Emrys knew that Charlotta had strong opinions of many of his "regular" friends who stayed the night. Mostly, she did not approve of any of them, though to different levels and for different reasons. This being Xantha's first time, his aunt would not know who she was. Though he was sure she wouldn't approve of the fact that she was muggle. Charlotta always found a reason no to approve. This one's toxic, that one is boarder line stalker, their not your friends if you just me them at a club, or she's a band mate. Emrys chose not to focus on the negative, it was all in good fun. In most instances, he didn't bring someone home for the night unless he trusted them to some extent. Anyone else, he made sure they didn't know where it was when they left.
Out of bed and with some pants on, his manager ensured that he was aware that it was not actually morning, but it was his morning either way. He gave a toothy grin when she said the concoction was his. There was one that he normally got his coffee from, and the baristas there had his order down. There really was only a few there who could do it right. He took the sweet drink and took a sip of the sludge. To anyone other than a sweet loving vampire, it would be too much. But Emrys loved it, and swallowed happily.
Xantha left, the bathroom, dressed, and seeming to be in a hurry to leave. Making sure to mention their texting. It was official, she was a friend of his. He gave a suggestive wink back to her. She knew he would, and he also would know that she could always call on him too. The older woman stopped her though. She had yet to speak, or fully acknowledge the dancer. mentioning something "unsavory" actions. Xantha spoke up before he had a chance. As the younger girl spoke to the record company owner, and manager of Emrys, the boy couldn't help but snort a laugh. He then took another sip of his drink. After she was done, he clarified "We took plenty of breaks, and each had plenty of liquids" He winked. The term would have a double meaning. Did he drink from her? Yes, many times. Did he ensure that she drank the potion? absolutely. He wasn't a monster after all.
It did seem that Xantha was realizing how late it was, and needed to get going. But Charlotta blocked the only, muggle way down from the loft. Had it been Emrys, there were many ways he would get down. Spotting her plea to him Emrys looked at Charlotta. "Mom, you wouldn't want anyone to be late, would you?" Now Emrys was regularly late to band rehearsals, but he was always there when it counted. But he didn't plea for him, but for his friend.

February 2026 @emrys and @xantha
Charlotta was still giving Emrys that stern look when the girl responded, answering her question to Emrys herself. Charlotta's gaze immediately turned to the young woman. Her expression when ice cold, the sort that she got when someone was trying to talk to her or interrupt her in a business meeting. Charlotta was a very business savy woman, but she was also quite cut throat. You didn't make it in this industry if you weren't. "I was speaking to you," she immediately responded in a commanding tone. "Believe me, little girl. THe only reason he has a reputation is because I make sure girls like you that he drags home don't go bragging."She didn't really pull the "I'm his boss" card often, but it was true. She was the owner of the label, but also his personal manager. She'd taught him everything she knew about music when he was growing him. She'd brought him to the label when he graduated and had the desire. She'd fronted the cost of his demos. While his fame was his own, it was no secret that his aunt had played a major role in getting him where he was... and also keeping his reputation somewhat respectable.
She glared back at Emrys as he responded himself about liquids. Smug bastard. HE looked so proud of himself. It made her frown. At the very least though he wasn't concerned. So he must have already taken care of it in some capacity. Or... well, he never worried about anything. But he hadn't moved to take care of it when she'd mentioned it, so he must feel confident in how he'd resolved in, and felt Charlotta would at least accept the resolution he'd already reached. They both seemed keen on letting the girl leave though, Charlotta's eyes narrowed before she finally dropped her arm and stepped away from the stairs, freeing the access. "She better not be another one of your stalkers. I already had to up your security from the last time one found your address." It wasn't a secret that Emrys had a few stalkers... One in particular was proving very bothersome. But some of them were easy to get rid of once they fell on Charlotta's radar. Though they were still a pain in the ass to deal with.

Xantha had very little interest in Emrys as a celebrity. She'd never heard of him before meeting him and hadn't listened to his music endlessly after either. It was fine, but she had far more important things to worry about than whether or not the famous musician even spared her a thought at any point. She almost hoped he didn't, unless he contacted her for a fun time after. Being in the minds of others while they had nothing to do with you often meant they wanted more than Xantha was ever willing to indulge in. Woman such as this one (which Emrys had refered to as his mother) were definitively not people that Xantha was overly interested in staying around. Even if this had been an actual relationship people like her never approved of their precious progenies hanging out with or dating street rats like her. She knew her place in society. She was the rebellious phase at best, but they all went back to their mamma eventually, and the comfortable lifestyles she provided. If she were lucky she'd grow old in a small studio apartment in the company of whatever cat would follow Spot after he'd passed. She was never the long term commitment, so she decided she didn't want to be either.
It wasn't exactly that Xantha didn't have a long list of things to say back, but the woman was irritable enough as it was and Xantha was already late, so she took the verbal abuse. It wasn't like she didn't know she was unwanted and unwelcome to this world, but that didn't mean she wasn't going to live in it regardless. Plus, it wasn't like anybody but perhaps David was going to believe her if she said she'd slept with a famous musician. She gave a polite smile to the woman. "It's not like anybody would believe me if I tried." She said briefly before heading down the stairs, hearing the remark that was casually tossed at Emrys as she was departing. Well the woman certainly had no respect for her, which was fine. Very few people did. If she'd known this was going to happen she'd have left sooner because honestly? People were a pain to deal with. She put on her shoes and sighed deeply for a moment. Looked like it was time to run, because unlike what she said, she didn't actually have the money to pay the bus fare. Or if she did it meant that other things could not be paid and well, she had plenty of stamina. So after she left the building she started to jog towards work. It was going to be a long day.

Xantha spoke up, and instantly the eyes of his aunt were turned to her. The woman's expression was something that Emrys knew all too well. It didn't phase him too much though. He stayed out of it after that. Charlotta wasn't one to be messed with. Though he was sure Xantha wasn't the bragging type. If she was, she would have already done as much. But he knew that she could handle herself.
Emrys only put his two sense in with helping Xantha leave. The woman did move so that the girl could leave, but not without mentioning his stalkers. Emrys shrugged. "Do you really think I'd bring a stalker home. Please, I'm better then that." And if anyone that he did bring back with him had the potential of being a stalker, he was careful. For starters, he wouldn't let them wonder freely around his penthouse. And at the least, he would ensure that they didn't know where they were when they left. His actions on the contrary to both points only proved that he trusted Xantha. He peered over the loft railing and watched the woman quickly escape his penthouse, off to her real life, whatever that looked like.
With the sound of the front door click closed, he turned back to his aunt, swallowing's some coffee. "Did you have to be so harsh?"

February 2026 @emrys and @xantha
Charlotta kept one eye on the unwanted visitor. Damn Emrys, always bringing home companions. At least it had only been one this time, and as far as she could tell drugs hadn't been involved. So... she could at least accept that this wasn't a wild party. The young girl eventually left down the stairs and the woman turned her eyes back to her nephew. "You've done it before," she retorted. While he wouldn't intentionally bring home a stalker... HE had a tendency to attract new ones. He had horrible self preservation like that. Though, at least he didn't bring most his one night stands to the penthouse. No, the penthouse was reserved for his more consistent sleeping companions. But that didn't mean she didn't plan for the worst.
He sipped his coffee, made sure his companion left, before turning back to Charlotta, who had pulled out her phone and was typing away. She didn't look up when he spoke. "Depends, would you have actually gotten out of bed on time if I hadn't?" She asked slowly. She stopped her typing to look up. "Just finish getting ready. The hairstyle and make up artist should be arriving in the next half hour. The sooner you're photoshoot is done the sooner you can get back to your 'fun'." That was how she always had to word things with him. Remind him that if he did what she wanted, he'd get rewarded at the end.
(OMG..... we never finished this. I thought you finished it)
(Now, I'm calling this END!)
