This meeting was a long time coming. Things had been far too quiet lately. Everyone was laying low, sticking to their usual positions and keeping their mouths shut. Which was good, but it bored Elaine. She knew she should be patient and wait for the moment that would be the most catastophic, but she was tired of waiting. She had waited the entirety of her time at Hogwarts, and after her triumph in April, she didn't want to wait anymore. She wanted to take action, draw blood, and laud her power over her enemies. Instead, she was hiding in the Shrieking Shack waiting for the other Purifiers to show up. She didn't care that they had their own lives to live. She wanted updates, status reports, something, anything, to prove that their cause hadn't been abandoned and that all her hard work hadn't gone to waste. And woe to the poor soul that was slacking in their duties. She paced impatiently around the room, her heels scraping against the aged wooden floorboards. She was getting impatient and annoyed, which was the norm when her desires were not immediately satisfied. Part of her wondered how difficult it would be to replenish the ranks of the Purifiers if she killed anyone who didn't show up. The thought amused her. That was something about casting Unforgivable Curses that made her giddy, much like the boat ride to Hogwarts during her first year had. That night seemed so long ago, back when her dreams of world conquest was were only dreams. But they were slowly becoming reality. She would be everything Voldemort never was. She would succeed where he failed. She would crush the world beneath her foot. The thought of her goals being achieved somewhat soothed her impatience. It was lucky for the other Purifiers. They were taking too long to show themselves. Communicating with everyone, particularly the students, was a difficult task, but they would be there. They had better be. @lucy @desi @theodosia @theodorus @mathieu Ondina Nell Weasley @xavier @uriah @nikolaj @pansy @vi @raven @cecelia @dominic @ruse @aerick [[OOC: Students attending the meeting will use the Room of Requirement. They will enter through a portrait ( just like the books) and exit through the The Hog's Head. Adults: figure something out. Future meetings will take place in The Hog's Head. Please post in tagged order.]]

With the Auror presence around Hogwarts, there was a thrill in being a student member of the Purifiers. Nothing much had happened since the attack on King’s Cross, however, which left Lucy Weasley twiddling her thumbs for any word from any of the higher-ranking members. Finally, it had been none other than Elaine Dupree who had organized their next meeting, to be held in the Shrieking Shack. She knew that they hadn’t given up their cause, but it would seem like it if they didn’t do something soon.
Getting down to the Whomping Willow and into the decrepit shack was too difficult, even for someone with a brain and enough patience to ensure that there weren’t any Aurors on duty in the vicinity. Lucy had already planned out her timing in advance to keep herself from running late, and she hoped that the other Hexen girls wouldn’t be too far behind her. Although she only had to make her way to the Room of Requirement before she was out of the castle, she kept her wand close at hand in case of any trouble. Reaching the Hog's Head first—a safeguard, Lucy presumed, against anyone who might try to trail them—she Apparated into the Shrieking Shack.
Moving away from the door to allow others entrance, Lucy smiled at Elaine, who was pacing around the room. They had to make do with what they could, so she wasn’t about to criticize her choice of venue—even if it was a bit dingy. “They’re coming,” she assured her, taking a seat on one of the few chairs that hadn’t yet fallen into complete disrepair while it was still available to her. They had to maintain their caution, but the shack should have been full of people from all walks of life, not just the two of them.

Desi was incredibly excited for the meeting. She'd been all cooped up and going mad as hell. The second Elaine called it, Desi started getting ready. She had to look her best for her friends! Most of them hadn't even seen her haircut yet! And that just wouldn't do. She got dressed in her best leather, hair slicked back a bit, but just wild enough that she could do whatever she wanted with it. She let Elaine go ahead of her but followed soon after, meeting at the shrieking Shack. There was something extremely liberating about meeting so close to the school, and a place so popular for things like this. That the possibility of getting caught was so high, was better to her, she preferred the excitement. She preferred the danger. She walked in, walked straight over to Elaine, and planted a kiss on her cheek, then she turned to Lucy, the first person to be there. "Lucy, darling! Pleasure to see you," her voice was sweet and syrupy as per usual. The shrieking Shack was just crawling with spiders, and she giggled with Glee. Most of the purifiers didn't know about her ability, but that didn't matter. They wouldn't question why she was giggling like a maniac. She's stopped, and leaned back against the wall, folding her arms. She couldn't wait to see who would show up next...

The problem with being a Slytherin in the Purifiers was that when meeting time came around, it was a mass exodus - or at least it felt that way. Theodosia had waited patiently just inside the door of her dormitory for what felt like hours until she was sure the other girls in her year were fast asleep, and then crept out of her room. Naturally, that was the time when Lucy decided to exit the common room. To avoid looking suspicious, Theodosia had waited another minute or two before following Lucy out the door. If they were discovered out of bed at this time, there would be consequences, but if they were discovered out of bed at this time together, the consequences would be even worse, and probably more far-reaching than the two of them.
Getting to the Shrieking Shack once she sneaked out of the common room was just a matter of hiding in the shadows and walking more quickly than most people thought possible. When she finally arrived at the place, Theodosia was pleased to find that there were only a few members there. One of them was, of course, Lucy - there was no reason that Theodosia would have gotten there before her fellow Hexen member, even if the younger girl did walk abnormally fast. Better than Lucy, though, was Desirae. Theodosia's eyes lit up when she saw the older girl. "Hello, Desirae!" She greeted happily. Realizing she couldn't disrespect the only other woman in the room, Theodosia turned to smile at Elaine. "And you, Elaine. How have you been, other than...your unfortunate circumstances?" Poor Elaine had been forced into captivity ever since the situation with the Johnson boy, and Theodosia didn't want to be insensitive to that.

It was odd to Theo that they were meeting up out here in the Shrieking Shack. He supposed it might be for the sake of maintaining the cover of Elaine being in charge, but…no, something was off. Draven had changed shortly after returning from their invasion of Azkaban and killing the Warden. It was subtle, very difficult to pin down, possibly not even noticed by most of the Purifiers…but Theo was not ordinary. He’d been raised to survive in this kind of life since he was four years old. He did rather wish he had his sister around to compare notes though. It wouldn’t do any good now since she’d not met Draven before, but…
Oh well. No use wishing for what cannot be.
Theo stepped into the Shrieking Shack without a care in the world. Draven’s gift to him, the knowledge of his shadow walking technique, had proven useful. Becoming nearly invisible in darkness and weightless enough to walk across the top of snow had immediately made Theo a far more deadly assassin. Which, naturally, was the reason Draven had taught him. Theo was far from stupid. Azkaban had been a test of his operational planning, his skill ,and his ability to work alone. He’d passed, and the reward had been a powerful spell to use that would, in turn, make him more useful for that sort of job in the future. A shame for Draven that none of that mattered much to Theo in the face of the Purifiers basically hiding from the entire world.
The shadows melted away from him as he walked, so that he seemed to step out of thin air itself and into the crowd of women. He grinned wickedly at Elaine. “Princess. It’s been so long. If I didn’t know better, I’d say you had grown weary of my company.” Which, of course, she had. Theo refused to be subservient to anyone, which tended to put him at odds with people who thought everyone should bend the knee to them. But at the same time, Theo was quite possibly the strongest duelist among the Purifiers, a skilled alchemist and potioneer, and an accomplished assassin who had killed years before Elaine herself had done so. In short, he was much too useful to be rid of, and much too dangerous to risk it anyway.
He looked around the room, grinning at the youngest among them. “Hello, Namesake.” Then he turned to the other girl in the room, very obviously a Weasley. He walked over, smirking, and traced a finger down her jaw for just a moment. “There are few things as beautiful as a proud pureblood woman,” he said softly, before turning and walking over to stand by Desirae, winking at the former Ravenclaw as he did. After all—he had an image to maintain. Desirae was too sharp. If he didn’t go for the girl just a little, she would get suspicious. He leaned against the wall next to her, crossing his arms as well. “Seeecreeets~” he whispered at her.

Mathieu had spent the better part of an hour pacing in the Room of Requirement now. He did not want to go to this meeting, but being as he was practically bound to it, he had to. It had taken quite a bit for Matty to pluck up the nerve to finally plunge through the portrait hole and through the tunnel that led to the Hog's Head. As he walked along the dark tunnel, his wand was out and illuminated. His breathing was quiet and he could feel his own heart beating anxiously in his chest. This was going to be the first meeting with everyone. And Matty was undeniably scared.
Mat exited the tunnel as stealthily as he could at the Hog's Head. Looking around, he didn't see anyone else he noticed. With a sigh he left the pub and headed for the path that led to the Shrieking Shack. Wanting to delay his arrival at the meeting for as long as he could, the Slytherin decided to walk to the shack. It would probably infuriate Elaine if he was one of the last ones, but he was hoping he could just slip in and slip out, hopefully undetected. Matty's wishes, unfortunately, were far from being granted.
Upon entering, Matty just caught a glimpse of Theodorus Nott as he said something to Lucy Weasley, touching her jaw or something. Matty made a disgruntled and disgusted face as he rolled his eyes. He saw Desirae, naturally, as well. It was weird to see she and Theodorus after not having seen them since the kidnapping. They didn't even graduate, for Merlin's sake. It was weird to know they didn't seem to care for their future. Then again, with Elaine, who needed an educational background to further your future? Matty noticed the younger Slytherin girl who was always hanging around Lucy as well. He was upset he was still only one of the first few to arrive, so avoiding Elaine's eye contact at all times, Matty walked silently into the room and moved to stand in the corner nearest to Elaine. He promised himself to stay as quiet as he could during this meeting.

Cassius loved their little get togethers. They were one of the few places that Cassius didn't hide his affection for Ondina. Granted, he had to gauge out all the students who would be there this time before he engaged with her in any way... granted, she might not give him a choice. He arrived without her, though, giving Elaine a nod of greeting before crossing over toward the wall, not the same one Desirae and Theo were leaning against, and stood in front of it, arms folded, assessing the people around. He hoped he would see more non students there. Not that he minded them, he was only three years their elder in most cases, but he would have liked to speak with someone about things going on outside. Granted, he could easily talk to Theo, Elaine or Desirae about that too. He'd wait to see what Elaine wanted to speak with them about first, of course. He didn't interrupt or ask questions too soon. The brunette always seemed to have a few tricks up her sleeve and wanted just as much chaos and carnage as he did. Ondina Nell Weasley bae you next!!!

Cassius left without her.
Now, that was probably the most annoying and frustrating thing that had happened lately. To make it even worse, after discovering that, she, in her frustration, went to find Lucy, to leave with her. Only to find out Lucy had left too! And Theodosia! She could tried to find someone else at the point, she was ticked enough that she just stormed off to the meeting by herself. Not in any mood to deal with this nonsense. Okay, sure, Cassius had a good reason. No one knew about them outside the Purifiers. And even then, not all the Purifiers knew. So they couldn't go together.... Logic didn't make it any better though. If anything it annoyed her even more.
When she finally arrived, Ondina was surprised by how many people were already there. She offered the sweetest of smiles to Theodorus, Desirae, and Elaine, completely ignored Mathieu, and crossed to Lucy and Theodosia. "Theo... I've heard you've been having fun with the Slaters without us." She softly greeted, grinning. She looked at Lucy next, still grinning just as wide. "Your black eye is gone."
Only then did she turn to Cassius, her grin disappearing. Of course she was still annoyed with him. But, she wasn't angry enough to stay away. Just seeing him was enough to make her feet carry her over to the wall he was against. She stopped just in front of him, head tilting as she tried to decide just how to react... before leaning against the wall next to him, and looking way, as if pretending he wasn't there. She was pretty spiteful like that.
@xavier (baby broooooooo, join us! <3 ) (had to mention the Lucy/Dusti fight in progress, cause that takes place before the meeting, and we already know it's going to turn physical, haha.)

@uriah Xavier didn't much care for gatherings. Lots of people just meant more things could go wrong. He didn't even know why he needed to be here in the first place. He didn't do much with the Purifiers. Sure, the occasional cursing here and there. But even those had become more rare since he and Liv started dating. He was pretty sure Elaine just wanted to feel powerful. Though, honestly, he was itching to try out a new spell. If he did it on someone here Liv would never find out about it. Speaking of Liv, he had to leave her alone tonight so he could sneak out. For some reason thinking about that made him want to walk around the room and never stop. He couldn't seem to stand still, so he just stood, shifting from foot to foot as he waited for the meeting to start. As he waited he caught sight of Ondina leaning against the wall. He should have guessed she would be here also. But why was she standing next to Cassius?

@pansy closing up the hogs head for the night, nik left the door unlocked. there were still students that were coming through from hogwarts, whenever they got their act together. the door was guarded, spelled so it couldn't be opened from the outside but they would be able to open it from the inside and make their way to the shrieking shack. it didn't make sense to have the meeting somewhere so .. known for it's troubles but he wasn't about to argue the issue, yet. making his way to the shack, he let the hood of his black cloak fall from his head as he stepped into the room everyone was already in. he didn't say a word as he moved to stand somewhere, waiting for it to start. he folded his arms over his chest, his eyes on elaine and desi for a second before he glanced around at everyone. ah ondina. he hadn't seen her since they had spoken to each other back at the cassino, he still thought it was a mistake letting anyone with the name weasley in on anything they did but if it came back to bite elaine, it would be her problem.

Finally, someone was organizing something. Pansy admired Elaine Dupree for what she had done so far, so it made sense that the girl had taken it upon herself to get everyone together again. The meeting that Elaine had arranged was set to be held at the Shrieking Shack, though, which made Pansy wonder if it was even worth attending.
She questioned why she had bothered to come, too, once she had Apparated inside of the Shack. Her excuse to Marcus—that she was meeting at the home of a friend—would have been a much better time. The gathering felt more like babysitting to Pansy than it felt like any sort of a meeting, as most of the members who had shown up were young enough to be her children. (If only her actual children had the sense that they had!)
Pansy nodded to Elaine and moved to stand by the wall while the others conversed amongst themselves. She pulled a cigarette from the case that she had put in the pocket of her robes, lit it with the tip of her wand, and took a drag.

Cecelia hated being the only Gryffindor in the Purifiers. She hated it, because chances were, on any given night, at least one of her classmates was going to be trying to sneak out for a reason not related to a secret blood purist community meeting, and she really didn't want to have to explain why a prefect, of all people, was sneaking out. Cecelia knew the chances she would be believed if she said she was patrolling were near one hundred percent. It felt like an abuse of power, and she didn't like that. It didn't matter what she did or didn't like, though, because she had to come. If she didn't, Desi would kill her, in one way or another. Cecelia entered the Room of Requirement and exited via the Hog's Head, as she had been instructed to do. Walking through Hogsmeade in the middle of the night felt even more wrong than sneaking out of the tower, but Cece kept repeating three words in her head: I have to, I have to, I have to. Going into the Shrieking Shack was a relief in that she no longer felt so horribly exposed, but a disappointment in that she was going to have to be around her sister. When Cecelia stepped into the room, she automatically made a beeline towards Desirae, standing behind her sister's right shoulder. She didn't suspect that anyone in the meeting would try to do Desi any harm, but Cecelia wanted to be prepared.

Elaine was not pleased. While the majority of her followers had arrived at the appropriate time, there were some that had still not arrived. Students, of course, but Elaine had no sympathy for their struggles. They would be punished accordingly.
She nodded to each member as they appeared in the room, smiling at them like they were old, dear friends. In reality, she smiled because each person that entered was one less person for her to hex. She looked around at the assorted crew, sizing them up, grading them on their worth and usefulness to the cause. The only person toward whom the smile was genuine was Desirae. The eldest Rousseau was the only person Elaine had ever considered a true friend, and her favoritism toward the other woman was obvious. If anyone else had approached Elaine, let alone kissed her, the way Desi had, they would quickly find themselves without lips. Or a face. Or a pulse.
Once she was certain that those who would arrive had, the smile vanished. She was in full business mode. Her cold eyes traveled over to Mathieu, her new correspondent for the going ons at Hogwarts in her absence. He had proven very useful so far. Not like he had a choice in the matter, but it was nice to know that he was being an obedient little puppet. Her eyes continued to travel the room to rest on Cecelia, twin to the traitor. Seeing her made Elaine's skin crawl in the worst of ways. The Unbreakable Vow may have been successful, but Elaine fully expected the remaining Rousseau twin to scurry off to the authorities the moment she was able to do so. Braelynn had already costs them the Purebloods, and she had suffered the highest price. Should Cecelia follow that same path, Elaine would make sure she begged for a death as easy as her sister's.
"I'm so glad to see you've all made time to join me," she purred, her voice like poisoned honey. "If someone could tell our dear friends who've decided not to show up on time that I'd like a word with them, that would be fabulous." Raven and Dominic were loyal, talented purebloods, but Elaine would not be lenient on their tardiness. "Now, status report. I want to know what's going on at Hogwarts. What success have you had with recruitment? What are the plans for the Triwizard Tournament? I want every detail."
The young woman glanced at her nails, examining them carefully. What more should she say about the current state of the Purifiers? She was dying to tell them, but it would have to wait. Maybe until the tournament was over, when she knew full well who she could trust and who needed to be eliminated. But she could tease them with the information. There was no harm in that, right? "There are going to be some...changes," she said cryptically, trying her best not to giggle like a school girl. "When these changes become pertinent to you, then you shall know what they are. Until then, just be prepared. The Triwizard Tournament is coming up, and this one will make Voldemort's return look like child's play."
Elaine looked around at the group again, that sickening smile reappearing on her face. Everything would fall into place. Her work would make Alastor obsolete, as if he already wasn't. This time there would be no Braelynn to foil their plans. They would succeed and be one step closer to a beautiful, pureblooded world. "Any questions?"

Desi grinned as Theodosia greeted her and gave the girl a little wave with her fingers, "welcome, Theodosia. What a pleasure it is to have you here," she mused. She admired that little one, glad that she was on their side. Then Theo, the blond one, was at her side leaning against the wall beside her, whispering his little nickname for her. "Hello, darling," she cooed back, grinning mischievously at him. She had an image to maintain, too.
Other trickled in and Desi hung back by Theo and Elaine, making eyes at most of the newcomers and grinning at the ones she already knew. She stayed silent as the meeting started, chuckling a bit as Elaine mentioned those who didn't come. She turned to her spiders on the wall, giving them a little nod to go find Raven and Dom. The scurried off and she turned back to Elaine as she addressed the students about the goings on at Hogwarts and mentioned the tournament.
