Dom started looking around curiously, wondering if there was more on this floor or not. She didn't know how to figure it out though so she figured she'd just look around and if she found out later there was one here, they'd just have to walk back up. "Same here. I'm trying to keep them in shape and working well, even though we haven't had any real matches." She kept looking around as she made her way back to Jamie. She smiled, "Yeah, I get to use it quite often. It's nice," she scrunched her nose at Jamie, teasing her. Then she reached her friend. "Well, let's try the next one down. I'm feeling like nothing else is here. Are you going to confirm that or do I just have to see for myself?"

Dominique said she was also trying to work on her team for the future, and an idea popped into her head. “I played a pickup game the other day with some kids from Gryffindor.” Jamie began. “Do you think that maybe we could have a match between our two teams? Not for house points or anything, obviously, but to test our skills against people who aren’t on our team.” Jamie organized scrimmages pretty regularly, but the Hufflepuffs knew each other’s moves and style. Playing against a new opponent would be a fun challenge, if Dominique agreed. “Sometimes it’s just not worth the walk.” Jamie admitted after Dom said that she got to use the bathroom often. “I can neither confirm nor deny anything.” Jamie said, wiggling her eyebrows a little when Dom asked the question. “But back down the stairs we go.” The Hufflepuff laughed. In a moment of whimsy she sat on the bannister and slid down to the next floor, grinning at Dom when she landed at the bottom.

Dom nodded vigorously at the idea of creating a match. "Yes! Please can we do that? It'll give my team something to work towards, and yours as well. It sounds like a lot of fun!" It really did. Nothing gave Dom as much energy as Quidditch. It was a rush that she loved like none other. She laughed when Jamie said the bathroom wasn't always worth the walk. "I can understand that." Then she rolled her eyes. "All right, then we're going down." She led the way to down to the next floor, grinning when Jamie sat on the bannister. "Oooh! I'm definitely doing that next time!" Dom told her with a grin. Then she started looking around. "Hmmm .... where to look," she muttered to herself.

Jamie grinned when Dom responded positively to her suggestion of having a pickup Quidditch match. “We can figure out a time we’re both free later?” Jamie suggested. She figured that with all of the things going on in both of their lives – club meetings, homework, family things – it would be easier to find a suitable date when they could sit down and compare calendars. Dom rolled her eyes at Jamie’s evasive answer, and the Hufflepuff grinned despite Dom’s slight annoyance. This was fun. The Ravenclaw said she was going to slide down the banister the next time, and the Hufflepuff continued to grin. “It’s harder than you’d think.” She said. The first time she had tried that trick she had almost fallen on her head. Jamie whistled innocently as Dom muttered to herself about where to look for the book. Jamie was rather proud of this hiding spot, but she was keeping mum until Dom got a little closer to where the book was located.

Dom smiled and nodded at the Hufflepuff's suggestion. "Sounds like a good idea," she said with a smile, agreeing easily. Dom looked over at Jamie with a mischievous expression. "What is? Riding down the banister or finding the book you hid from me on this floor," she teased, even though she already knew this answer. She moved down the corridor slowly, searching for the book. She didn't want to miss it, but she also wasn't sure if Jamie made it an easy find or not. From the looks of things, it was not going to be easy to find this one.

Dom agreed that they could find a time to sit down and schedule the match, and Jamie bobbled her head. The Ravenclaw was looking rather mischievous, though, and when she asked Jamie the question, the Hufflepuff rolled her eyes. “Both, though you know which one I was talking about.” She said with a little smirk. She was going to enjoy seeing if Dom would be able to find this one. She had realized throughout the course of placing the books that a lot of them were at eye level or below it, but precious few were above. There was a small atrium in the sixth floor, and in said atrium there was a shelf far above anyone’s head, meant more for aesthetic purposes than actually holding anything. Jamie had placed the book on top of said shelf with a levitation charm, and she was interested to see if Dom even saw it, or if she would think to use magic to get it down or go get a ladder or something.

Dom laughed when Jamie called her out. Yeah, she did know the one the Hufflepuff was talking about. The banister. Still, Dom was more focused on what she was trying to find. Where was her book? She walked down the corridor once and still didn't see a thing. Then she made her way back to Jamie. "All right, it looks like I'm gonna need a clue of some sort." Jamie probably didn't know how hard it was for Dom to admit that, but she was pushing her pride down and admitting she needed the help.

They had walked around most of the sixth floor once already, and Dom still hadn’t found the book, which didn’t really surprise Jamie – they had breezed through the atrium where it was hidden with barely a second glance. Dom asked for a clue, and Jamie nodded. She cleared her throat, and then did her best Sherriff Woody impression. “Reach for sky!” She drawled, giggling a little at her own silliness. It was only after she spoke that she realized Dom might not have a clue what she was referencing. Oops. “Uh…don’t suppose you’ve watched Toy Story…have you?” In any case, the clue was still a valid one, a rather roundabout way of telling Dom that she needed to be looking up, not down, to find what she sought.

Dom shook her head at Jamie's question, "No, I haven't." Quite honestly, Dom had no idea what Jamie was referring to, not even when she asked if Dom had seen ... Toy Story, was it? But the second she mentioned the sky, Dom looked up. Most of the ceiling was normal, but there was an atrium that she hadn't noticed before. Dom grinned and skipped over to it, laughing when she saw her book up there. "Nicely done," she said to her friend as she tried to decide how to get her book down from there. There were obvious ways, such as summoning it, but Dom wanted to be a little more creative than that. After a second, she conjured a rope, magically fastening it to the bookshelf high in the atrium, before starting to climb it. She did things like this all the time, so it wasn't long before she was at the top, grabbing her book before coming down. Once on the ground, she removed the rope and grinned at the Hufflepuff. "Any other hints for this floor?" Basically she was asking if there were more books, but trying to be sneaky about it as well.

Dom’s answer to whether or not she had seen Toy Story was what Jamie had expected, and the Hufflepuff shrugged. “Maybe we can have a movie night sometime.” She didn’t know how, considering that electronics didn’t work at Hogwarts, but if they had managed karaoke, maybe a movie wouldn’t be hard, either. Dom found the book, though, so Jamie’s attention was quickly diverted.
“My hint is to try not to break your neck getting your books.” Jamie said. She had thought that only Gryffindors did ridiculous things like that, but apparently Ravenclaws did, too. Bookshelves weren’t made to support the weight of a human, and since this one didn’t even have any books on it, it must’ve been dangerously top-heavy, with Dom sitting on top of it. She was lucky it didn’t topple – that wouldn’t have been a good way to end their excursion, and the Hufflepuff didn’t think her friends would be a fan of the breaks they enforced in the hospital wing. There weren’t any other potentially dangerous book hiding spots, Jamie didn’t think, but she knew that some people could make even the tamest thing dangerous. “Next floor?” She suggested, despite the fact that another book remained on the sixth floor.

"A movie night sounds fun!" Dom agreed easily. She liked doing things like that with people, trying new things and the cool thing about Jamie was that when she said she wanted to do something, she did it. At least, Dom thought she did. At least, she knew how to make things interesting.
Dom laughed, "I wasn't trying to break my neck," she said with a grin. "The whole point of this is to get me active and distracted, right? Well, I'm going to have fun while I do it as well." She tossed her hair back over her shoulder, "Besides, I didn't even come close to hurting myself." She looked over at the Hufflepuff and wondered ... "There's only one book on this floor too? I thought you were going to play hot and cold with me Jamie," she teased. The girl's reaction to this would hopefully tell Dom whether or not there was another book on this floor.

Dom agreed to a movie night, and Jamie beamed at her. “We can plan it the same time we plan the Quidditch match?” She suggested. A personal event was a lot easier to plan than an event for both of their teams, but if they were going to be together anyways, then they could kill two birds with one stone. And, Jamie thought, she could give Dom different movie choices then so on the day of they didn’t spend forever wondering which movie to pick.
“I know you weren’t trying to break you neck.” Jamie replied. Even people who were on the wilder side didn’t ever try to get injured. “Maybe I’m just not as courageous as you.” Jamie sighed when Dom said that she didn’t come close to hurting herself. It had looked that way to Jamie, but who was she to talk? The only person who could inspire that sort of mischief in her was Lily, and the Potter girl was conspicuously absent. When Dom asked if there was only one book on that floor, Jamie’s eyes twinkled. “You said if you needed help you’d ask for it.” Jamie replied – and Dom hadn’t yet asked her to play hot and cold, hence why Jamie was silent.

Dom was grinning back at Jamie. She didn't know why the two of them didn't do things more often together, but it seemed like they were going to now. "Sounds great to me," she agreed instantly. She wasn't really one for making plans, since she normally just did what she wanted when she wanted, but it was obvious that Jamie did like plans. So Dom would go along with her in that, letting the Hufflepuff do things in the way that made her feel comfortable. As long as they actually did see the movies, Dom wouldn't care when it happened.
Dom smiled mischievously when Jamie agreed that she wasn't trying to hurt herself. "Just making sure. Some people wouldn't put it past me," she admitted. Not that it was true, but ... sometimes it might seem that way. "Courageous, huh? Most people call things like that reckless," she teased, trying to get Jamie to smile. Then Jamie had a twinkle in her eye when she said that Dom said she'd ask for help. So ... she was assuming that there was another book on this floor. Dom watched Jamie for a second longer before nodding and starting to search again. This time she was a little more thorough, looking behind and under things as she walked through the corridor, also remembering to look up again, just in case.

Dom agreed to planning the movie night, and Jamie nodded her head in response. She was going to have to start brainstorming movies she thought Dominique might like – a comedy or maybe an action movie seemed like something that she might enjoy, or maybe even a mystery to help draw on her skills of deduction.
Jamie shook her head when Dom said that some people wouldn’t put it past her to try to get her. “Like whom?” She asked curiously, wondering if it was acquaintances who thought Dom would try to get hurt, or if it was more along the lines of her family or close friends. When Dom asked about being courageous versus reckless, Jamie shrugged her shoulders. “I think that recklessness is just courage that doesn’t know when to stop. So even if you were being reckless, you were still being courageous.” Jamie was far too fond of Gryffindors to turn one of their more common descriptors – reckless – into something too horrible. Dominique began circling the floor again, and Jamie decided to throw her a bone. “You’re warm.” She said when they were beside a bureau. Jamie wasn’t sure why it was there, except for maybe for students to study at, but Jamie had hidden the book at the back of one of the drawers.

Dom smiled, "I'm sure my family. My mother for sure. Vic. Probably some people in my house who get annoyed by how ... reckless I am." She just stated it the way it was. She was reckless. Couldn't help it, but Jamie's thoughts on reckless behavior really being courageous, she smiled. Jamie was good at finding the positive in things and that was something that Dom could really appreciate. She was normally good at that too, but lately ... not as much. Hopefully she'd get back to that point soon though. Dom paused when Jamie said she was warm and her lips twitched up. So Jamie was giving her help, even when she didn't help for it. She turned to the bureau, looking on top and beneath it, then deciding to look inside. "Aha!" she said cheerfully, lifting the book in the air as she found it. "On to floor five we go," Dom announced, dropping the book in her back and moving to the railing. She sat on it and started to slide down. She was very wobbly at first and almost slipped off, but she didn't. Dom typically had great balance. She grinned at Jamie when she reached the bottom.
