Hogwarts Rebuild Name Suggestions

Alright everyone!

Our speed up is coming to a close in 60(ish) days! So, it’s finally time to decide one of the most important points of the education restructure (aka Hogwarts rebuild)! And what is the most important points? The names obviously!

In particular the staff would like name suggestions from all our amazing members! We’ll be gathering name suggestions for the month of April (or if we get a ton of suggestions before the end of the month we may end it early). After getting all the suggestions we’ll open a poll with all the names suggested!

So what kinds of names are we looking for?

The schools we need names for are the following (with short descriptions). The campus as a whole will be called Hogwarts still!

Elementary School (ages 4-11) : all children of magical descent attend this school, even squibs. They don’t actually learn magic but they learn basic skills, history, math, reading/writing and so forth.

General Magical Education (1st- 5th years): basically think of this as junior high/middle school. It’s all the general classes all students have to take. They take their OWLS at the end of fifth year.

Specialized/Higher education (6th-7th year, and beyond): this is sort of three programs but they will have the same building. You will have the NEWT students, “university” students (like a regular university), and those that have to do specialized job training (such as Aurors, curse breakers, healers, etc). Basically any education needed after OWLs.

So please, start sending in name suggestions!!! You can post them here in this thread if you want, pm them to Admin Sora or dm them to Sora on discord!

I would like to suggest:

1. Something in memory of Albus Dumbledore for one of the school divisions

2. Something named after a major donor/member of the Board of Governors of some sort who has never actually done a thing for the school (because realism)

3. Pigfarts (Not actually, but please get the reference.)
