Ozzy didn’t think twice about the invitation to the Vector’s home for a summer party. The summer months made him miss home, especially their proximity to the beaches in California and the dry heat. While the temperatures were higher, it was far more tolerable. The temptation to shave his head kicked in around this time. But he didn’t, and sometimes his older sisters would take pity on him and leave a cooling charm so he didn’t overheat and die. Soon, Ozzy always told himself. One more year and he’d be able to use magic outside of school and apparate! He wasn’t sure which one was more exciting.
Monday had offered to side-along apparate Ozzy to the front of the Vector home. Apparently, that was as far as she had gotten due to work, which saved Ozzy the hassle of finding other transportation. And he was excited to see his friends as well. Theo confirmed via text message that he would attend, and the weeks without his delinquent partner in crime were long. Monday didn’t linger, only reminding Ozzy to behave, and Ozzy eagerly promised to do so. He was also curious if the rumors of the triplets’ mother were true—that she was a MILF.
While he wasn’t familiar with the property, it did remind him of the homes of some of his mother’s friends back home. Well, without the neighbors so close by. Southern California was limited in space, not that it stopped all sorts of charms and things to fit estates where people wanted. Approaching the gate, Ozzy looked for some button to press or signal he had arrived, but the gate seemed to open automatically. His brow furrowed in a bit of confusion on how that worked, but as he approached the house, he heard a voice from somewhere. Turing all the way in place, Ozzy looked to his left and spotted familiar red hair.
”Idele!” Ozzy was friends with all the triplets, but he owed this one more than the others. ”Guess what?” He about ran up to her. ”I got Acceptable in Potions! You literally saved my life.” Without her tutoring throughout the year, Ozzy was well on his way to earning a solid Troll in Potions. His goal was to, at minimum, receive a Dreadful, but this was far better than expected. He smiled, beaming with a bit of pride.

Of course, Idele had seen many visitors in their home before, but she always brushed it off, usually seeing Theo roam around their family halls with Sammy or Scottie by his side. It irritated the redhead at times, especially since she didn't consider bringing her own friends to her home, but it also meant Idele was forced to be social, even if it was for five minutes.
Listening to her mothers squabbles for that morning, complaints thrown at Midge and the triplets alike, with hours passing and more people flooding into their home by the early afternoon, Idele went against her mothers wishes, sporting a loose shirt and shorts vs the skirt that Harmony pretty much begged for her to wear. She would spend her 'own' party in comfort rather than style.
Like a true hater of summer though, Idele did her best to avoid the sunrays and most people, even her brothers and Theo. Of course it failed at times, passing by them with a sigh and an eye roll, especially as Scottie was being..well Scottie and Sammy was fawning over their mothers accomplishments like a lost dog..yet again. "Watch it!" The youngest eventually whined, especially as her brothers passed by with what seemed to be like water guns. Merlin where did those come from?
Hearing a faint announcement from Midge that more visitors were entering, Idele rolled her eyes again. How many more people were coming? At the sound of her name though, the redhead turned, her lips curving up into a small smile as she realised who it was coming from. "Ozzy!" She responded, turning to face him completely. Idele's smile only raised into a slight grin as he mentioned that her advice and tutoring had helped him out of disaster.
"That's a relief..what were you predicted again before?..A Dreadful?" She grinned as she teased, crossing her legs as she sat more comfortably. "So who convinced you to turn up? Sammy? Scottie? Wait..Let me guess.." Idele paused then, letting out a quiet sigh as she pinched the bridge of her nose. "Theodore?"

Ozzy wondered who already arrived and what trouble had already begun without him. He’d considered asking Monday to help his friends side-along apparate but could already see the look on her face and silent response. But it didn’t take long for him to run into Idele rather than any of the boys. She didn’t look terribly excited to see him or excited at all, but Ozzy figured that was just her usual demeanor. She’d always been sort of nice to him. Well, helping him through Potions was a very nice thing to do, considering how miserable the class left him and how his brain lacked the brain cells for such information.
”Troll.” Ozzy happily corrected her before sitting beside her. He shrugged at the question. If he was honest, Ozzy couldn’t remember who had invited him first. ”All of the above?” Word had spread rather quickly. Not that Ozzy doubted Sammy or Theo would have let him know regardless. ”Who else is here?” He wondered curiously. Idele was smart enough to sit in the shade, as the weather was already warm. Ozzy pushed his hair back out of his face. As much as he loved it, this sort of weather left him hating his thick hair.
