself as Felix, and Rhys nodded to acknowledge him. However, he didn't linger in their introduction as he turned to see where they were or possibly where a bar was. He may have not always been the most perceptive individual, but he could usually tell when someone had been drinking, and Felix certainly had. It was not that Rhys was one to judge for his reason seemed good enough as any to drink, but it was easy to find one. His current hangover was craving relief and the worries in his mind begging to be silenced. "Someone told me fresh air, and a walk helps with hangovers." Rhys spoke, a bit of sarcasm evident in his tone. "They were wrong." He might have been better off staying at home, but whiskey sounded like a much better prospect. They entered a pub that wasn't far off, and Rhys tried to remember if he'd ever been here. The chance was very high though he didn't remember, which meant it was one his list of frequented pubs here. Not that it mattered, whiskey was whiskey. Rhys nodded. Neat was fine. "Thanks." He spoke as Felix ordered their drinks. "So, you from around here?" It seemed polite to make conversation. Though one wouldn't initially ever describe Rhys as 'friendly' off the bat, the trend was always different from those who would buy him a drink rather than take it away.

Felix chuckled at his companions comment. "You would think fresh air and a walk would help, but I seem to recall only hair of the dog being the true cure," he added, thoughtful enough to not add that pepperup potion would also make do in a pinch. "So hopeful. And so wrong," he added with a chuckle, agreeing with Rhys. The pair sidled into the bar, which was busy enough to confirm it was good, yet with space still at a few tables. Instead of doing the thoughtful thing and claiming a table for them to park at, Felix made straight for the bar and ordered two whiskys. He felt years younger than he was, like he was a youthful twenty something again. Roving around London with a strong buzz. Well, Felix hadn't really done much roving around with friends, but anyone who enjoyed whisky was fine in his books.
Passing his whisky to his companion, Felix pondered what exactly made him take this giant leap. It was unwise for him to be drinking this early on a Friday. Just because Madeleine had begged (read - bribed him with an evening of intimacy) him to join the brunch didn't mean he had to continue the trend. Yet here he was, with a stranger, in a bar, in the middle of London. Absolutely wild. Maybe he would tell Fee about this one. She wouldn't believe it was actually possible. After all, Rhys seemed friendly enough. Or at least, in need of a bit of boozy company.
"Er, yes, I grew up in Guildford, went to school in the Highlands and then moved to London for work," said Felix, sipping his whisky. What a welcome reprieve from prosecco. "And yourself?" asked Felix idly. How was it that his whisky was already half drained? "Hmm, do you ever feel like things happen much faster when you're already a bit pissed?" he muttered.

into the flood again same old trip it was back then Rhys half smirked and shook his head in agreement. His instincts had told him that the idea for a walk and fresh air was preposterous, but he figured he couldn't feel any worse than he already did--he was also wrong on that account. "I suppose it's my punishment for deviating from my usual routine." His new friend here hit the nail on the head with his suggestion of the hair of the dog. Rhys typically did if he wasn't working or had some other reason not to be completely sober. Whenever he had to see Maria as her bitterness toward him for not only getting her pregnant but also that he could still drink as much whiskey as he wanted to deal with all, this was ever so noticeable. So, he tried his best not to appear as though he didn't just have a double shot with his breakfast when he had to see her. They entered the pub. It wasn't as if Rhys never had anyone buy him a drink. But typically, it was a friend or a girl he met in a bar--this situation was different, but his past few months had been far different from how he was used to his life being, so he figured what else could happen? Felix looked as though he enjoyed a drink or three as much as Rhys did, and he always welcomed company that would partake as much as he would. Rhys drank his whiskey, despite his body yelling at him for anything, but it also felt good to drink it and to feel the burn in his throat. "Grew up in Wales, school in the Highlands, and I live here, but I often travel for work." Rhys almost echoed Felix's response. And putting aside the fact that Hag's Fever had kept him home for more than six months that had been his life, though he wasn't sure what the future would look like now. Maybe it was his own exhaustion, but it seemed he was drinking faster than normal, though his new normal as of late had been quite fast--or so it was pointed out to him. But Felix had a point. It seemed most of his situations he ended up were due to too much whiskey--or an entire bottle of bourbon in some cases. "Indeed it does. Things seem to happen before I can even think about stopping them." Rhys' brow furrowed as he lightly swirled the contents of his glassed and stared at it intently for a mere moment before drinking more.

Felix chuckled. "If your usual routine involves heavy drinking, then I consider us comrades in arms," said Felix lightly. He considered Rhys for a moment, thinking of his sister. Fee would be so proud of him for making a new friend. Even if he wasn't quite a friend, more of a stranger with the same drinking problem as he. Felix remedied the problem with two glasses of whisky. Regardless, Fee would be surprised to see him branching out. He wondered what Madeleine would think. He'd turned down her offer for more prosecco with her friends in favour of a lonely wander that had ended up less than lonely and continuing to drink. As much as he loved his girlfriend, he did tire of her constant need to be seen with a gaggle of beautiful girls. None however, were nearly as beautiful as her.
Swallowing a mouthful of whisky, Felix responded briskly and succinctly. Rhys echoed his sentiments, which gave Felix pause. School in the Highlands? No one would be quite so vague unless they were speaking of Hogwarts. Whenever he was asked the question of his schooling by muggles, Felix always responded indistinctly, moving swiftly on. He found that muggles would always reply with the name of their school, or at least the local authority. Felix wasn't even very sure where Hogwarts was located in the Highlands. "It would seem we come from similar backgrounds then," mused Felix, but said nothing more in case his instinct deceived him.
The whisky was a welcome reprieve from bubbles, and Felix commented that things seemed to move more quickly when one was drunk. He checked his watch. He'd left Madeleine and her clan over an hour ago. "See, I could swear I've known you for only three minutes but it's been nearly an hour," Felix pointed out. "Time is a funny thing. Imagine if you could travel through it and revisit the times you've forgotten," he added, a slight grin on his face. There once had been a way to travel through time, but now all time turners were destroyed. As an Unspeakable, Felix had intimate knowledge of the goings on within the Department of Mysteries. He wondered if Rhys knew anything about time turners. Surely, if he was a wizard as Felix suspected, he would.

into the flood again same old trip it was back then Rhys was never short of friends to drink with, but they all had comments on what they thought the appropriate amount to drink was. It was surprising how rare it was to find a kindred spirit in this. When he thought about it, he could grab a drink with Alfie when he was free from his teaching obligations or whenever he'd run into Mina, but everybody else didn't have the same tolerance that he did. Rhys gave a friendly smile. "I wouldn't say heavy drinking." Rhys paused. He was only lying to himself with that statement. "Everybody else seems to think so, but I feel that it's normal for me." It couldn't be helped if he needed more to drink due to his tolerance than his friends did. He craved the buzz as much as they did after all. Though perhaps the only time he drank and hardly received an effect was when he visited the Violet Hound, though he never left there in a bad mood necessarily. Rhys gave his new friend a curious look. He knew how Wizards and Witches typically responded to such questions from his travels. In a way, it became 'spot the wizard' in a muggle town, and typically, they weren't hard to find. The Highlands, Hogwarts' infamous location. "It would seem that way." Rhys drank more whiskey, he wouldn't be surprised if their similar backgrounds extended as far as magic, but he didn't want to assume. "I take it you've visited the village near the school?" There were many villages, naturally, but one, in particular, that was relevant to him. Rhys looked at his whiskey glass, a reminiscent expression on his face for a moment. "I missed a lot of visits being in detention, unfortunately." It was non-specific, and if it were a muggle, they might just brush it off and assume it was just some fancy school they hadn't of in an area they had never been to. Rhys checked his own wristwatch and didn't think it had been that long since he'd rolled off the couch and out for some fresh air, and after Felix commented on Time, Rhys drank a rather large amount of whiskey from his glass. The thought unsettled him and made him think if there was perhaps something he would want to go back and visit. "I'm not entirely sure I'd want to, would you?" Magic made it possible--, or it used to be, and though tempting, he wasn't sure if he would ever take the opportunity himself.

Felix shrugged, feeling very nonchalant about the whole situation. "Why does it matter what other people think?" asked Felix, waving his glass as he spoke. He considered delving into his whole jaded nothing really matters, we all return to the universe at the end and our time here is just a drop of water in the ocean of forever monologue, but spared Rhys that boredom. He swallowed a mouthful of amber liquid, revelling in the fire that ran down his throat rather than the bubbles. When he had left Madeleine and her clique, he hadn't really expected to continue drinking. Felix thought he'd go for a bit of a walk, then slink home. And yet there had been something about bumping into Rhys that engaged Felix within the first moments of meeting.
"Would you believe me if I told you I never missed a Hogsmeade weekend? Or that I was never in detention?" asked Felix, name dropping the infamous town to confirm what he assumed Rhys was also prying at. They were one in the same. Having no friends and keeping mostly to himself meant Felix didn't get in trouble at school. He kept to his own, never sneaking out of bed after hours or entering forbidden corridors. Upon joining the ministry, it meant his inclination for following rules was rewarded. And any time he was out of his bed after curfew was with the express permission of the astronomy professor. When he had indicated to her that he had a great interest in the field, she occasionally allowed him to bring his telescope up to the tower to view some of the most wonderful phenomena.
Felix idly wondered about travelling back in time - he knew the ins and outs of time travel, but all time turners and therefore time travel were destroyed. Rhys stated that he wouldn't have taken the opportunity. Felix pondered his own answer. "I suppose I might, if only to get my head out of my arse before the age of thirty," he murmured thoughtfully. "Though I suppose even the tiniest change would have a massive impact on the future. Most certainly, even a moment of change in the past would lead to us not being here in this very moment. The universe has a funny way of working, don't you think?"

into the flood again same old trip it was back then Felix had a good point, what did it matter what other people thought? It had been something he had pondered over the years and especially when he was younger, but he couldn't help it. This inner drive and something to prove that he wasn't his father's son or anything like that monster. Maybe it was the source of his tendency to be so stubborn and unyielding in his path forward. "I suppose it doesn't entirely, but not all of us have the privilege all the time." Brushing off what people thought of him would bother him more than it helped him, but he supposed it was just something so deeply ingrained in who he was at this point. Rhys drank more whiskey and slowly placed his glass down when Felix responded to his comment on the village and detentions. His suspicions were now confirmed, though he supposed his new friend might have been wondering the same. "Never? Really?" Even with the best intentions, he managed to find himself in a fight or some kind of incident. Rhys shook his head at the memories. "I'm pretty sure the Professors and Prefects were just waiting for me to get in trouble. Though a few times, it was warranted." Pranks with Ilija had been his favorite part of his later years and part of his school years' highlights. Rhys paused. He was pretty certain they were on the same page now. "What house were you in?" Rhys hadn't recognized his face, and he hadn't recognized Rhys either, so he wondered if their paths had just never crossed. Time. Not something Rhys thought about often, or he didn't try to. It seemed his life was on a timeline now. Twelve days until the year ended, seven months until his child was born, and somehow in those seven months, he still had to talk to his family about the situation. Two months since he'd seen that Seer who'd told him unbelievable things until they were now believed. But Felix had a point. Perhaps going back to specific points in time and giving himself a swift kick hard enough to knock some sense into himself wasn't a terrible idea. It was an interesting way to look at things, though Rhys would have to confess he didn't typically wrap his mind or try to with such concepts. Things were as they were and hardly shifted, at least from his point of view. "I guess it depends on what you end up changing. How pivotal it was to now." Rhys thought about moments in his life where he had reacted instead of thought. Breaking up with Deva in sixth year, or when he was severely injured in a tomb--had he taken one step to the left, how would that have gone differently. What if he'd stayed in London after the Triwizard tournament? Would his brother still be alive? He drained the rest of his glass. His thoughts needed to be numbed. But then that crystal ball the glimpses that the seer had seen came to mind. If that was foretold, then how would every path he took now lead to the same result? "Do you think that somethings are just fated to be?"

"Really, really," responded Felix promptly. He'd been a good student, following the rules and nosing into books rather than other people's business. "Feels like my good behaviour has slipped in recent years," he added, examining the glass in his hand. "Whisky is really the only reliable thing in my life." At that very moment in time, his statement felt wholly true. But deep down, Felix knew that it wasn't -- his sister and his girlfriend were reliable. Well, Madeleine was mostly reliable, except for holiday plans. "What sort of hijinks warranted the worst detention? I heard of doing the cleaning the muggle way, scrubbing bedpans for the hospital wing." Felix pulled a face. He couldn't really imagine many worse things than having to touch other peoples excrement.
Felix appraised Rhys before speaking. In the years before he had gone to Hogwarts, there had been a lot of distaste for Slytherins. Felix felt as if he quite embodied the determination, ambition and drive characteristic of his house. His singular focus on understanding the mysteries of the universe and his desire to see his research through. But equally, Felix thought maybe his cleverness could have landed him in Ravenclaw. "I was in Slytherin. What house were you?" asked Felix mildly, as if he hadn't just had an internal debate raging through his mind. Rhys did look a bit younger than him, but not much. He wondered why they hadn't crossed paths in the past. "I graduated in 2012 though. I've used magic to hold my bones together for you to see the skinbag in front of you," he added with a half smile.
Knocking back the rest of his whisky, Felix commented on how even the smallest of moments changing could lead to a drastic shift in the future. "I think you could argue all moments have an equal impact on the equilibrium of time," he mused. Rhys lapsed into silence, and Felix ordered two more glasses of whisky. He let his fellow ponder.. whatever it was that he was pondering as he sipped the new drink, sliding across his plastic card to pay. When Rhys asked if he thought things were just fated to be, Felix almost snorted with laughter. He did in fact choke on his whisky, and his eyes were streaming as he answered. "I don't believe in fate. I don't believe something's been set out for us since our births. I do think things just happen and even an instant can change the course of life. I don't even really believe in the nonsense of Divination, though I know it's taught at school. It's all a bit of... well, a waste of time. We don't have much of it, and yet we worry so much about the past and the future rather than living in the present."

into the flood again same old trip it was back then Rhys tried to recall how many people he knew of his friend group had gone without detention. Everybody seemed to earn at least one for whatever reason. It could have been for speaking too loud in class or, as in his case, punching someone in the face. Still, Rhys nodded in agreement. ”Whisky will never let you down.” It was reliable, stable, and didn’t cause too many problems that you didn’t foresee. Well, now that he thought more on that point—that was a lie. A bottle of bourbon had led to his current situation, though even he had to admit at some point that he as a person was a factor in that situation. Felix inquired on what would have garnered the man as a young teenager detention, and Rhys couldn’t help but smile fondly at his misadventures. ”Well, I was bullied quite a bit in my younger years.” Rhys wasn’t all that bitter. It was expected. ”And whenever my temper would get the best of me, a Professor or Prefect happened to turn the corner.” He recalled his constant fight with timing on that note.
Slytherin house still had its reputation, even though he’d heard stories of how it had improved somewhat since the last War. But as long as infamous names as his own lingered, it would never completely clear. When he’d been in school, he’d often wondered what had earned him a place in that house. Maybe it was his name. Between his quieter personality and intellect, he would have fit in better in Ravenclaw. Still, he supposed his internal drive and a persistent chip on his shoulder might have convinced the Sorting Hat otherwise. He had always been ambitious. He wanted to prove he wasn’t what everybody thought he was, even if it didn’t work out for him a lot of the time. ”Slytherin as well.” He replied, but he didn’t recognize Felix’s face, so they must have been enrolled at completely different times with little overlap. This was confirmed shortly after. Rhys nodded, ”Your final year would have been my first.”
Rhys pondered Felix’s words. These were topics and thoughts he never had delved into before. Even with Curse Breaking topics, there wasn’t much of a need to think about time outside of knowing long ago a tomb had been sealed or how old an artifact may be. However, Felix seemed amused as his question—though very few people ever believed in fat, and Rhys had been one of those until a seed had been planted in his mind. However, he had managed to talk himself into a sort of disbelief after a few weeks in Egypt—the fact that Maria was pregnant was a mere coincidence and a product of their own reckless behavior. Even if he hadn’t been told what was in that crystal ball, the odds that he would be a father was relatively high considering his lifestyle—as much as he didn’t change or wish to admit it. New glasses of whiskey arrived, and Rhys took a hearty drink from his own. He could only hope that Felix was right, and nothing was set in stone just yet for anyone.
”Well, for my sake, I hope you’re right.” He admitted with a half-hearted smile. Divination had been the bane of his existence in school, and he’d been happy to drop the elective course when he’d been able to and take something he felt was worthwhile. It gave Rhys a thought and something he had pointed out his third year and naturally earned detention. ”I was happy to drop Divination and pick up other courses. The Professor at the time had actually given me detention for ‘insubordination’ in my third year. I'd insisted that reading tea leaves and ‘guessing’ something would occur would, in fact, make it occur—a self-fulfilling prophecy.” It had been one of the few times Rhys had spoken voluntarily in class as he’d been so frustrated at how ridiculous it was. Still, it made him feel better about what he'd been told by that seer and his current situation.

Felix made idle comments about how whisky seemed to be the only thing in his life that held him together. It wasn't that he didn't have other things, but whisky was stable. It was always there while other people and things wandered in and out. Where life was a string of events, whisky was his stagehand. Ever trustworthy, ever present. Felix looked incredulously at Rhys. "You? Bullied?" he echoed, disbelieving that the young man before him could have ever been done in. Rhys explained that he had only started Hogwarts just as Felix was finishing, a fact Felix merely shrugged off. He was used to working and spending time with people younger than him. He didn't feel old ever either, especially considering his jaded outlook on life.
Mentioning time turners and time travel perhaps had been a big of a bold step, Felix thought. All things considered, he mused aloud that all things were equally impactful, all events in the long history of time equally important but having had meaning assigned to them didn't change that resolute fact. He went one that there was no use worrying about any time other than the present, that it was useless to try to divine the future or define the past. Rhys admitted that he hoped Felix was right, and Felix knew he had found someone with a common often dark outlook.
Felix chuckled as Rhys regaled him with his antics. "I can imagine she didn't like that very much," he said with a grin. "I had enough foresight not to ever take divination, funnily enough. What did you end up replacing the class with?" asked Felix, taking another sip of his whisky.
