Comfort was quickly replaced with passion between the two of them. They always got entangled in one way or another and Xantha had never had a bad night with Emrys. There was never a fear he'd get committed while she wasn't willing or a concern that he'd try to murder her or anything. He was safe to be with in this way and every way that this indulgence of them was linked to. She didn't see him as a trophy or achievement but as a friend and she didn't feel like he saw her as nothing more than a doll to mess around with. Sure, they had started off far more in that direction, mutual sources of entertainment, but by now it was about sharing something fun. Something that repeated but also something neither of them were bound to. That is what made it so fantastic. For just a little while they would belong to one another and afterwards they'd go their separate ways until they happened upon each other again or (a much more rare feat) actually called on each other for some entertainment.
His touch still sent shivers of excitment and anticipation down her smile, releasing little breathless gasps of anticipation. He agreed to her suggestion and lifted her and his strong arms lifted her up. She wrapped his legs around him, locking herself in place like she knew perfectly well to do. A dancer didn't learn how to use their own body only but also the one of their dance partner. That often came in handy in situations like this. That and her flexibility that had meant quite a few creative curves and positions in the past. His kiss was hard and demanding and she responded in kind, all the gentle and kind touches of earlier all but forgotten. It didn't last long, but as she felt the rush of cold air against her bare arms she couldn't help but smile in delight. She was going to freeze and overheat all at the same time and she was looking forward to it. Het sat her down on the railing but she could feel her balance wasn't tipped over the edge. This was still perfectly safe. He moved his hands under her shirt and she breathed in sharply, biting her lip slightly for a moment before he kissed her. She could almost taste his hunger as her own desire for him grew. She needed him and kissed him back with ferocious intention to show it. When he pulled away and kissed her neck she felt herself almost waiting for what she knew by now would likely follow. A sharp sting, but dear goodness she loved the feeling. She moaned slightly in pleasure, looking at the stars that twinkled above them. What a perfect night this was.

Xantha was a friend to Emrys. He cared deeply about her, and enjoyed her company. The two of them had a physical fire that he shared with most of his friends. But something that was different form the others was the fact that the girl was a muggle. This made her a toy to him. One that he could play with to his hearts content. As long as she was having fun, she didn't complain. And in the mean time, he could enjoy himself. Here and now, she was his to play with. She had committed to him for this night. But once it was over, she would leave, and the two would go about their lives until their next encounter.
As their passion grew the soft caresses vanished. She locked her body to his as he moved to their desired location. His lips diving into hers, longing for something just out of reach. With their position secured, she kissed him ferociously. He knew that she wanted him as much as he wanted her. When he moved to her neck, teasing her by letting his fangs softly trace over her skin. He knew she liked it, and he did too. She moaned as he moved. After that, he bit, sinking his teeth into her neck, pulling her harder into him. Closing his eyes he drank. Feeling her body movements in time with his. He had been hungry before they had met up, this satisfying snack was just what he needed. After a short time, he released from the girl, licking up all evidence of what he had done, the holes closing up. He needed her to last the night, so he was careful not to take too much. He would bite her again, that was for sure. The more he took, he would ensure that she took the potion.
He pulled away, breathing deeply with a smile. His hunger barely sated. Emrys took a chance to look up, watching his breath swirl up as he breathed, taking a look at the stars.

Of all the partners she'd had over the time she could easily say some were better than others. Some she'd been with to pay the bills and she wasn't ashamed of that. She needed to eat after all. They had rarely invested any effort into making it comfortable or even pleasurable for her. Those were the ones she looked back on with boredom. There was the group that was with her because they wanted to be more than just a fleeting moment, doomed to fail. Those always tried too hard to make her happy and while she could easily abuse that, it always felt like it was a lot less fun when they forgot themselves for her sake. That just grounded them in a twisted version of reality they wanted to be in, and made her fun a lot less. Another group was reserved for guys that wanted to add her to the list. While it was often mutual fun many of them just were not as good as they wanted to be. They were cocky and arrogant and their egos deflated ever so easily when she refused to bloat them for them.
The last group held Emrys. Those were the people that genuinely just wanted to share a good time and knew perfectly well how to use their body. They didn't pretend that they wanted an attachment, nor did they seek gratification as a way to boost their fragile ego. Those select few were a breath of fresh air in a dusty old coffin. Those people made her feel alive. Emrys had another thing going for him though, something she'd never encountered before. She wasn't sure if it was the games or the love bites but he was one of the only ones that had ever gotten her to feel lightheaded and she absolutely loved the feeling. It brought back memories of endlessly practising her spins and seeing how often she could spin around her axel in a short period without getting dizzy. The effort it took and the thrill of improving. Being dizzy got more and more rare and she rarely felt light headed, except around him. It was a thrill, but not something she was going to get addicted to. Just a fun little bonus to make their encounters so much more fun.
As he kissed her neck she felt the familiar lightheadedness kick in and she tightened the grip her legs held on him, making sure she wouldn't be at risk of falling. Being so far up with the noises of the street barely audible made her aware of her own mortality and that alone might have made her dizzy if she had not been so distracted. He pulled back and she moaned softly, smiling slightly as she watched his breath swirl and joined with the shallow puffs of air that escaped her lungs. The cold was pleasant against her skin and she relished in the feeling. She laughed softly in delight. "You know.. the cold of the night makes sharing body heat so much more appealing." She muttered as she leaned in, pressing her body closer to his again, trailing her hands over his back until she found the edge of his shirt. She snuck her hands under, feeling the warmth of his body under her fingertips and smiling at the sensation. The night was cold but it felt like between them they could heat it up better than a nuclear plant.

Emrys had a reputation. He flirted with just about anything that breathed, and would sleep with anyone who was up for it. As much as his manager efforts to swell this, the reputation remained. True, there were those who thought they could change him, or that they would be "the one." Where he would look deep into their eyes, fall in love, and change his ways. Those had to learn the hard way, things like that only happened in the movies. Most that he spent his time with understood exactly what it was. Usually a one night deal, something to tell their friends about. He got a fun night of entertainment and pleasure, they got the same, and on top of that, bragging rights. Though the list was long.
Emrys also had a number of friends. Those who he was friendly with, close to, and would quite often play around with. He didn't need anyone to fan his ego, it was large enough at present. Little could deflate it too. He was a cool, confident predictor. Famous by his music, and antics. He didn't usually start the night with biting his entertainment, but he was hungry, and he knew she liked it. It was the perfect way to start this evening, out in the brisk winter air. She talked about the cold air making their experience better and he laughed. "How about we share some more." He said, feeling her hands under his shirt. He held her close to his body, if they could get any closer. Hungerly pressing his lips into hers, unable to get enough.
It didn't take long for the heat and passion to over take him. As time passed, the two were on his bed, the double doors wide open, letting the cold touch their bare skin. This only encouraged the two bodies to draw closer, and create more heat.

There was always something about Emrys that brought Xantha to keep coming back for more. Not because of some special connection or whatever, she wasn't into the entire romance thing. The idea of repeatedly sleeping with the same person as often as she did with Emrys would have been absurd, if not for his total lack of commitment and his skillset that just kept her hooked. Not to mention he was pleasant company because he never seemed to expect anything from her and he was actually willing to help her out in a tight spot, such as with David earlier. All in all, she kept coming back for more. Maybe he was one of the few close friends she had by now, even if she didn't really know him all that well. Perhaps better that way, since she wasn't sure she'd like what she'd find out if she did try to ask questions.
He liked sharing bodyheat with her and that certainly helped to speed things along. His kisses were hungry, as if she was there to satisfy his appetite for the night. Well she wasn't about to say no to that. She smiled slightly but it didn't stop her from letting her own desires roam free with him. They never spent too much time waiting, always tending to get to the point. She was curious how they were going to manage to keep it all up the entire night, but far too interested to find out by experience. It led to places, and before long they were on his bed, even if the doors were wide open. They had each other for heat, and Xantha loved that. She shifted slightly, as they had a short break between what was no doubt the first of many tangled messes of the night. She sat up a moment and looked out over the patio, still somewhat mesmerised by the view and location of his house. It was much nicer than her own. She glanced at the glass of wine, pulling a face and draining it quickly so she had a place to put some water. "Would you like any more wine?" She asked Emrys, figuring that it wouldn't be impossible to find the wine. She'd just grab herself some water.

Emrys didn't mind repeating physical partners. Some he had more than just a physical relationship, but it always ended in the same place. Xantha and Emrys were purely physical. He knew next to nothing about her, even though they had gotten together a number of times, and even had a texting conversation going. But the fact was, they kept colliding, and he wasn't complaining one bit. For tonight, he was hers, and she was his.
She fed his hunger as he kissed her, passions raising. She was there to satisfy his desires just as much as he would satisfy hers. Finding themselves eventually on the bed, the separated a little for a moment, Emrys breathing deeply. He moved to his glass and finished it off. Not that he needed it. "I'm good" He was much more interested with another red liquid. He watched her as she went to get water. He chuckled to himself, leaning back a little, reminiscing in what could be considered a very satisfying night.
After some calm revelry, he moved to close the patio doors. He had to be sure to close all the blinds and curtains before the sun came up. He may have had plans to enjoy the remainder of the night with Xantha, but he also needed to ensure that he stayed away from the sun.

Xantha had waited a moment before heading to the bathroom for some more water. Since he didn't want wine she didn't really see the point of getting to the living room yet. She was sure they'd end up there sooner or later. She drank several glasses of water, if nothing else she wanted to wash away the wine. It tasted good, but it still wasn't the most healthy liquid in the universe. She took a moment to drink the first glass, absently rubbing her neck before putting the glass down and heading back toward Emrys.
--Just gonna insert that time skip here xD--
It had been... quite the interesting night. Xantha felt absolutely exhausted and she'd lost all sense of time. Luckily she wasn't due for rehersals until three in the afternoon today so she wasn't too worried. It couldn't be all that late, although it was very hard to tell the time with the blinds he had. They certainly had to be good quality because she hadn't seen any sign of dawn or morning. After she wasn't sure how many rounds of fun she felt completely worn out but utterly satisfied. She sighed deeply for a moment and looked over at Emrys. "I'm gonna grab some food. I'm starving." She said, getting up from the bed and heading down the stairs. They had never really been the sharing types. They had an understanding that their bond was physical and not emotional, which made things easier, even if they were confusing at times. Xantha threw on a bathrobe from the bathroom before stepping down the stairs, wondering what kind of food Emrys had lying around. So far it had only been hotels and that meant she'd ordered room service. Mostly because if she left the room the bodyguards he had didn't always like the idea of her going back in, that much was obvious. So roomservice. This was probably the first time she'd actually be making her own food while still in his company. It was a strange idea.
Still she made her way down and ended up in the kitchen, a little surprised everything here was dark as well. She glanced around at the instruments, a little daunted that she'd been so woefully unobservant the night before. She peeked through the blinds, surprised at how late it already was. The sun was up and the city seemed to be teeming with life. They certainly had been up a long time. She chuckled, shook her head and went over to the fridge. She noticed a locked one, which was a bit odd. Who put a lock on their fridge? Unless they needed to cool bodyparts. Oh well, as long as she wasn't in it. She opened the fridge, grabbing what looked to be a take out salad. It didn't look like he had regular eggs or bread. She hummed softly as she managed to locate a fork after a while, noticing some of the posters on the wall properly for the first time. Were they.... moving? She blinked a few times. Had to be some rich people thing, probably cost a fortune. Animated posters, now that was really excessive.
She glanced around a little more, noticing some pictures of him and what looked like his family, or well, video's since they were moving. Digitalised video frames, now there was some technology she could get behind. Here he was, living high and mighty while she was still wondering when she could afford to buy an actual dining room table. She smiled as she shook her head, pouring herself another glass of water. She walked to the bottom of the stairs with the food and the water and called up to Emrys. "Do you have a TV or newspaper?" She called out. She'd probably just watch or something short or read while eating her breakfast and be off after that, if Emrys didn't mind that was. If he did mind she'd be quick enough to get her clothes on and head out to work early. She hadn't checked the clock yet but she wasn't fully sure if she had time to go back and forth to her own apartment for a change of clothes. It seemed unlikely. Not to mention that she hadn't actually spotted a TV but considering all the weird technology in this house she wouldn't have been surprised if it was based on voice commands and came out of the wall.

As expected, the night was quite a fun one. After getting some sleep, Emrys was awoken by the woman whom he currently shared his bed with. He knew the sun had long since risen, but he had ensured that everything was closed up by a simple push of a button during the night. He looked up at her when she said that she was going to get some food. He had drunken enough from her last night, but he smiled. "Grab whatever you want, and bring it up here." He spoke a little groggy. Giving her a little kiss "Bring me something?" He didn't care what, he gave her a sweet, almost puppy dog look before she left to grab a robe from the bathroom.
He didn't mind her poking around his place. True he had some magical objects, but she wouldn't think them strange. He had told her not to after all. She mentioned getting food. He had a number of drinks and sweets in his fridge, along with a number of take out containers passing a number of foods. She was welcome to whatever she wanted. After their night, she had deserved it.
She called up to him, asking about a TV or newspaper. He still lay there, sprawled on his bed, sheets partially covering him. "Don't have cable, or newspaper deliveries. Anything important, my manager just tells me" He called back, Plus, she wouldn't be interested in the wizarding news, nor would he let her see it. While he did have a projector and makings for that, it was mostly for movies or recordings, not live television.

So he didn't have newspapers or TV since his manager kept him updated. Now that was a whole different level of living outide of reality, but then again, he was rich. She didn't really read more than the occasional headline, or online articles if there was free wifi. At home she just leeched off the neighbours to keep the bills lower. She walked back to the fridge then to grab him a random container of food. Since he'd ordered it he'd probably like whatever it was and she almost expected him to have a maid to clean up after him and remove any food that gad gone bad.
She made her way back up the fairs, balancing the plates and her glass of water a little awkwardly but she managed. Smiling slightly she handed him the plate she'd brought him. "I just grabbed you something random so I hope that's fine." She said as she threw the robe off on the floor before crawling back into the bed again. It was a lot more warm and cozy, although she wasn't about to cuddle up to him, no matter how sweet he smiled at her to get her to bring him food.
She took a few bites from the salad, tryibg to keep herself from showing too much that it was delicious. She often got cheap salads because they were the best she and Mavis could afford that didn't require an oven or microwave. Still, this was clearly a more fancy salad and it had stayed good in the fridge. It probably cooled food better than the run down thing in their apartment did. Xantha suspected that thing functioned better as space heater than refrigerator. She took a sip from her water, covering herself with the sheets a bit. "Did you sleep well?" She asked conversationally, not even sure if she expected a proper reply. They hadn't really been in a morning after situation all that often since one of them usually had places to be. It was a nice enough change though.

Emrys didn't exactly live in reality. His manager ensured that he did, at least a little. But aside form that, he did what he wanted when he wanted. He didn't have to live in reality, he was a successful vampire musician who had a wand and knew magic. For a muggle, what part of that was realistic? Xantha made her way back up, giving him a plate. It wasn't one that contained sweets, seemed as though she had an idea of what made a meal and what didn't. Again, he wasn't picky. Holding the plate as she shifted back under the covers, he settled himself, moving to the side, and propping himself up on one arm.
Emrys wasn't against some cuddling, but at this point, they were eating. Enjoying their food in his extra large bed. This was the life. The food on his plate was some weird eggplant parmesan, so he just picked one up with his fingers, taking a bite. He much proffered sweets, but his aunt ensured that he ate more than just "crap". Not that he needed food, but he enjoyed eating. He nodded as she asked about his sleep. Smiling he swallowed and spoke. "It's always good to get some exercise before bed." If you wanted to call what they did excursive. "Do you have another show tonight?" He, as a performer, understood that what the audience saw was only the tip of what actually went into a performance.
Enjoying the morning, and eating, he honestly didn't even notice the sound of his front door opening.

February 2026 @emrys and @xantha
Emrys had texted her the night before about "being alive". Basically his way of telling her that he either A had been off the grid for a while and didn't want her calling a search party for him or B was going to be off the grid for a while. It seemed to be the latter though, but that was a real problem. He had a photoshoot the next evening. She'd immediately texted him back, to remind him not to miss it. But... nothing. No response. He kept read receipts on his phone for her, so she also knew he hadn't even looked at the text. Clearly he'd turned his phone off. Great.
A problem for the next day, she supposed.
And the next day did come. Still no word from him. Though slightly to be expected. Emrys was a late riser. She was lucky if she could get him out of bed before noon. It was starting to seriously bother her though because at this point she didn't know if he even remembered about the photo shoot at all! So, it was time to finally just go track him down herself. She was pretty positive he'd be home. So, on her way she stopped by the usual coffee shop, getting a very large coffee to go. The baristas knew her well, and knew who the coffee was for, and so they overloaded the poor drink with sugar. To the point that most people would be gagging. Emrys loved his sweets, and it was always a good motivator for him.
Charlotta eventually arrived at his building and headed up to the penthouse. She had a spare key, so she let herself in, not bothering to knock. She never did. She set the coffee and her purse on a side table, and then glanced around. There was Emrys' phone and cast belongings. She retrieved his phone. There was also a pair of female shoes. Great. Well, she knew what she'd be finding today. It didn't stop her from heading up to the loft.
Where she found Emrys and a young woman in that excessively large bed of his. Disheveled from a night of fun, and definitely not fully clothed but at least she wasn't seeing any body parts she didn't want. Her expression was one of exasperation and you could practically read "Really, again?". Clearly this wasn't the first time she'd walked in on her nephew in bed with someone. She tossed the phone onto his bed to him. "If you keep turning your phone off I'm going to put a tracker on you."

Morning after talk wasn't something Xantha often engaged in. She was usually the type to either have the guys leave before morning or to crawl out before the morning came herself. Sometimes both just left but there was ever so rarely any interaction in the morning and especially sleeping next to somebody that essentially was a stranger was very uncommon for her. It meant risking forming an attachment, which Xantha absolutely didn't want to do with anybody she'd slept with. Friendship at best, which was what she choose to call what she had going on with Emrys now. They barely even knew each other but there was an odd sense of mutual trust going on. While Mavis seemed to be falling in love, Xantha avoided it like the plague. So his sweet attitude was lost on her, even if she did respond to it. He was a good guy, clearly, which was why she kept coming back to him.
She was just eating her salad as she heard footsteps on the stairs, which caused her to pull up the sheets to cover whatever parts of her were not yet covered. Even if it was a maid, she wasn't about to show everything off. Besides that she was fairly sure half her clothes had been lost outside on the patio. Oops? As the woman practically marched in and threw his cellphone on the bed with what could only be described as an expression of pure exasperation Xantha fought not to smile. She grabbed the robe from the floor and put it on herself around the sheets before stepping out so that she wouldn't expose herself to the woman and gave Emrys a bit of a wry smile. "I think that's my cue to leave." She said, spotting her clothes in a heap nearby. Probably better. She grabbed her things and went into the bathroom to get changed and closed the door behind her, ready to give the pair some privacy. She wasn't sure the woman had the patience to wait for her to get out the door. She turned on her own phone, noticing it was fairly late already. She definitively wouldn't have time to go home and change, what a bother. She sighed and tugged her clothes on, quickly washing her face in the mirror. Well, she'd have to do without brushing her hair today until she got to rehersals. So many questions were sure to be coming in. She groaned softly in frustration before quickly texting Mavis that she'd be home after work but was okay. She pocketed her phone then and opened the door again.
"Don't mind me." She muttered, holding her hands up as she headed to leave the loft and make a beeline towards the front door. Whatever kind of drama this was, she didn't exactly want to end up in the middle of it.

Having a light conversation with a friend was normal for Emrys, even if it as considered "morning after talk." They had been quite intimated, and then slept in the same bed together. There wasn't much else to think about. Just because it had happened, didn't mean that they were a couple now. They both knew it.
The two ate their food, when the sound of footsteps seemed to interrupt their morning. Emrys wasn't phased by the arrival of his aunt. Unaware as to what time it was, it did seem a little early for her to be here. He glanced at her, undaunted by the look on her face. It was a regular one. He set down his food and reached for his phone. Giving a little smile at Xantha, who seemed quite shell shocked at the whole interaction. It wasn't a surprise to him. Most who didn't know Charlotta and were in Xantha's position acted in a similar manner. The girl went to the bathroom and Emrys turned back to his manager. "Now look what you've done, Mom. We were having a nice morning, and you just had to come and ruin it." Often referring to his aunt as "mom" she really was like a second mother to him. He spotted the coffee. "That for me?" He asked turning on his phone.
Taking the chance while the woman was in the bathroom to summon some boxers and pajama pants, he slyly put them on under the sheets. The girl then came out of the bathroom. "We'll have to meet up again sometime" He flirted with a smile and a wink at her. Though she was sure that the girl would want to be leaving sooner than later, thanks to a certain unpleasant presence.

Charlotta didn't recognize the girl Emrys had in bed, though that wasn't a surprise. Actually, it was a bit of a blessing. Because there were a few people Charlotta really hated catching Emrys with. A rather volatile night club dancer came to mind. God, at least it wasn't her again. At least it meant he'd been discrete with this new girl. But he must know her semi decently to bring her back here. Which meant this clearly wasn't the first time he'd slept with her. The girl quickly scurried off to the bathroom. Charlotta watched the girl for just a moment before looking back at Emrys with that same exasperated expression.
It was endearing how he sometimes called Charlotta mom. She was his aunt, clearly, but it spoke volumes. Most people just thought the way they interacted at the label was how htey always interacted. They didn't htink about the fact that Charlotta had babysat him quite often when he was growing up, or that she'd been the one to teach him all about music. They were incredibly close, and there were times when Charlotta took on a very motherly role for her nephew. "It's not morning," was her quick, unamused, response. Though, then he seemed to notice the coffee. "Yes. Practically pure sugar." He liked his sweets, and his coffee orders were so sweet it was disgusting. But it worked. She'd trained the baristas at the coffee shop well, so they could make it exactly how he liked it.
The girl stepped out of hte bathroom and started to beeline for the stairs that she was half blocking. Immediately Charlotta put up her arm, placing her hand on the door frame so that the girl's quick escape would be blocked. She didn't look at the girl, but obviously she was well practiced in this situation. "Did you do anything unsavory to her that needs to be resolved?" She asked slowly. She wasn't saying it exactly, but her eyes were basically demanding to know if he'd drank from the girl and he needed to ensure she didn't go blabbing about Emrys drinking people's blood to the public.

While Xantha had planned to not get in whatever kind of thing was going on here, the woman had a very different idea. Xantha smiled slightly, a cheeky little grin as Emrys said they should meet up again sometime. She winked at him. "You can text me any time you'd like." She promised him with a chuckle and a wink. That was naturally when she got to the Interruption that didn't give her a clear path towards the exit. As she heard the woman ask if he'd done anything unsavoury Xantha almost wondered for a moment if she knew who she was talking to. It wasn't like she was the girlfriend, right? No, there was no way she'd be so calm about all of it considering the two of them hadn't exactly been dressed in any fashion that suggested their nightly endavours had been anything remotely decent.
She raised an eyebrow at the woman for a moment as she crossed her arms. If she was going to be in the crossfire she was a little too stubborn not to at least have her say. "I sure hope he did some unsavoury things." She said, giving the woman an almost confused look. "Otherwise I sure hope you wouldn't have found us in a position like that. If you're worried about his reputation since he's famous or something, don't worry, I only tell my roommate I'm out because she appreciates knowing I'm not dead. Apart from that I'm not really the type to kiss and tell." She couldn't imagine what else the woman thought but there was no way she was going to play innocent to this woman since there was nothing credible about this.
Xantha wriggled her nose and checked her watch, realising it was later than she'd thought. Well, perhaps the interruption wasn't so bad after all. She really didn't want to be late to rehersals after all, least of all with the option of David blabbing on her being out late last night. He'd definitively hold that against her, since he didn't seem like the type to handle rejection all that well. "But if you don't mind, I do want to catch my bus because I don't want to be late for work." She said, hoping the woman would just let her pass at that point. She shot a quick look at Emrys, almost pleading for him to help her get out of this. They'd had their fun so the least he could do was kick her out of the house, right?
