Edmund grinned at Addi. She just made him happy, made him want to find new ways to make her day. "Thanks Adds," he told her softly, leaning forward to give her a kiss. He still had other things he wanted to do with her, but he just couldn't hold back. She was so adorable and perfect and he couldn't stop himself. He didn't want to. He gave her a few quick, sweet kisses. When he pulled away, he smiled as he looked into her eyes. "You're so perfect for me, Adds." Edmund winked as he pulled away a little.
"Now, are you hungry?" He asked innocently, curious about what she'd say. He was starving, but if he didn't know he had food plans he would've lied about how hungry he was just so he could spend more time with her. Did she suspect he had more coming?

@edmund <3 She nodded her head when he thanked her and she smiled. And unexpectedly, he just continued giving her multiple kisses. She gave him kisses back, still smiling behind each one. He winked at her and as he pulled away, her heart beat fast and her face turned pink. "Thanks, E... You're perfect for me too... I'm glad I met you that day on the train." She smiled, remembering that moment.
As if on que, her stomach growled. "Oh my! I suppose so!" She giggled, looking into his eyes. Gosh, Addi just wanted to plant kisses on every single one of his freckles.

Edmund smiled when she mentioned the day they met on the train. He'd been so messed up then. Granted, he still was in a way, but Addi had helped him immensely. Her caring, her friendship had healed him in a way and it meant the world to him. "Me too Adds. I don't know where I'd be without you." He gave her one last kiss on the cheek and then pulled away.
He smiled when she admitted she was hungry. "Then are you ready to try something new?" He asked with a wry smile, already knowing the answer. When was Addi not ready for an adventure? "It's another thing my Dad and I used to do," he confessed quietly.

@edmund <3 Addilyn giggled. "You'd probably be inside eating lunch with some one else, E!" It was weird to think about, what would've happened if they hadn't met? Definitely some different things and experiences. Even so, she was sure they would've met eventually.
"Of course I'm ready! When wouldn't I be?" She wondered what could possibly be different about getting food to eat, but apparently Edmund knew just the thing! But he looked embarrassed or shy that it was something he did with his dad. Addi sat up and got close to him. She put her hands up on each side of his face, holding his cheeks. She looked him directly in the eye and smiled softly. "You listen to me, Edmund. Don't you dare ever be embarrassed about anything that has to do with your father. If anything, do this stuff more. It'll give me a chance to get to know him and know who he was. I'm having a wonderful time, E. And I'm sure your dad is watching you teach his wisdom." Smiling, she gave him a soft kiss.

Edmund frowned when Addi said he'd just be eating with someone else. He doubted it. Edmund didn't have an easy time making friends. It was hard for him most of the time. Except with Addi. She was special. "No Adds. It's not so easy for me to make friends normally. You're special," he told her softly, his voice almost a whisper.
Then he smiled. "Good because this is new. It's called hobo dinners. It's something they do in America. Once my dad and I did them and I asked the house elves to help me come up with some," Edmund smiled as he stood up and extended a hand to Addi. He led her back over to the beach and smiled as he remembers the sand castles they'd made earlier, which were conspicuously absent at the moment. He waved his wand, summoning some logs. He arranged them into a teepee and then started a fire with magic. Grabbing Addi's hand and pulling her with him to his trunk- that had preciously been full of balloons, he pulled out two camping chairs. He slung them over his shoulder and walked back to the fire, letting her help him set them up. He sat in a chair and summoned the food from the castle, waiting for it to arrive with a little bit of patience.

@edmund Same Love by Macklemore <3 Addilyn's heart broke at Edmund's words. She knew he had some issues making friends, but who said he couldn't? Addi knew that if they hadn't met he would've found someone. But either way, that wasn't the case. His frown made her sad and she wrapped her arms around his waist to pull him in for a hug. "I would say I could be your only friend, but that would be selfish of me not to share you with the world."
Hobo dinners? What the? Addi gave him a confused face, her nose scrunched. She watched him grab different items out of different places. She watched him set up a little fire and she smiled shyly, becoming embarrassed. It was all so sweet, so beautiful and Edmund was such a great person. Addi tilted her head, watching him. She hadn't even noticed the sandcastles were gone; Edmund was entrancing. She became numb with feelings for him. She walked over and sat down. The concoction of liquid on her was dry, but as she sat down, and looked Edmund over, covered in the same concoction, she couldn't believe how he made her feel. "It sounds great, E."

Addi wrapped her arms around him and Edmund felt his breath catch slightly. It was amazing to him how strong his feelings for her had become in such a short time. He hugged her back, burying his face in her hair and breathing deeply. She was so good for him, so soothing and calming. He smiled at her words and quipped, "Since when have you ever shared me with anyone, Adds?"
He laughed at the look of pure confusion plain on her face. He reached forward and tweaked her nose, "It's a weird name, right? I really don't know why they call it that, but it's really good. Basically you wrap some meat, potatoes, carrots and other vegetables in tin foil with some seasoning and then you cook it in a fire until you're ready to eat it." He reached up and taught the two lumps of tin foil that the house elves prepared for them, handing one to Addi and then putting his in the fire. Then he looked over at her. She had a strange expression on her face. "Hey Addi, you all right?" Edmund asked, reaching over and linking his fingers with hers.

@edmund <3 The feeling of him hugging her and burying his face into her hair gave her a shiver down her spine. Addilyn closed her eyes, reminiscing in the moment. He then began breathing in deeply, and Addi giggled. Feeling his face in between her shoulder and jaw, she wiggled around. "Oh, goodness, Edmund!"
Ed pinched her nose and Addi shook her head away from him. She thought of all the food together and figured it would taste good. She definitely had never heard of it, but it did sound interesting and fun; she also figured American's were fun. Edmund gave her the tinfoil and she looked inside it, curious. She watched him put his on the fire and then she put her own on it, watching. Edmund grabbed her hand and interlocked their fingers. She glanced back at him, and smiled softly. "Uh, yes. I'm okay. I just, I was thinking."

Edmund pulled away and grinned at Addi. "You didn't answer my question," he teased with a wink. He loved being close to her like this. He never thought anything could be their friendship, but this definitely was better. Way better.
She seemed curiously intrigued by the meal idea, and Ed couldn't help but hope that the house-elves made it at least as good as his dad used to. Still, as the smell of the cooking food reached his nose, he had a feeling it was going to be delicious. He squeezed her hand, looking into her eyes. "What about?" He looked across the lake, where the sun was already starting to set. "Hey, look at that, Adds," he told her with a brilliant smile. He loved sun sets and this one looked like it could be great.

@edmund <3 Addilyn looked up at Edmund when he pulled away. He was quite a bit taller than she was, but she liked it. Having him be taller was nice. "No...I actually only share you when I'm not around you!" She smiled.
He squeezed her hand and she smiled back softly. Edmund asked what she was thinking about and then he mentioned the sunset. Her green eyes turned to the lake to see the sunset. It truly was beautiful, and she enjoyed it as the wind blew across her face. As Edmund watched the sun, she glanced at him. "I'm thinking about you."

Edmund grinned, "That's what I thought," he said, bending down to give her a quick kiss on the cheek.
Edmund was staring at the sky, at the varying colors that changed by the second. He couldn't help it. He hadn't had time to sit and watch the sun set in a long time. He liked how peaceful it was. When Addi answered his question, he turned to look at her. He raised an eyebrow inquisitively and tried to keep a smile from his face, cocking his head to the side slightly, "What are you thinking?"
After she answered, he did a spell to make it so his hand wouldn't burn when he touched the tin foil, then he summoned it. He pulled the tin foil back and smiled. "It's almost done," he told her before placing his back in the fire.

@edmund Lost Boy by Ruth B <3 Edmund gave her a kiss on the cheek, and when he pulled away to glance at the sky, she could still feel the outline of his lips on her skin. It made her body tingle from her toes to her head, and her cheeks had a tinge of pink to them.
When he raised an eyebrow, Addi shrugged. "Just...everything about you. You're so great, Edmund. And I'm so lucky to have you and..." The words she wanted to say, were not going to come out. No, she couldn't say those words. She felt them, but goodness, he'd run. And Addi couldn't test losing him now. Those three words were not coming out of her mouth. "And I can't believe how much I like you."
Addi watched as Edmund tested out the food; it was almost done. Her stomach growled softly and she smiled sheepishly, her eyes resting on the fire in front of them. "Good, I'm hungry!" She smiled.

Edmund smiled at her. She always said just the right things to make him feel good about himself. "You already know that I feel the same," he told her with a shrug. "I really can't imagine what I'd be like now if you and I hadn't become friends in first year, Adds," he confessed. As long as they were baring their souls, he might as well tell her his side. "You've made me a better, happier person. Thanks, Addi. You mean the world to me." Edmund knew it sounded cheesy, but it was too late. The one person that wouldn't judge him for who he was or what he said. At least, he hoped.
He grinned, "Just wait until you taste this." He decided he was done waiting for the food and pulled both of theirs out of the fire. He was ready to eat. He summoned some silverware from his trunk- yes, he had packed everything that he needed in there for the date- and handed one to Addi. He opened up the tin foil and poked at his food, grinning. It smelled so good.

@edmund <3 Addilyn blushed slightly. "Oh, E, I'm sure you'd be the same person you are now. There isn't much I could have done to make you a better person. I'm just myself." She smiled at him. It was a sweet thing of him to say, but Addilyn highly doubted she ever did that much for Edmund. She was just being a friend, which is the greatest thing she could be. "I just want you to know how strong my feelings are for you, Edmund. And how happy I am."
He then retrieved utensils from his trunk. Addi took them and looked at the food in the tin foil. She opened it up a bit more and used her fork to grab some of the food. She blew on it, not wanting to burn her mouth, and gave Edmund a smile. Addi took a bite and savored the taste. It was actually quite good! "This is different...but it's delicious, E."

Edmund raised an eyebrow at her when he noticed her blushing. "Why don't you just believe me?" he asked lightly. He wasn't upset, but he did want her to believe him. "Just trust me, you being yourself made me a better person." His eyes softened as he continued to look at her. She was the reason he'd been able to leave his bitterness behind him, the bitterness that consumed him when his dad died. Addi's light, positive attitude had changed him, whether she believed it or not. "I'm glad you're happy," he smiled at her. "I couldn't be happier than I am right now. You're everything to me."
He grinned when she tasted the food and then looked at it in surprise. Then she told him she liked it. "I told you. It's better than you'd think," he agreed before starting to eat his own. The house elves packed a lot of food in there, but it didn't last long. Edmund was so hungry it was gone in a matter of minutes. "Apparently building castles and having not-only-water balloon fights makes me hungry," he told Addi with a laugh once he was done. He sat back in his chair, glancing over to watch her. It was getting dark now, but the glow of the fire on her face was alluring and she was beautiful, as ever. He simply smiled and watched her, perfectly content.
