April 18, 2026 "Priscilla. Hey."
Unfortunately, it wasn't an employee who happened to recognize her and understand that she absolutely needed those pizzas ready; it was Diana Bainbridge. Working for Charlotta was part of her attempt to maintain that she wasn't actually a threat to anyone—and certainly not to Diana's own sisters. No, this wasn't sufficiently awkward.
"I just need napkins," Diana explained before Priscilla could even engage her in conversation. "I'll see you around." Priscilla, who hadn't even realized that she was standing in front of a table full of napkins, moved to the side without saying anything, though she probably would have snapped if it hadn't been another Purifier who had come up to her.
Once she finally caught the attention of an employee, though, she rolled her eyes and explained the situation to them. Luckily, the pizzas seemed to materialize almost instantaneously when she brought up that they were for the record label, and Priscilla—levitating the stack of pizza boxes so that she didn't have to touch them—glanced around for a fireplace. Because the employee hadn't left yet, she quickly asked if she could use the fireplace that was directly behind them. It was, as it turned out, a brick oven in which to make pizza. The nearest fireplace that she knew of, in that case, was back at the Three Broomsticks, and she would have to float the pizzas all the way there. Was this actually how people who didn't have house-elves had to live?
Sighing and trying not to react too strongly, Priscilla took the pizzas down to the Three Broomsticks, where she was forced to wrangle the stack of pizzas for the sake of getting into the fireplace. Though she tried to mention "Leeds", she was infuriated to find out that the network had misheard her and spit her out at the Leaky Cauldron.

▲ What. A. Day. Nell had closed shop around noon, hoping to hop over to Hogsmeade and grab lunch at Blishwicks, gotten in line, waited over an hour because she didn't know there was an event going on, and was now sitting in the Leaky Cauldron with a semi-cold pizza and a beer in front of her, Rhys sitting next to her. At least there was some good that came out of it? By the time she had made her food and left, it was like chaos had broken out and people were getting unruly. It was nice and quiet here at the Leaky Cauldron though, and she could maybe finally eat lunch. “I don't think I've been around that many people since school,” she mumbled through a slice of pizza, which was quickly washed down by a swig of her drink. “I'm going to be hearing about that from Blishwick at some point this week. He's going to come into my shop, and brag about it. I can already tell.” Jimbo Blishwick wasn't inherently bad, just a lot. And she was busy with work. This was where not having an employee was hard, because then they could just lie about her not being in and she could hide away in her workshop or upstairs in her apartment. But it was what it was, and he would eventually roll around and brag about the success of his event and Nell would agree since she was there, and blah blah blah. At least she had escaped early and was able to disapparate the second she wanted to, versus being one of the poor souls subjected to the Floo Network, like the poor girl she could see from the bar that just stumbled out of the fireplace. @tag ● ### ● Song by Artist MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOX 2.0

Just a rhyme without a reason Never-ending maze drift on numbered days April 18, 2026 Rhys hadn’t actually finished his pizza on that adventure that had been the pizza parlor. While it was nice to spend time with his younger sisters, there was only so much of such a crowd he could stand at once. So, they had gone their separate ways and escaped the mob that only seemed to grow. The inside of the parlor had to be charmed and Rhys nodded in agreement. It seemed that all students above third year and all the graduating classes had convened together in one place at the exact same time. ”I’m pretty sure even the Hogwarts Express has a max capacity.” Rhys responded, finish off his first beer. While he preferred Whiskey, beer paired better with his leftover pizza at the moment.
Rhys still found it ridiculous, but he’d never been a fan of crows or standing in a line where fifty people seemed to be in his personal space at the same time. In that way, the Cursebreaker life suited him where his only company were one or two other Cursebreakers or a trainee. ”What did you end up getting?” Rhys hadn’t even asked until he finally glanced at her pizza, eating the last slice of his own after speaking. Nobody had warned him that he’d have to make his own pizza today. Really, the culinary arts had never been a strong point, and then he’d been blessed with a girlfriend who actually enjoyed cooking, so it had added to his slight annoyance. But, he glanced over at a sound. A girl coughing as she exited the fireplace, pizza boxes in tow. Well, pizza was slowly taking over London as well it seemed.

April 18, 2026 Coughing as she made sure not to drop any of the pizza boxes, Priscilla knew that she looked like she had never used the Floo Network in her life. That wasn't true, even if she had made a rookie mistake and hadn't enunciated clearly enough. She didn't recognize any of the people in the pub, though it was still embarrassing. She thought about asking them what they were looking at, but the pizzas were going to be late as it was. Getting back to Leeds was the most important thing. Second was explaining to Charlotta how she had ended up being so late.
Groaning, Priscilla paid for a scoop of Floo Powder and tossed it back in the fireplace, holding the pizza boxes as evenly as she could. This time, she made sure to specify that she wanted to travel to HR Records and was gone again.

April 18, 2026 Going into London with Fae made Sadhbh feel about as close to being a celebrity as she would ever get, not that it seemed that most "mainlanders" cared who Fae was. It was mostly out of convenience that they were traveling together; Sadhbh had gone to make a delivery of wine to the Leaky Cauldron, and Fae was supposed to be meeting someone there. Either way, it was nice to be able to spend a little bit of time with the High Druid.
"Are you sure you don't want a glass of wine?" Sadhbh asked Fae in Brasilic as she finished up her errand and smoothed out the dress that she was wearing. She could see that a few people were looking at them, and she felt more comfortable speaking in their own language. "I have the coins to pay for it," she pointed out, since she had just made her transaction. It was strange to handle money anyway, since it wasn't really used on Hy-Brasil.

▲ Whatever the capacity of the train was, it hadn’t hit it when she was with her sister and Gideon, dropping him off for the start of the fall term. Talk about an insane amount of students there. The part she thought was the funniest was thinking about how many of them were carrying Ollivander wands. Most, if not all probably were. Each and every one of them, holding something either she or a family member had crafted. That was a scale that was hard to imagine for most artists, but she could see it all in person at the start of every school year if she really wanted to. “Maybe a big Quidditch match-up,” Nell added now that she had another second to think about it. “But that’s to be expected. Pizza though? No way.” Another long sip of her drink was necessary to try and block out the last two hours from her memory. Rhys asked what pizza she had gotten, and Nell shrugged. She had forgotten already, but it was good, even cold. Flipping the lid over, she looked at the receipt taped to the top. It read ‘Master of Pizza’. “Master of pizza? It has all the meat and vegetable toppings I could get. I think…” She trailed off as her eyes flicked over to the girl who was stepping back inside the fireplace to travel elsewhere, clearly having been sent to the Leaky Cauldron by accident. That sucked. From there, her gaze wandered further to two women who were also in the pub, one who was dressed in a dress she had never seen someone actually wear outside of movies, and who also had a gigantic staff in her hand. “Rhys!” she called his name in a hushed yell, “Look how big her stick is! I can tell the quality of the wood from here, it’s so good.” Nell had momentarily forgotten the word for staff, as the alcohol and pizza grease was getting to her head. @tag ● ### ● Song by Artist MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOX 2.0

▲ Traveling with someone that wasn’t a guard to the mainland was definitely odd, especially considering the amount of time she had been spending here over the past month. Back and forth Fae went, mostly for her research regarding both the staff and Yrisle. This time, while she was supposed to meet up with Anastasia Karkaroff, she was also accompanying Sadhbh with a delivery of wine that one of the mainlander pubs liked. She was surprised to see that it was the one called The Leaky Cauldron (which if they really did have one, they should probably get it fixed), which she had passed through plenty of times during her adventures in London. Today though, it seemed like that would be her only location since she was also supposed to meet Anastasia there. It sort of all worked out. Sadhbh was asking her about whether or not she wanted any wine, and Fae raised her hand up. “Maybe after I complete my work, but I cannot have anything prior. It would not be proper of me,” she explained to her friend. She didn’t normally like drinking, but the wine from the Wormwood family was exceptional, and far better than anything she had ever tasted on the mainland. That was at least one area where she knew her people excelled, along with animal conservation and the practice of other magical arts. As she waited for her contact to arrive though, there was a couple sitting at the bar area, with the woman looking at her. It had to be the dress. Fae had decided that since she wasn’t leaving any magical zones on this trip, there was no need to dress like one of the muggle mainlanders. “Sadhbh,” she asked her fellow druid, “Is that woman inspecting me?” It was sort of hard to tell in the dimly lit pub, but she wanted to be sure. @tag ● ### ● Song by Artist MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOX 2.0

Just a rhyme without a reason Never-ending maze drift on numbered days April 18, 2026 Rhys agreed with Nell, there was no way Pizza was expected to create such a turnout. Though before he could comment on her pizza choice Nell was immediately distracted by a person that had entered the pub. Glancing over, Rhys did a double-take. Not out of the shock of the two women’s appearances but because he knew her. Bianca had introduced Rhys and Fae and they’d had a brief chat but hadn’t spoken since. He was still working on his research on the runes and the dagger, though obviously not at this very moment. ”Stick? Is that the official term for it?” Rhys wondered if she was star-struck by the staff or the appearance of the High Druid herself here. Rhys didn’t recognize the woman she was with.
Clearing his throat. ”That’s the High Druid.” Rhys informed Nell, almost flatly. Rhys was well-traveled at this point, meeting people from different cultures was normal but he didn’t often meet druids since as a werewolf, they were hardly his biggest fan. Still, Fae had noticed Nell staring at her and he figured he should go say hello before things got too weird. Rhys cleared his throat and made sure there were no crumbs on his shirt before getting up and making his way over. ”I’ll be right back.” Rhys grinned a little so he would hopefully look a bit friendlier than his normal expression. ”Hello Ms. High Druid, it’s good to see you again.” Rhys could feel the other woman’s eyes boring into him. ”I’m Ava and Jean’s brother, remember?”

April 18, 2026 Fae mentioned that it wouldn't be proper of her to have wine before everything that she needed to get done, and Sadhbh supposed that was fair. She didn't have time to say anything in response, though, because the two young people not far from them were quite obviously talking about them. "Rhys!" the young woman said, and it seemed that her attention was focused on Fae. "Look how big her stick is!"
Sadhbh gave Fae a curious look. Her stick? It was a staff. It wasn't a "stick" at all, and it was Merlin's staff, at that! Fae spoke up at about that same time, asking if the young woman was inspecting her. That seemed to be the case, though she obviously couldn't tell the difference between a simple stick and a staff.
"Surely these people understand what power that 'stick' has!" Sadhbh said back to Fae, not caring at all that she wasn't whispering about it. It was perhaps one of the most magical items in existence, and here some mainlander was equating it to something below a tree branch.
Fortunately, it seemed that the young man did understand that the "stick" was more than just a stick. He came over, approaching Fae, and greeted her as "Ms. High Druid". That was different, though his mentioning that he was Ava and Jean's brother cleared that right up.
At that, Sadhbh looked to Fae and tried her best to inconspicuously mouth the word "Wolfsired" to check if that was really what he meant.

▲ The man that was sitting next to the woman that seemed to be interested in her stick hopped up from his seat and approached the druids, seemingly happy by whatever he was about to say to the two of them. And it wasn’t what she expected either. Fae did remember the man, though his name eluded her and he didn’t offer it up. The fact that he was one of the siblings of the Wolfsired children, which Sadhbh asked by mouthing the word and Fae confirmed with a quick nod of her head, certainly helped ease her suspicions of what was going on over at the bar. The woman that the sibling was with was definitely interested in the staff though, from what she had heard, and while she had called it a stick, had also identified it as old. That was a curious way of noticing it, especially because it did have more of a large stick look to it than an actual staff. Maybe that was just how some on the mainland called it? Being called ‘Ms. High Druid’ was funnier than offensive though, and the way the mainlanders had no idea how to address her was always hilarious. The fortune teller, Julia, had called her ‘Your Highness’ upon their first meeting, which was definitely closer to what her position was, even if she didn’t personally see herself as that. “Pleasure meeting you again. This is Sadhbh Wormwood, Hy-Brasil’s finest winemaker,” Fae introduced her companion to the Wolfsired sibling. “Did your companion have a question about my staff? I could not help but overhear her.” There was no way she was going to be actively telling the man that it was Merlin’s Staff though. The less that knew what it was, the better. Very few did as it was already, and she liked it that way. @tag ● ### ● Song by Artist MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOX 2.0

Just a rhyme without a reason Never-ending maze drift on numbered days April 18, 2026 Rhys looked at the woman that Fae introduced. And Rhys gave a light smile and a nod. ”Rhys Greyback. Nice to meet you.” If he’d been five years younger he might have excluded his last name from that introduction, but it was something he wasn’t shy about anymore--even to druids. Rhys glanced back at Nell and wondered if he should invite her over, but he didn’t know if maybe she was too starstruck right now. But, at that moment he heard someone else walk in and his eyes landed on the glare from Anastasia Karkaroff. Rhys knew her from his Order work and had learned quickly it was easiest to deal with her by staying out of the way.
He wouldn’t classify it as fear, but an attempt at sarcasm at one point had not gone well and he’d just avoided it and focused on his work deciphering the runes. ”Erm--Maybe another time.” Karkaroff was walking over to them and that stoic expression of hers reminded him way too much of Cas’ and his Cursebreaker trainee days. She seemed to have as much patience for him as her older brother did--which was very little. Rhys merely nodded to Ana before stepping back.

My head's under water but I'm breathing fine April 18, 2026 Ana was never going to admit out loud that she rather enjoyed the pizza she had gotten, even if she’d opted to not ‘make’ it herself. It had been just cheese on top of cheese, but perhaps the rather refined and simple diet she had grown used to as a child made things like cheese pizza a bit exotic. The next time she went she resolved to get the veggie pizza, maybe she could try and drag her brother along. The image in her mind made her want to laugh a little but her face didn’t show it. Unfortunately, there was still work to be done. The Leaky Cauldron had been chosen for a meeting with the High Druid, and she walked in and spotted her immediately. However, it looked as though she already had company.
Her eyes landed on the broad figure of the werewolf, while he wasn’t bad to look at he didn’t know when to keep his mouth shut. Cas had told her about him. While Rhys nodded at her she spoke simply. ”Greyback.” She acknowledged simply. While he scampered off, she look back at the table. ”I apologize for being late.” She had gotten held up with some documents at work after that exciting lunch adventure. Her eyes then went to the other woman at the table, who Ana did not recognize.

April 18, 2026 Sadhbh felt that Fae was being maybe too complimentary of her to call her the island's finest winemaker, but she also knew that it wasn't polite of her to argue with the High Druid. She nodded a little bit to the Wolfsired young man, though she found it a little bit unnerving to hear him introduce himself with the Greyback name. Werewolves, after all, were Dark, and Fenrir Greyback had been among the worst of them. That much had always been clear to her.
Another woman, whom Sadhbh didn't recognize, entered then, approaching the three of them. She seemed to recognize the Wolfsired young man, and she apologized to Fae for her being late. In other words, she must have been the one whom Fae was supposed to be meeting.
On that note, then, Sadhbh turned to Fae. "Is it alright if I leave?" she checked with her, not wanting to do so until she knew that Fae was comfortable with that.

▲ Right. Greyback was the mainlander family’s last name. Fae didn't understand why the children here took their father’s surname, but she wasn't one to judge if they liked it. He ran off though when Anastasia Karkaroff approached, and it seemed like he quickly understood that there were important things that needed to be dealt with that he wasn't privy to. Fae bowed her head slightly to the Greyback man as he returned to his seat, and then turned to Anastasia. As she did so, Sadhbh asked if it was fine for her to leave, and Fae paused. It really didn't matter much to her either way, but that was okay with her, especially if the other druid had things to do with the Leaky Cauldron workers. “I will be fine. I doubt I will be leaving here, so if you need to go anywhere, it is okay.”Anastasia apologized for being late, and Fae shook her head to the side. Waiting was a normal part of her position, and she arrived here early just to make sure in case there were delays. “No worries. If we were meeting on Hy-Brasil, I would be in your position.” There was so much more to do there than here anyways, so escaping to the mainland oftentimes felt like a break for her. Aside from the business that the two of them would be conducting today. “Was there a specific place you wanted to start?” Fae asked, assuming Anastasia would want to go over a few of the recent developments first. @tag ● ### ● Song by Artist MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOX 2.0

My head's under water but I'm breathing fine April 18, 2026 Ana took a small step back to allow for the other woman to leave. She didn’t know who she was but it wasn’t relevant to the conversation at hand, so Ana would have preferred she not be there. And she figured Fae was correct, if their positions were switched then Ana would have been waiting on the High Druid’s presence instead. ”Is it alright if I sit?” Ana asked, merely out of politeness but she wasn’t about to keep standing for very long. ”I was held up at an...event. There was a large gathering at a Pizza Parlor. Large gatherings can be a sensitive topic…” The previous year’s events had been international news and especially with a leader such as Minister Granger.
Not that she wanted to keep talking about pizza, though perhaps the druids wouldn’t even know what that was. Ana cleared her throat. ”I also would like to request, again, you let me assign you a guard while you are here.” Potter seemed to do a decent job last time, though perhaps someone who talked less would be more appropriate for a foreign dignitary. Although the only other person in the Order she trusted would be an Auror and that meant Slater which was not an option in her mind. ”In any case, I was told--” Ana began before they were interrupted. Were they ever going to be able to discuss their business at this rate?
