Sav was excited for a fun night, a party promised good music, good company and hopefully at least something entertaining or dramatic for the whole school to talk about and blow way out of proportion for the next week. Sav saw Jessie enter the party and took another large swig of his drink as he watched her walk over. The two had been on one date. A great date that resulted in a kiss, but still just the one date. He was glad to see her, especially in such a setting. "Hey there." he smirked. "I'm really glad you came." he meant it, however, just past Jessie he spotted Madison, a very close friend of his. Someone whom he had always had a flirty relationship with. They had never attempted to date and probably never would, but seeing her made him wonder how this looked. Did people think he and Jessie were a couple already? Were they a couple already? Perhaps tonight would bring along that answer. "Do you want a drink?" he nodded to the drink table that he was still next to.

Roxy had enjoyed picking out her outfit for the party Lily was throwing in the Room of Requirement - short strechy skirt, flowy top, classic look - and applying her favourite gold eyeliner. She was slightly off skipping down as she made the necessary three paces of the hallway and entered the room. "Lily!" she exclaimed, and then frowned. "What's with the long face, oh favourite Potter cousin of mine?" It wasn't even that Lily looked sad, just short of the beamingly happy and enthusiastic way she expected Lily to be. She glanced around the room and noticed that it wasn't full yet, but Jamie and Sav and Madi and Anna and a few more people including someone who looked to be having an awfully good time dancing were there, and she couldn't see any reason why. Not that Lily necessarily followed her logic of whys, anyway. lily luna potter

To be quite honest, she hadn't been this nervous since her first year. Not even before their first date had she been this anxious. However, the time following the first date was always crucial. It was the decision-making period. When one, or both, of the participates decided whether to continue on, or call it quits. "I'd love a drink," she replied, a soft, shaky breath leaving her. Jessie was fumbling with the edge of her shirt, when Sav handed her the drink. "I should have expected to see you here. It just didn't cross my mind.. Not that I haven't been thinking about you," she said, casting him a sly wink. In fact, everyday since their date, there was rarely a moment that went by without him fluttering across her thoughts. Not in an obsessive way-- but a worrying one. x

@annelise & @roxanne
Lily nodded her head vigorously at Anna’s comment about inviting enough people that it would be a good time no matter what. That was exactly how she had planned the last one, which was totally a success, and this one was hopefully following in its footsteps. It was off to a slow start, though a lot of the big name players that she knew were coming had yet to show up. Obviously to make a grand entrance, which is something that she would definitely do. Why get their immediately like crazy dancing girl when you could come crashing in midway and throw the whole groove off? Lily liked setting things to her own pace, and while the party was already going the way she wanted it too, there needed to be more people. Or even if there were more people dancing. Right now it was giraffe girl and a few of the other sixth year lions. And no offense to giraffe girl, but Lily’s lions were really killing it out there.
She frowned slightly when Anna said she wasn’t waiting for anyone specific. That meant the champ could take her pick, which made it sound like they were on the same page. “No, I get that. Have to find someone interesting first, and then pounce!” Lily mimicked biting someone. It was funny because she could actually do that as a werewolf. “Don’t hold yourself back just for little old me. You know I’ll find my own target eventually,” she said with a wink.
Turning her attention back to the door, Lily watched as Roxy came forward, asking why she had a frown on her face. See, this one knew what she was talking about. Roxy was asking all the really good questions. That meant Lily could vomit out her sticker dilemma. “I just thought of the greatest thing ever. Stickers! So when people come in they get them. And they would do something really intense, like strobe light colors to the music. But there’s no way I can get any made up in time,” she scrunched her face up. “Maybe next time though!”

Liona had gotten her invitation to the party a little bit late, which was equal parts completely okay with her and not okay with her. It wasn't her party so it was perfectly fine for her to show up later than the start time. She got dressed up and she was certain she was going to the best dressed person at the party considering who was throwing it and who she knew would be there. Lily Potter threw parties often enough and she'd heard they were good parties so she had thought it a good idea to go. What solidified her going had been who she knew would be there. Jamie was friends with Lily so it wasn't far fetched to think that her Hufflepuff would be there. Her Hufflepuff. Could she even think of her like that? Their carnival date had gone well enough with very little awkwardness. She shook off her thoughts. She would just go and try to enjoy herself. She was out of her common room door and up to the Room of Requirement in no time at all. When she entered, she smirked at the decor. It wasn't too bad and the music was nice enough to make her want to dance. She saw Molly and Lily along with Roxanne Weasley floating near the door. They were talking so she didn't want to interrupt and she knew she'd talk to Molly later anyway. Then she spotted Jamie, who wasn't standing too far off from them. She smirked and approached her. "I was certain you'd be here," she smiled with amusement lighting her eyes.

Sav turned all of his attention back to Jessie. While, under any other occasion he'd be working the room and sticking pretty closely to friends, he wanted her to know that he was interested in her. He wanted to show her that she had his full attention. This was the awkward, crucial part of the dating process where neither of them knew what was really going on. They had their first date, their first kiss, and then hadn't really spoken sense. Granted it had only been a few days. He was trying to woo her, he wanted her to know what she was on his mind without having to tell her of course, he couldn't let his guard down. "I would never miss a party." Sav admitted. Unless, like the last one, there was a strong reason why he couldn't attend. But then he wouldn't be happy about it. "Any chance to have fun and just hang out, has my name all over it. I'm glad you came though, I'm sure your being here will make tonight even better." he added. "So uh, drink? he asked, pulling a black flask out of his back jeans pocket with a smirk and nodding to the punch bowl.

Jessie noticed that his gaze wondered, and she swiftly followed it, seeing Madison from afar. An uneasy feeling landed in her stomach. It was no secret that Madison and Sav had a past of flirting. Although, it never went anywhere, and Jessie used that thought to calm her uneasy gut. Madison was a close friend, probably her bestfriend honestly. Jessie trusted her. She trusted both of them, actually. She looked back to find his eyes back on her. "Fair enough," she started, "I wouldn't want to ruin my perfect attendance either." Jessie's cheeks flushed pink, as he spoke. Certainly her presence didn't have that much effect on him. However, if it did... Cheers. As he asked her for a drink, she took a moment to think about it. "Hmm. Just something fruity. Careful though. I'm guessing I'm a lightweight." Mentions @kyles1

Madison was all about partying and editing and having fun. And tonight she was gonna do just that. She was gonna dance the whole night away till the sunrises or until the party ends whichever is the first. But then again she was the type to continue it even after getting back to her dorm. As Lily greeted her back, Madi smirked and said "of course and we love you for that". Turning her attention to Molly as she spoke about school, she nodded and said "mine has been going good too. A bit boring to be honest." And soon enough a few more students washed on and so did Roxy who made her way to them. And that was when Madi decided to spread out and talk to others. " I'll be back" and moved from there.
Madison looked around and once again spotted Sav and Jess together and this time though she actually smiled at her friend who seemed to be having a great time with him. And then someone else caught her attention. Daniel. Grinning she made her way towards him and said "fancy seeing you here Mr. vice President of the gloomy club" she said smirking.

Daniel was really trying to give it a chance, he was fine with parties as he had been to plenty. No parties since he moved to London but that didn't change how a party was but right now was the reminder of why he didn't want to come here. Even if his friends back home wanted him to try and have some fun just standing here looking over a party wasn't fun. Watching while everyone gravitated to the people they already knew yet that was what he expected would happen anyway. Some faces he knew and others were a mystery but that was something he was used to as well. Daniel could leave, he could just slip out and try to have fun another day today just wasn't his day.
With a shrug he was about to do just that till he heard a familiar voice and with a turn toward where it came from he returned the smirk slightly as Daniel saw it was Madison. "I turn up in the strangest places sometimes" Daniel replied as he probably was out of place for how he normally acted and he wouldn't have denied that one bit. "Also I thought we agreed to not talk to loudly about the secret society of gloomy people." It was a running joke now and he didn't mind it, probably what he got for being that way all the time. "Enjoying the party so far?"

Jamie had been about to enter the Room of Requirement – and join in the fun – when she heard her name being called. She turned around to see Max standing there, looking overly eager but also somewhat worried. Jamie wasn’t sure if trying to figure out the source of those two emotions was going to be worth her time – Max had always been an enigma of sorts, even to Jamie. Luckily enough for the Hufflepuff, she had a ready answer to her sister’s questions. “Not a clue on both counts.” Jamie hadn’t come from the Hufflepuff common room – she had been in the Great Hall when the news had come – so she didn’t know whether or not Georgie and Lance had heard there was a party, let alone whether or not they planned on coming. She had heard some whispers about the pair of Americans and something to do with their mother, but Jamie had steadfastly refused to participate in any of the gossip surrounding them. The two Hufflepuffs had been through more than enough already without vicious rumors being spread about them. “If they don’t come, I can tell them you were looking for them when I go back down?” Jamie suggested. It made sense that Max would want to look for her best friend, but maybe the worry in her eyes was related to Georgie? In any case, the message would get to them eventually. Jamie was once again prepared to go into the room when she was once again stopped by a familiar voice – Zita. Jamie looked at her cautiously, unsure whether or not the other girl had gotten over their half-argument about whether or not she’d take the position of Hufflepuff Quidditch Captain next year. Since Zita had greeted her, that was probably a yes, but Jamie didn’t have any time to do more than wave before the other girl ducked into the room. Jamie decided to follow, but separated herself from the rest of the group of Gryffindor girls, who were talking about something she probably had no knowledge of. Jamie was wondering just how long she’d have to hover on her won when she saw Liona walk into the room. Her heart jumped into her throat without permission, and Jamie smiled at the Slytherin. They had had fun at the carnival, erasing most of the remaining awkwardness that they had started with. “Am I really that predictable?” Jamie asked with a laugh when Liona said she was certain of Jamie’s appearance. maxima ruqayyah greyback @lionaanna

Sav knew what he was doing was risky. He knew that if he got caught not only would he likely have detention, but his mother would call him into her office and he would have to explain himself. However, probably half of the people here were of age and he hadn't brought enough to make anyone drunk to the point of getting sick or blacking out, but he had managed to fill a flask with fire whiskey that he convinced the barman at the Hogsehead to sell him. Sav gave a quick wink to Jess before turning and pouring it into one of the bowls of punch on the drinks table. He gave it a swirl with the ladle and then got a small glass for Jessie. He handed it to her, "If its too much you don't have to drink it." he insisted. "Really, I'm not trying to pressure you into drinking if it's not your thing." he promised, but he poured some into his cup which once contained regular punch and took a drink, knowing things were about to get interesting.

Madi mentioned how school was boring and such, but before Anna could really say anything in response, the girl walking away, saying that she'd be back later. Anna smiled and turned her attention to the girl beside her as Lily explained that she understood not waiting for someone. She laughed when her cousin continued on, saying that she had to find someone interesting and then pounce on them. That was one way of putting it, but definitely not the way that Anna would describe it. She rolled her eyes at her cousin. "I'm not the pouncing type, Lily. You know that." Then she shrugged a little, "And I'm not holding myself back for you. I just thought I'd come say hi for a minute." She looked to the entrance, where more and more people were coming from. "But now that the party's going, I'm going to let you continue to greet people until you find someone to pounce on." Anna laughed, even though she was sure that she was right, then she made her way across the room, deciding she needed something to drink. She waved and nodded to people as she passed by. Anna didn't have a problem talking to them, but most everybody seemed like they were already busy with their own person. She got to the refreshment table and nodded to Sav and Jessie, from her house. They seemed to be having an interesting conversation though, or something, so she didn't try to talk to them. She just got herself a glass, gave herself a drink and watched the room full of people in front of her. @kyles1 lily luna potter@sav/@jessie (you don't have to say anything to her)

Jamie said that she didn't know if the two Hufflepuffs were planning to attend the party or not. She did, however, offer to tell them that Max had been looking for them when she went back to their Common Room, which—while not the same as having them there to talk to—was a nice gesture on her part.
Although disappointed that she wouldn't know for certain if Georgie or Lance were coming unless they actually showed up, Max nodded. “Yeah,” she replied, “if you could.” She would have to stay at the party, then, for its entire duration or go back to the Slytherin Common Room and risk missing her best friend at the party if she did decide to come. Max skipped mentioning that she hadn't seen Georgie in a while and really needed to talk to her, instead adding, “Thanks, Jamie.”
If she waited outside of the Room of Requirement for a little while, Max thought, she'd have a better chance of finding the Linleys from the start, avoiding the need to wander around the party for the rest of the night to ask if anyone had possibly seen them. “I'm going to, um, wait out here for a bit,” she said, not noticing that Jamie had already gone inside, herself. “To see if they come.”
Max knew how unlikely it was that either Georgie or Lance would be walking around by the Room of Requirement without planning to go to the party, though there was still the possibility that she might come across Louis Weasley. If anyone knew where Georgie was and what her plans for the night were, he probably did. Moving so that she was off to the side with her back against the wall, she glanced down the corridor.

The moment Jamie smiled at her she felt increasingly better about showing up the the party. She was seemingly surrounded by Gryffindors but she was happy to see Jamie there. With Jamie's laugh, her asking if she was just that predictable, Liona grinned at her. "Well I'm still trying to learn you. I can't say for certain if you're predictable yet," her amusement remained and her words were light but knowing as she spoke. She did know that Jamie had a lot of Gryffindor friends though so she was certain that where Gryffindors congregated there was always a chance that Jamie could be there as well. Liona took a moment to look around the room again. There were a few people on the dance floor, including a.. rather interesting dancer. If that's what you called what she was doing. Without even realizing it her body began moving to the catchy music. "Dance with me? No pressure," she asked when she turned back to the Hufflepuff. If she wanted to wander with her friends that was fine too but Liona would go to the dance floor.

Apparently the cause for Lily's frown was her lack of stickers. Particularly stickers for everyone that would glow or flash or something awesome. It was a bit more intense than Roxy would choose, but it would be pretty cool if everyone had one. And while it was very Lily, it was also very Fred, so Roxy volunteered him. "I bet Fred would be happy to help, for next time!" she said with a grin. "And then it'll be an extra memorable party for sure." And then Roxy was off to the drinks table for punch, and perfectly timed at that, because she saw Sav pocketing a flask. She'd been counting on someone doing it, so she scooped up a glass of her own and offered him and Jessie a tip of her cup and a "Cheers," before she was off again. This time she was off onto the dance floor to find out who giraffe girl was. "You look like you're having fun," she said with a grin as she danced a far more traditional two-step kind-of thing. lily luna potter@sav @adonia
