And in the middle of my chaos, there was you ¦ Lulu

After a summer of hanging out with and hooking up with Lulu, Arlo was satisfied enough they had made up for lost time. It was made even better when they both had decided to avail of the transfer to Ilvermorny for their final year. Although they hadn't been sorted into the same house, it hadn't stopped Arlo spending as much time as possible hanging off Lulu and acting like a general lovesick fool in her presence. He was a whipped boyfriend and Lulu loved every moment of it. Georgie had made fun of him over the summer for it, even after she had grown used to seeing Lulu around their house so much, but she knew deep down that Lulu made her brother stupidly happy, and as long as it stayed that way, she didn't care much. Arlo had even gone as far as bringing Lulu to a family dinner at the Bletchley residence and although they thought Lulu was a little eccentric, they liked her.

With a particularly busy week of NEWT prep behind them, Arlo had told Lulu to meet him in the Gardens of Ilvermorny for a surprise date. He assumed she didn't know that was where the Portkeys to the Lunar festival were, but he couldn't be sure.

Anyway, he stood and waited for her to arrive, butterflies in his stomach the whole time.

Life at Ilvermorny was a different world from Hogwarts. Lulu had trouble getting into the swing of things at the new school but she was having fun. Her only true complaint was her life at the school was adapting to life without quidditch. She played QuodPot on occasion but it wasn't as satisfying. All the Keeper wanted was for someone to try to toss a quaffle toward her face already.

When Lulu got the text from her loving boyfriend requesting her to meet him after class in the gardens for a date, she couldn't seem to get the stupid smile off of her face. The thought of having a date or any alone time at all with Arlo excited the purple haired snake. She couldn't believe how much things have changed since the previous years between them. 

As she finished her study period, she made her way toward the gardens. Almost immediately, she was greeted by the sight of Arlos tall frame. She skipped over to him, not wishing to waste any more time. ”My looove,” she sang happily with a dreamy smile. Lulu spun into his strong arms, wrapping her arms around his neck with a happy squeal before kissing him soundly on the lips.

Lulu pulled away from the kiss, only because she was excited to tell him something. ”Found something while studying in the library and thought of you..” she shared with a slow spreading smile from ear to ear. Lulu tried to keep it a mystery to see if he'd even try to guess, but she had a hard time hiding anything from Arlo these days. Her eyes widened with excitement before digging deep into her over shoulder bag to reveal a glossy comic book wrapped in a plastic sleeve. "Comic Books.." she revealed with a happy dance, shoving a copy of 'Spider Man' at him that he definitely owned at home in his expansive collection, but it was almost comforting having a piece of home in her hands. "They have a comic book and manga section. I don't know anything about manga but it looks like comic books and people read them backwards or something. And there's a lot of boobs. Some kid said the teachers haven't noticed that yet, so to enjoy that while it lasts." she spoke fast and animatedly, quite proud of her discovery today while she should have been studying.
