FALL ACIVITY CHECK
Hey you guys!! It's that time again! The amazing activity check! ;] So, things are pretty much the same as always (though we always recommend a reread of the rules!) I also want to tell you guys that the dates may be slightly different this time around. Staff is always working to make sure checks run as smoothly as possible and if you notice any differences between this, the last, or even the next it's only because we may be trying out some new stuff.
So bear with us and never hesitate to come to ADMIN DEE or Admin Sora if you have any questions, comments, or concerns!!
- To pass the check you will need two threads with two IC posts per character. (That is four posts for a character to pass.)
- Owls, journal entries, one-shots and threading with yourself do NOT count towards this.
- Those threads must have posts dated between September 15th - October 15th.
- This is a mandatory activity check and if you do not post within the allotted time, your characters will be deleted.
- Do NOT edit your post to add characters as you pass them, just post again in this thread. The staff goes through and updates the safe list, and we won't be looking at posts we've already gone over.
- If you need more threads for a character, check the open thread list HERE!
- Please be sure to double check that you have saved all of your characters. If you forget one, the staff will assume that you want to drop that character.
- Any new accounts joining after the date of October 7th will be excused from the check.
- The only people exempt from this check are those who have posted a hiatus saying they will be away and unable to post for two weeks. This is equal to half of the check. If something comes up you can always contact a staff member. We understand that real life comes first, so we are willing to work things out. If you are worried about something, please contact Dee and Sora.
- Dropped characters will be deleted at the end of the activity check to make claim updates easiest on the staff. Please do not delete the accounts yourself because it will mess up stats!
- Characters being dropped are still considered 'claimed' until the end of the activity check. You CAN reserve a character being dropped in advance, but just can't make them until the check ends. Since we typically only permit reservations for 2 weeks, you can ask the staff for an extension if the end of the activity check is more than 2 weeks away. Basically we will reserve that character for you until a week after the check ends.
- Since we have a wait period for dropping characters. If you drop a character and DON'T post as that character again we will consider the day you posted the drop as the start of your wait period. If you continue to post as the character until the end of the activity check then we will consider the day the AC ends as your wait period start date.
- For the sanity of the staff, please don't put off posting your safe characters until last minute! Post them as you save them. The last thing we want to do is delete anyone characters so don't stress us out!
