are you ready for this? Are you hanging on the edge of your seat? April 18, 2026 Diana was starving. So much that her hair had turned dark and stayed that way. As if all the color had begun to wither away as a sign of her starvation settling in. She had waited in that line with Cara and Penelope this entire time, though thankfully they had shifted from the topic of inappropriate fanfiction in case Penelope fainted of embarrassment. Truthfully, she might have too at that age but it was amazing how much things changed in such a short time. How many times had she walked into Club Indigo for a drink? Especially when the bartender was nice to look at, among other things.
They had ordered and while Cara and Penelope waited near the front, Diana had wandered back through the crowd to find the bathroom. Standing in a line that long wasn’t good for one’s bladder. On the way back she’d stopped by the table, Dustin and Persephone were at and they looked about as starved as the rest were. It was truly a family reunion, though she noticed Peyton hadn’t quite wandered in yet and neither had Kinsey. But she didn’t expect her with such a crowd, that would be overwhelming. Diana pushed past someone who was just standing in the middle of everything on their phone and just generally in the way and she bumped into somebody else in the process.
For the love of Merlin, she was tempted to stun a path through this crowd. Even with magic, there was hardly a reasonable or safe way to carry that much pizza back to their table in this pandemonium. I’m sorry--i’m just trying to get through.” Looking up she knew that face. Aside from the article in the paper, she knew her from school. ”Oh--hey Rusti.” Diana had heard quite a bit about the island and she’d chatted with Sarah about it too, but she probably figured Rusti was done talking about it.

April 18, 2026 It had taken forever for them to get their pizza. Penelope hadn't realized how much she was going to miss having food magically appear on the tables from the kitchens below, but the wait for food at the pizza parlor had changed that. Arms laden with half the pizza boxes they needed—since Diana had wandered off and Cara was coming with the other half—Penelope was wandering around in search of the table at which Dustin and Persephone were supposedly seated.
She found Diana before she found Dustin and Persephone, catching sight of her sister in conversation with what looked to be a few other people. Penelope didn't really want to bother them, but she knew how hungry she was and assumed that Diana was likely pretty hungry, too. "Oh, erm… Di!" she called over to her, balancing the pizza boxes to the best of her ability. She couldn't exactly wave but didn't want to appear rude, and she assumed that Diana would at least see that she had pizza with her at last.

▲ She really should have known that this Cade Woodward fellow was part of the Daily Prophet. She had been fielding (and semi-fleeing) reporters both as Isla and as herself for the last few weeks. This guy, though, she was almost positive that she hadn’t interacted with at all. But again, there had been so many new and unfamiliar faces trying to check up on her and make sure things were okay or asking questions that they all melded together into one giant super face. There were more people that definitely knew who she was now than previously, and also sort of felt bad for poor Isla who was now dealing with everything Rusti had done as her for the month. It wasn’t too bad considering she had played the amnesia card fairly hard, but that still posed problems. The reporter excused himself as apparently Blishwick was hailing him, and Rusti was about to do the same with Honey as she needed to figure out what to do next, when someone bumped into her and apologized. Turning around she recognized the girl as Diana Bainbridge, one of the twins from her year but in Ravenclaw. Thankfully Rusti and her sister had never been confused with Diana, but she absolutely had with the other Bainbridge twin, Cara. She didn’t really see how there could be a resemblance aside from both of them being blondes. That was just poor manners in her opinion. There was a call for Diana, and Rusti’s gaze traveled to the girl that looked similar enough to her, probably meaning that was one of the younger Bainbridges. She hadn’t seen any of the triplets in a number of years now, and couldn’t remember if the one calling was the one that liked to cry a whole lot or not. “I think your sister is calling for you,” she pointed, noticing that Cara was also approaching said younger Bainbridge as well. @tag ● XXX ● song by artist MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOX 2.0

▲ Pizza was acquired, and now it was time to find the rest of the family. Unfortunately, that meant wading through the crowd again, which had only thickened and become more of a mess as they waited in line. Cara wasn’t having any of it though, and had no problem shooting nasty looks at hyper third years or fanataical fifth years that were boasting about being in line for the second time already. At this rate, anyone that entered for lunch early enough and was able to get back in line at the right point in time could probably get through again by dinner. In all honesty, it wasn’t a bad system at all. Except that it annoyed the ever living daylights out of her now. She was sort of used to screaming children, loud talking, and food messes because of her job. This took on a whole new meaning though, and it wasn’t just the students this time. Some of the adults were just as loud and messy as the teenagers were. It was sad. They were also absolutely indignant about moving out of the way as she tried to follow behind her sisters. Eventually she spotted the back of Penelope’s head, stopped near Diana and another girl. As she got closer, she realized it was Rusti Flint. They didn’t get Rusti confused for her again, did they? That had happened a weird amount of times over the years, to the point where Cara was glad the two of them were no longer in classes together. She didn’t understand how there could be a mix-up though. Especially recently, as Rusti had been plastered all over the Daily Prophet twice now in as many months. It seemed like she had been spotted by the Flint twin, who pointed at Cara as she approached her own twin. Merlin that was confusing. Maybe that whole mistaking each other thing made sense now that she thought about it a little longer. “Did you find a table?” she asked the other Bainbridges as Rusti turned off in a different direction, probably not wanting to deal with whatever Cara was going to say to her. That was for the best. She had never really liked the Flint twins, though did sort of feel bad following the loss of their parents. That whole situation was strange, to say the least. @tag ● ### ● Song by Artist MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOX 2.0

are you ready for this? Are you hanging on the edge of your seat? April 18, 2026 It had always seemed that during their time at Hogwarts that people would often confuse Rusti and Cara. Even if, in Diana’s mind, they didn’t look alike. Plus, they had been in different houses as well--didn’t Professors pay attention to that kind of stuff? Rusti didn’t really say anything and pointed out a young girl calling her--Penelope. ”Right. I’ll see you around.” She gave a half-smile and headed toward her sister who looked like she was drowning in pizzas. By the time she got to Penelope, Cara had also caught up to them. ”Yea, Dustin and Persephone are there.”
Diana grabbed some of the boxes from Penelope, if they weren’t careful in this crowd the triplets would turn into twins. She paused and looked at the crowd before her. The thought crossed her mind of using some kind of charm that would safely (or not safely) push a path between people. That probably would have been smart of Bliswick to create safe walking paths, but also this type of chaos would leave people talking for weeks, if not months afterward--free publicity. ”Ready?” Diana looked at her sisters and began to walk through the crowd, mumbling apologies though she was mindful of where her wand was because the next fifth year that gave her a look was going to get a hex. ”Why didn’t we make Dustin get the pizzas again?”

April 18, 2026 Fortunately, it didn't take long for Diana to come over and help her with the pizza boxes, nor did it take long for Cara to catch up to the both of them. Penelope felt a little bit bad for cutting short Diana's conversation, but pizza awaited them.
Diana took some of the load that she'd been carrying, making it easier for her to see what was going on. It didn't make the restaurant any less crowded, though it helped a little. She could at least see where she was going.
"Ready?" Diana asked.
"Ready," Penelope confirmed, knowing that they were going to have to make a break for it or wait for the pizza parlor to close before the crowds thinned out. She followed as closely behind Diana as she could without ramming any pizzas into her, glad that she wasn't the one in front. Having to weave through people and apologize to them constantly got tiring.
It seemed Diana was feeling it, too, because she then asked why they hadn't made Dustin get the pizzas.
"I'm not in Ravenclaw, am I?" Penelope whined with a slight laugh, though she was mostly just hungry. They could have been waiting at a table and chatting, but no. Dustin owed them one.

▲ It seemed like they were all in agreement that the bulk of the work getting placed on them, whilst Dustin and Persephone found a table, was sort of ridiculous. Cara knew it had to do with their brother’s rise to Quidditch fame, and how it was easier for him to hide away in a corner with a silly disguise on, but still. Half the time it was like he barely existed anymore outside of family get-togethers or functions where one of them forced him to show up. Other than that, she felt like she only ever saw him mentioned in Quidditch articles. Ones written by that burn out of a Gryffindor classmate, what's-his-name. At least he mentioned Dustin on occasion. The agreement to push through the crowd and towards the table was mutual, with Diana leading and Penelope close behind. Cara placed her hands on her younger sister’s shoulders to try and form a makeshift line, so as to keep them all together and avoid anyone bumping into their tiny group. She had seen a few spills already, and that was the last thing she was going to allow to happen to one of her sisters or her pizza. Too much time had been spent waiting in that damn line. “Over there?” she called ahead to Diana, though was unsure if her pitiful attempt at communication could be heard over the sudden screaming of what sounded like Lily Potter from somewhere nearby. That wasn't an unusual noise, considering the Potters lived across the street from the Bainbridge family. Of course the little flunky would be here and losing her goddamn mind all at the same time. @tag ● ### ● Song by Artist MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOX 2.0

are you ready for this? Are you hanging on the edge of your seat? April 18, 2026 Diana gave a look behind to her younger sister when she answered Diana’s question. While intelligence was associated with Ravenclaw house it was hardly a guarantee in Diana’s experience. Not to say the twins or their sister Kinsey were unintelligent but somehow they’d been the ones stuck in line for these pizzas and having to push through this crowd. Dustin had convinced them that it was better he stay back since he was a famous face. It was true but Diana didn’t think it was to the extent that her older brother thought it was.
But, despite everything Diana focused on the path in front of her. Boxes in hand and Cara in the back as they sort of protected Penelope in a way. From what she had heard in line in terms of screaming, loud gasps, and many heads turning in the same direction--a few had fallen in the crowd. There wasn’t any talk of serious injuries so she assumed they were fine now. Diana could barely hear Cara over the crowd but she glanced back and then in front again as she thought she spotted blonde heads at a table.
”Lets go around this group.” Diana walked a little further and figured out where the noise was coming from. She pushed past familiar red hair, Lily. And her brother James was being just as loud. He looked almost identical to their school days, same demeanor and messy hair. ”Sorry--excuse me. Just trying to--sorry.” Diana felt herself getting annoyed and once they’d gotten past the Potters, who didn’t seem to notice them she’d had to elbow a rather tall Slytherin boy who was just standing in the middle of everything on his phone. Finally, she could see her other brother and sister up ahead. It was work to get them all in one place, even if they were missing two today. Normally it was the trouble of Dustin’s availability but lately, it had been Diana’s as well. ”Finally…” She mumbled.

April 18, 2026 Luckily, they neither ran into anyone nor spilled any of their many pizzas en route to the table. Penelope hadn't realized just how heavy pizza boxes were until she set them down, but she was glad to do so. The pizzas were there; everything was good, and hopefully Cara and Diana wouldn't be bringing up those awful stories again in front of Dustin, either.
Just as Penelope was about to check with Dustin about which pizza was his, she saw that he was in conversation with two other professional Quidditch players, Mickey McLaggen and Claricia Freund, the latter of whom still counted as a Quidditch player in Penelope's mind, even if she had retired from the sport. Not about to bother them, though, Penelope found herself a seat and waited.

April 18, 2026 Clearly, Claricia had come to the Happily Ever After Pizza Emporium on a Hogsmeade weekend because she was a masochist. She felt like she had been at a fan event again—and not in a good way. She had lost count of the number of people who had come up to her to ask for her to take photos with them and sign things. Not wanting the media to portray her as some sort of villain for denying regular people a little bit of interaction with her, she had obliged and allowed herself to be put on display again.
A part of her wondered how many more such chances she would get and how long it would be before she would become far less notable than she once had been. Fame didn't last forever, but she also hadn't earned hers overnight. It would have been nice to have some balance, Claricia thought, between being the Quidditch star that she had been and being the woman who was just trying to get her life in order following a tragedy.
At least she had never been known for having a particularly warm demeanor, Claricia considered as she finished what remained of her personal pizza. As she was leaving, though, she had ended up in conversation with Mickey McLaggen—a sort of arrogant kid, but she could deal with that—that had ended up including Dustin Bainbridge as she and McLaggen passed by where he was sitting with his family. Merlin's beard, she hadn't realized just how big his family was, nor did she know his sisters' names for the life of her…

▲ Cara was tired. She was tired of hearing Lily Potter screaming. She was tired of asking people to politely move out of the way. She was even tired of having to smile at the regulars from Fortescue’s, who seemed to think they were friends or something. Just because she was doing her job and being nice when she was behind the cash register didn’t mean she was friends with any of them. That was all part of the job. Obviously there was one exception to that, but no one had really brought it up yet and she certainly wasn’t going to go around divulging that to anyone on her own. She followed Diana’s lead through and around a larger group, letting her twin make the apologies was easier than doing it herself, and she instead made sure the pizzas were secure in Penelope’s hands the entire way. They were worth more than goblin’s gold right now. It seemed like Diana led them in the right direction though, and soon she saw Dustin and Persephone sitting at the table, two others standing at the edge. Obviously she recognized Mickey McLaggen, another one of their neighbors back home, and rolled her eyes hard at him from behind his back. She had always disliked his attitude, even if it had led him to be a semi-decent player. Circling around the Quidditch player, she wiggled by him and started to sit down, “Move in Dust,” she said loudly, purposely ignoring making eye contact with McLaggen. If his head was still intact after all of the bludger impacts over the years, he’d catch on and move along. @tag ● ### ● Song by Artist MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOX 2.0

▲ Team bonding event. Why was it always that? Mickey felt like he had been on more of those than actual matches since the start of his Quidditch career, and it had amounted to nothing. The team operated best when they were practicing or clubbing. Getting pizza together seemed like such a waste of time of all of theirs, especially when they needed to be running drills right now. But he also wasn’t one to question the coach or general manager. That was a one way ticket to the trade portal or being benched. Especially with the way the season was going so far. There was only so much he could do as Keeper when he didn’t have an offense or defense operating in the correct fashion. After they had all finished making their individual pizzas and chowed down, the team dispersed and Mickey decided to see if he could find Raphael, since he figured his brother would be lurking about the pizza parlor. The kid could knock back slices, so it made sense to him that he would be around today. Before that could happen though, he bumped into Claricia Freund and then Dustin Bainbridge. Talking shop with the two of them had never really happened before outside of fundraising events where they were required for press purposes (or suffer a fine), so it was sort of liberating to have this one chance where they weren’t also being hounded by reporters. Yet. Mickey was in the middle of asking Dustin about a play he had made in his previous match, when he felt an elbow dig into his side, followed by the frowning face of Cara Bainbridge shoving her way into the booth. Where one Bainbridge was, they all were. Mickey took that as a sign to leave. “Good talk Dustin. Nice seeing you again too, Cara,” he tacked on at the end as he turned and made a face at Claricia. Longtime grudges from neighborhood pick-up matches. He didn’t recall ever doing anything horrid to the girl though. “Guess we should leave them be?” he asked Claricia, but knew that his time to talk was probably running out with her as well. He wasn’t the best conversationalist, and she always seemed stuffy to him even if that wasn’t the case. @tag ● ### ● Song by Artist MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOX 2.0

are you ready for this? Are you hanging on the edge of your seat? April 18, 2026 Finally. They had arrived at the table. Dustin was talking to Mickey, an old neighbor of theirs, and Persephone looked relieved that they had finally arrived. Cara unceremoniously pushed past Mickey and took a seat next to Dustin, Diana scooted in the spot that was next to hers and began opening the lids of the pizzas to distribute them. She might have normally felt bad about Cara elbowing someone to get past them, but it was Mickey and also she was too hungry to care. Quidditch had not become a family sport for the Bainbridges as it had the McLaggens or the Potters, not that it was altogether uninteresting.
Diana wondered why Mickey wasn’t with his brother, who was in Penelope’s year but wouldn’t have been surprised if he couldn’t find him. ”This one’s yours Dustin.” Diana closed the lid and handed the box to her brother who looked hungry enough to eat the box. The next pizza was Cara’s, and she handed her twin the box, with the bottom being her own. Penelope had her own pizza and Persephone’s. Finally. They could eat.

Good times never seemed so good I've been inclined, To believe they never would April 18, 2026 James tossed his and Lily’s empty pizza boxes in the charmed trash bin. If it hadn’t been charmed it might have overflowed enough to fill half the parlor at this point. He was a satisfied customer and so was his sister, who had decided to run off and meet some friends. Somehow, all those carbs and cheese had not messed with her energy levels at all but he figured she might crash later as she usually did from a sugar high after their Uncle George would visit. James glanced around and looked for anyone else he knew, figuring he could say hi to old friends or whoever was here before he decided to leave. Naturally, his eyes stopped at a table where he recognized Dustin’s mop of blonde hair and the blonde hair of his sisters. Naturally, Diana’s shifted blonde as he watched her open her pizza box.
Next to them, more familiar faces but one that he had not met. Ruffling his hair he approached the pair with that usual friendly smile of his. ”Mickey!” James greeted his old neighbor. James also greeted the long time quidditch star, Claricia. ”Did Mickey ever tell you how I used to knock him off his broom when we were kids?”

April 18, 2026 The Bainbridge girls seemed to be a little bit frustrated by their presence and the fact that they were taking up their brother's time, and Claricia understood that. It was McLaggen, though, who mentioned that he guessed that they should leave them be, and Claricia nodded her head in agreement with that statement. There wasn't much that she could really say to converse with a bunch of teenage girls, either, she didn't think. She had been a teenage girl herself and all of that, but she didn't think that she could really relate to them all that much anymore.
One of the older girls mentioned to Dustin that his pizza was there, and Claricia looked to McLaggen. "Yeah," she told him. "I should probably—"
At about that point, James Potter came over, and Claricia was momentarily distracted. That was also partially because James mentioned that he had knocked McLaggen off his broom as children—and the way in which he worded it made it sound like it hadn't been a one-time occurrence.
"Really?" Claricia asked, actually letting out a dry laugh as she looked between the two young men. Obviously, James had parents who had played Quidditch—his mother professionally—so it was obvious that he must have picked up a thing or two. She also wondered how much James was simply saying that to goad McLaggen and see his reaction.
