Queen Lisa, The First Of Her Name
 Hi lovelies! As you know I am Lisa. I have been here since October 15, 2015. I am 28 (almost 29) and I live and work in Boston, Massachusetts, USA - that means I am in the EASTERN time zone. I've lived here for almost six years now (how time flies); before there I lived in a small (very) safe town of Connecticut which was the town of Affluenza. Great place to grow up though! I work in sales for an educational travel company which sends me on free trips every other year. This years trip was Paris & the South of France and it was amazing and I'm moving there bye. My work can be stressful sometimes (its sales) so writing is a great way to decompress if I am feeling stressed out. That's probably because I was a Journalism major in college; writing is my true passion but sadly the world of Journalism is dying and it is far more about who you know than what you've got. I learned that the hard way; I was temping for three out of the four years I lived in Boston trying to schmooze my way into the writing world. Of course, so were the other hundred thousand twenty-somethings that inhabit this city, but I do love my job and it encourages me to travel. I went to UMass Amherst (Go! Go U! Go UMass! GO UMASS!), graduating in 2011. And yes, we do chant that at every single football, hockey and basketball game. And yes, I did indeed think it was ridiculous when I was at orientation. I made some of my best friends when I was in college; I live with two of them today! My love for Harry Potter started when I was in the fourth grade and my grandmother bought me the first book because it was on the NYT Bestseller list. I can remember not being impressed by the first chapter (what nine year old was?), but after perservering I was hooked. I was always an advanced reader - they put me in a special advanced reading class in fifth grade because my reading comprehension was at a high school level - so I devoured the Harry Potter books as they came out. I can proudly say I finished reading each book in a 24 hour period - yes even book five. Did I do anything else those days? Absolutely not. Outside of this my hobbies include my Wednesday night MyStryde class (SoulCycle but on 12k treadmills), writing my first novel, and watching a plethora of shows that range from amazing to guilty pleasure. My work was chatting about a kickball league which sounds fun so if that pans out hey theres another hobby! I also have played in two soccer leagues - I played soccer from age 5-14, but stopped in high school. I also played the flute in middle school and was first chair (humblebrag its fine) but stopped because I did not want to be in marching band.
