Nightshade Family Tree

I am working on writing up a more in depth history for the Nightshades, so please reach out to me if you have questions before it's up! BUT some info that affects all of them:

• The Nightshades have a "Main House" and then obviously other houses wherever their immediate family wanted to live. The main house is where their Grandfather, grandmother, Grandfather's mistress, and father/uncle Melekhov live.
• Some of the grandchildren also reside at the main house but only once they have proven to be true contenders in battle for succession. Basically you only live at the main house if the Grandfather recognizes your potential. 
• Any grandchild that was raised at the main house would have been home schooled. Those that didn't reside at the main house had the option to be home schooled or attend the Russian magical school.
• The Grandfather's word is absolute law in the family. He tells you to jump and your reaction should be how high. Disobedience to him is not tolerated. On the other hand though he expected all of his offspring to be wolves, and those that can't cut it must be culled. 
• The Nightshades have no real love for family. Family is often a tool, alliances formed when beneficial and broken when not. They will easily betray each other and yes.... they have indeed killed (or played a role in causing) family members. 
• Yeah, the family is extremely wealthy. They make a huge chunk of their money through the black market. Particularly they specialize in magical creatures. Both goods and breeding. And yes, highly illegal and extremely dangerous. 
• They totally have a good number of politicians in Russia (and even some other countries close to Russia) in their pockets (through bribery or blackmail). They have also without a doubt made people disappear they didn't like. In at least the area of Russia they live they have basically everyone in power under their control in some way, making their completely untouchable. Obviously this reach doesn't transfer outside Russia, but they still have a terrifying influence outside of Russia. 
• They are 100% a pureblood and blood supremist family. Only take it to the extreme. They also believe that only the strongest and most worthy of purebloods are superior. So yeah, they definitely believe in a hierarchy even within the pureblood world. Anyone that isn't part of that hierarchy is a lesser being.

GENDER: Male (or at least born male. He can identify differently if you so choose.)
AGE: 1 July 2005
SCHOOLING: Koldovstoretz
POTENTIAL FACES/FEATURES: Christopher Mason shown above. But anyone that would pass for Russian is fine!
REQUIRED DETAILS: He was raised in Russia but not at the main house, and slightly separated from the main family.  Refer to his twin sister's history for their upbringing! (APP HERE)
PREFERRED: Nope! Nothing comes to mind!
OTHER DETAILS: He is the 5th born of Myshelova Nightshade and Azure Selwyn (deceased 2006). His three oldest siblings are all deceased however (killed in the Nightshade chaos). Valentin Nightshade (1994-2000), Dmitriy Nightshade (1997-2022), and Stella Nightshade (2000-2026). He is the younger twin between him and Dreama.

So since we somehow name dropped Dreama before, it puts this branch of the family in a unique situation of being more separated from the main Nightshade family. He's only a nephew of the current head, and there were no deaths in their immediate family between 2006 and 2022, so it creates a good span of time for you to have some fun with the history. His sister was at least a chaser on  a championship team in 2026, so definitely not the expected life path for a Nightshade.

NAME: Pyotr Nightshade
GENDER: Male. I've always referred to him as male so his gender and identity is pretty set.
AGE: Born 1990. You can pick day and month!
SCHOOLING: Homeschool graduate
POTENTIAL FACES/FEATURES: Ian Elkins shown above, but super open! The family is Russian so as long as he can pass for Russian it's fine!
REQUIRED DETAILS: Pyotr is the oldest out of all the grandchildren and also happens to be the favorite of the patriarch to be the next head of the family. He enjoys a number of privileges and power in the family due to this favoritism. All of the other children (even Rose) are at minimum wary of Pyotr and watch their step around him. If there is anyone that could get away with literally anything, including breaking the only rules the Nightshades do follow, it's Pyotr.

Due to the extreme favoritism, he was raised at the main house and home schooled by private tutors. While his siblings can choose if they went to a school or were homeschooled he would have been home schooled so that his father and grandfather could be personally involved in his education.
PREFERRED: I have always envisioned Pytor as a very dominating force, and someone that knows he holds all the cards. Basically just really living up to the standard of being a favored child of the Nightshade family. BUT I'm honestly open to however you want to play him as long as we can still see why he's the favorite.
OTHER DETAILS: He has a complicated history where his parents are Teplov Nightshade and Violetta Antonovna. His father was killed by his uncle Melekhov in 1995. To make it even more complicated? His 3 half siblings were fathered by Melekhov (making them both his half siblings and cousins at the same time).... One of his half siblings (Andrei) was killed by Fenrir is 2011. So yeah, his uncle killed his father to basically get with Pyotr's mother. Quite the mess!

It's a well known fact among the Nightshade family that Violetta (Pyotr's mother) is the favorite mistress and thus holds the most power within the family. She would do anything for her children, including offing her childrens' half siblings (she attempted to poison and kill Rose in July 2027 but Rose survived). No doubt this favoritism has messed with his head to at least some degree, because this particular part of the Nightshade family has had the least amount of deaths. It's strongly due to the amount of power Violetta holds, and then Pyotr's status as their grandfather's favorite grandchild.

It IS planned on his mother being murdered soon! The exact date is still to be determined, but keep that in mind.

REQUIRED DETAILS: While she's no doubt been in the thick of the Nightshade drama, she's probably been extremely sheltered from a lot of the physical danger to herself. Explained in other details in more depth, but she's no doubt been able to enjoy the safety of her mother and eldest half brother being highly favored. But aside from that she's very open! Even how you interpret that slightly sheltered upbringing is open!
PREFERRED: Nope!
OTHER DETAILS: This girl is the daughter of Violetta and Melekhov. Her eldest half brother/cousin is Pyotr, and she has 2 older full brothers, Andrei (killed in 2011 by her half-brother Fenrir) and Hargus born in 2002. She does have the complicated family life of her eldest half brother also being a combination due to the shadiness of two Nightshade men (her father and uncle) fathering children with the same woman. She had a number of half siblings (cause Melekhov had multiple mistresses), but only 3 of them are still alive (Pyotr who we already discussed, Fenrir, and Rose).
