WHO IS IN CONTROL?
[attr="class","next"]
The moment that Kinsie had come home from Hogwarts, she had begged her mother to allow her to go to the Winter Festival at Hogsmeade, and because Jessa is a bit of a push-over when it comes to her daughter, she complied. But the only thing was, they had to go together, and Kinsie was allowed to run off with friends as long as she told her mother where she was going, and they had a meetup spot. The moment the two of them arrived at Hogsmeade, the eleven-year-old disappeared and told her mother that she was meeting some friends at the ice rink. So much for spending time with her daughter, right? It was two days before Christmas, and the place was filled to the brim with activity, people laughing and running around, having a good time. She smiled—the last time she had been here, had been with some friends during her time at Hogwarts, she might have even come with Jonny once, but she couldn’t remember. She didn’t stop by often, especially after she fell pregnant with her daughter and the scandal that befell their family.
Jessa wondered around, stopping by and grabbing a glass of alcohol to carry around with her, some supposedly spiked eggnog, which wasn’t that bad. She stopped by the ice rink and saw that her daughter was laughing and having a good time, which brought a smile to her face and then she parted ways, not wanting to be the overbearing parent. She moved from place to place, looking at everything that the festival had to offer all while drinking from her glass.
